I asked if they would replace it, and the gentleman said "it's under warranty and I should take it to the dealership for replacement, i think they said they looked online and couldn't find one". I had my vehicle inspection done in 2021 @ valley tire "pro's". This time they where more careful with the gas cap, but several months later was informed that i had to return immediately for a replacement sticker. I asked why and was told that it was due to a state audit of their records and fraudulent activity or something. This past month i had them install my summer tires and do a state inspection. They installed the tires and then claimed that the vehicle wouldn't pass inspection because, the tires where smaller than what the manufacturer recommended. They literally removed my stock tires and installed larger tires. I didn't argue, i just left the store. If they can't do basic math, they need not inspect my wife's car. I went directly home and checked the lugnts where tight. Every time i have went there they have always been polite, i will say that. The place is very clean and the counter staff knowledgeable. It's a walmart tire shop value @ a dealership price in my opinion though.

Recommend unequivocally…read more Came to town for work / family visit, all the way from NYC, which took about 8 hours, some of which was in the rain through a fair amount of road work. As we got closer to the area, I started to feel what I can only describe as a shift in the front wheels when I hit a bump and occasionally when I made a turn. I had also heard a clicking sound maybe 6 or 7 times in over the last week or so when making a left turn. Since we have to head back soon, I wanted to make sure that our car would be safe to drive home. I'm no mechanic, so I started fearing the worst and thinking I'd need a very expensive repair. I called Whetzel because the reviews were so good. I made the call about 15 minutes before closing and Warren told me to bring the car in the next morning when they open at 8am so that he could order any needed parts and get us safely on the road the following day. He got the car up on the lift and found that it was a fairly simple repair (loose bolt). He did a wheel alignment and rotated the tires and I was on my way in about an hour. Could not be more grateful to Warren and the fine folks at Whetzel who fit my car into a busy schedule and made sure it would be safe to make the long drive home. When you're a car owner, it's important to have a trusted mechanic. Having something happen while on the road is scary because you take a risk taking your car to a mechanic you don't know. I would not hesitate recommending Whetzel to anyone and would absolutely use them again.

Here's the truth: I respect someone's ambition when trying to start or grow their own business on the side; however, not finishing with one customer and moving on to the next, after having taken 3 times the promised time, and still having it "incomplete", prevents me from ever hiring someone like you ever again. This is not a good way to get people to trust your word or ability to resolve matters in a timely fashion...I was left stranded without transportation for nearly a week, while being forced to do most of the work that I was paying you for myself, due to your lack of sense-of-urgency and slow reaction times. I can understand that you're tired after a long day's work, however, you should set realistic expectations for yourself and customers, so that they can plan their time for being without transportation accordingly; not to be left completely stranded. Communication is scarce, so if you're someone that relies on their car like I do, and values their time, I would consider going to an actual mechanic that will not leave you stranded with an incomplete job after already having issued payment. He has not returned any of my calls and texts back a week later with more empty promises thinking that I'm going to keep waiting on someone that is unreliable & undependable as he is -- consider yourself warned!
