People are nice…read more Actual taxi drive took us a scenic route and ultimately the fair was $55 dollars to go 8 miles / 10 minutes. Our ride took about 20 minutes. Used Uber to get to the airport for my return flight and that was $28 with tip included, so more than half the fare. What I am ultimately saying is that the taxi is expensive and it felt like the driver took us for a longer ride than requested. Took advantage of us not knowing the area. Kinda sucks and informs my actions for the next time I fly into the area. I will not use a taxi unless it is an absolute last resort.
