Surprised to see so many negative reviews, which mostly seem to be old, considering the number of customers here getting their vehicles washed. There were four customers ahead of me, and three more behind me--a steady stream of customers the entire time, plus more vehicles in the Detail Area. I have been to Sparkling Clean Car Wash (across from Walmart) twice. The layout is: the attendant takes your vehicle and vacuums it, then loads it on the track of the automated car wash, then they hand-dry your vehicle--all while you wait in the waiting area. This is not a self-service location. The staff and manager are always friendly. The car wash price plus tip is a tad bit higher than what I would like to pay, but considering all they do, I have no complaints. Consider how much time it takes to wash a car, dry a car, clean all the windows inside and out, vacuum, clean the tires--that's a lot of work. Car Wash Packages are separate from Detail Packages. Don't expect every nook-and-cranny of your vehicle to be clean when you only purchase a car wash. If you want "detailed" then purchase a Detail Package. Both times I purchased the Full Service Wash for $16.95 which includes; carpets and seats vacuumed, soft touch all cloth wash, windows hand washed, tires cleaned, and towel dried by hand. 1) Carpets and Seats Vacuumed: I have two dogs and two cats, and my vehicle has a black interior. Sparkling Clean did a very good job vacuuming my car. Both times, the employees found an item under my seats and placed it in my center console. I was highly satisfied with the vacuuming and their honesty of not stealing/discarding my items. 2) Soft Touch All Cloth Wash: I have no complaints--seems to do a good job. 3) Windows Hand Washed: Super impressed because the windows are super clean inside and out. They cleaned off the doggie nose snot; the annoying amount of dead bugs on the windshield (a hazard of country life); and cleaned off that film from using the defroster and air conditioner. 4) Tires Cleaned: They do a good job on cleaning the rims, and the tire-shine lasts for a couple weeks. 5) Towel Dried By Hand: They dried it thoroughly, without spots or streaks. The day after I had my car cleaned, we had a few small thunder storms. Not sure what Sparkling Clean puts on the car, but my car stayed sparkling clean even after the rain. Too bad it can't stay that way for long considering all the dirt/dust that blows around here in the countryside, lol. read more

We went to the facility at 3001 Lindbergh Blvd and paid 200.00 for what we were told would be a complete interior detailing (including an upholstery shampoo) and a wash and wax. Epic fail! They wiped out the interior but left dirt everywhere. The seats were soaking wet but all the dirt and stains were still there and they have no way to dry the seats which they did not disclose before hand. They also used some kind of cleaner/shiner on our floor mats and step bars on the outside that made them extremely slippery. The car wash and wax was so bad that the windshield still had the same bird poop on the upper corner that was there when we brought the car in. We watched our vehicle go through the supposed wash and wax and it barely got on the car. We definitely do not recommend and we will never go back. Save your money! read more

This is your typical "run your car through" full service car wash. Your vehicle is first vacuumed outside by hand, then run through an automatic car wash section inside the building for your exterior and afterwards is dried by hand inside as well. The wash service is average as your car comes through fairly clean and mostly dry. The quality of both the vacuum and hand dry depends upon the employees working that day. The wash setup seems to be geared more for SUVs than cars but does an "OK" job on either. If you're an average car owner who takes average care of your vehicle, this place will work for you, especially in the cold Illinois winters when it is literally impossible to wash your car yourself do to freezing temperatures. However, If you greatly care for your car and it's paint, do not go here as those brushes and wash drapes are a nightmare for your paint! The same goes for any car wash center such as this. As far as their "Detail" services, I do not recommend them. Their services are truly not professional yet they charge professional prices. For exterior detailing, stick to a body shop or one of the professional auto detail men/women in town. read more

Do not use this car wash. Employees could not care less. Terrible place!!!! I paid extra to have my wheels cleaned. No one ever touched one of them. If I had a coupon book for free washes from this place I would throw it away. read more

Do not go to thiis so called car Wash I live about 40 miles away thought I'd get my truck washed before I went home. Lazy staff expensive crap job and when I got home I found someone there stole over 40$ out of my center console called too complain and they just hung up.. do yourself a favor and find another place read more

Terrible service, Lazy staff, wish I had read the reviews on Yelp before heading over to Sparkling Clean !! I was going out of town for a road trip and wanted a clean interior for my 5 days on the road. With exception to the windows, that did not happen. Not one inch of the dashboard, crumbly console & cup holders were touched. I have a dog and expressed that I wanted the dog hair and spit cleaned up, that didn't happen. Purchased the "Dazzler" for around $25 bucks and was shocked at what did not happen for that price, and a $5 tip ! I stopped by there around 6pm on a Saturday night and thought I would get decent service during down time but I was wrong. My 4 extra floor mats were taken out and not put back in my car so they are gone forever. The manager was on a personal phone call while he rang up my purchase, and did not speak to me directly about anything regarding the transaction. read more

I have been here twice and OMG! The service is horrible. The first time I went I paid for the dazzler and my windows and tires were not touched at all. Tried to give them another shot at it and this time paid for just the basic and again the tires were not done...wait on the driver side but not the passenger side. There were also still water spots from my car coming through the wash. They never have the same employees working there, if feels like they choose people from a pool daily and they could care less about how your car looks when you leave. This has to have been the biggest waste of money I've ever had. The workers were so lazy my truck was still dirty when I got it back. There were bugs on the mirrors and it still is bird droppings on the side. Which by the way was the aim reason I went there. The manager / cashier was rude when I complained and told me "What did you expect, quit your complaining." Never again will I use or recommend this place. read more

Was accused of driving off the last time I was there. Which the last time I was there it did happen but it wasn't me. It was the guy in front of me. The guy at the register yelled at his employees for allowing this to happen, I remember it specifically because my daughters made a comment about how mad he got. He tried to tell me he hadn't been there that day which was not true. Both times was with a use of coupon that the car wash had given as a donation to organizations for golf outings. Horrible customer service! The car wash broke our front license plate holder and bent the plate almost in half. When we showed the "manager" the damage he said it wasn't his responsibility, refused to apologize or compensate us in any way. I will NEVER return. read more

I just left and then detailed my car myself. When I took a quick peak while still at the carwash, I saw dirt, crumbs, etcetera still on the console. I asked the guy to give it another wipe-down. Then I left and realized the car was still filthy. I then cleaned the dash, cup holders, vents, mirrors, seems in the leather seats and nooks and crannies in general, myself.
