Very poor customer experience! If you can find another place, do so! After having a storm door installed, I noticed that the door only opened about 60 degrees. Installer insisted that NO storm door opens to 90 degrees. They insisted that it was industry standard and that there was nothing they could do. The owner had to be called and that was an even worse experience. I could barely finish my sentence before I was met with a lot of aggression.......Long story short, it was the wind chain preventing the door from opening properly and I was able to identify and fix the issue myself. Funny how a non-professional was able to identify and fix an issue that, according to them, had no fix. And it was something simple. Imagine if there were really a defect. Industry professionals they are not! Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. P.S. the quality is no better than anything you can get at Lowes or Home Depot so don't fall for the quality speech. Only reason I needed to go the custom route is because my door frame is smaller than standard doors. read more

Security door and interior door. Doors went installed properly. Finishing not done professionally. Gaps at the bottom and bottom side of interior door. Technician came back made an adjustment, I can still see hairline Crack at bottom side of the interior door. The work was done about a year ago now the interior door bottom lock doesn't work. When I call to have that repaired I was told by the owner that I will have to pay $150. I paid a lot of $ for these doors. The doors that was removed had the original locks on them never replaced in 20 years. Now in less than a year I can't lock the bottom lock or unlock, that's a big problem. I will not give them another dime, I feel I was over charged. The owner told me they came back 10 times which is a lie. THEY CAME BACK 2 TIMES IF THEY HAD DONE A PROFESSIONAL JOB, THEY SHOULD NOT HAVE TO COME BACK AT ALL. read more

I am writing this review because the owner install my door a year ago, the lock on the storm door broke, and the owner Valentino, refused to fix it he wanted me to buy a new set of locks from him, and wanted to charge me to install it again, when I refuse he was very unprofessional, stating he don't know where I got the locks from, I still have the receipt from the door and locks he install, this place do not deserved any stars, the only reason I give it a star the people that answer the phone is nice, but not the owner. read more

Just had my second door installed by these folks. In this case a storm door. Cannot say enough good about Valentino and his crews. We were not expecting installation until after the holidays, but they were ready earlier than expected and installed the next day! Beautiful work. Highly recommended. Great company! I needed to replace my regular door and security door. Valentino (the owner) had come by for a free assessment and estimate. He provided a fair assessment without being pushy which I greatly appreciated. The doors were custom made according to the specifications I had chosen. The crew that came by to do the installation were friendly, professional and were respectful of my property. As part of the installation of the doors, they also had to do new jambs and the bottom (I previously had a half step). The end result is absolutely beautiful and I am so happy with my new doors. They are well sealed when closed and I no longer have a draft. I highly recommend Custom Windows & Doors!! read more

Valentino was prompt for the appointment and provided his insight regarding what I needed to have done prior to putting in a new door. There were some structural issues that needed to be taken care of and he expressed his concern instead of just selling a contract without discussing the issues. Ok, long story short. I saw this company in a Angie's list monthly magazine. I called and asked for an estimate on a custom order front door and security gate on a rental property. I received one on the same day and left a deposit. Seven weeks pass then ad emailed and called with no response. Finally someone calls with a date for installation and excuses for their lack of response to my attempts to communicate. I take a day off work only to be called the morning of to cancel. Apparently the installer realized the custom door was the wrong size at the scene. Everyone knows doors custom or not are labeled with the specs by the manufacturer. Didn't someone feel the need to check it before loading, ariving and wasting everyone's time? Another seven weeks pass even though I was told it would be expidited. They installed the door. GREAT! Or so I thought. Less than a week after install the striker side of the door frame had swelled so badly that the door barely closed with a hard slam. I had to stress them to return sooner than later. The receptionist and the owner tried to implie that it could have been something my tenant did and there might be a service charge. REALLY! !! On as week old install? Upon arrival at the property the owner/installer was attempting to drive the hinged side of the frame towards the structure with longer screws. Thank goodness I arrived before he did a quick fix which could ha e caused other problems, such as an improper door seal. Make your decision but you know where I stand on recommending this business. read more

The guys that did the installation were prompt, professional, and very accommodating when we needed to modify a few things on site. A great choice all around!
