So we had a bomb cyclone. That's what the news called it. Temps dropped down into the teens and it was freezing. Of course that's when my heat goes out. We called several well known Heating and Air companies in the area to come out and do the work. None of them would come. Two days they said or you can pay overtime. I got to looking at the online reviews and saw that A/C ServiceMaster LLC has just as many online reviews as the other companies but that the reviews for A/C ServiceMaster was better than all the other companies. I called and he came out within an hour. He checked my heat, called a dealer for the part, convinced them to leave the part out for him since they were closing so we could have heat that night. He came back and put the part on and fixed our heat. The other companies would have charged us overtime because it was after 5pm when the job was finished but not A/C ServiceMaster LLC. He did right by us and we've had a heated home throughout the coldest week in recent history. Thanks A/C ServiceMaster LLC. read more

Looking for someone to do half-*** work ans not stand behind it or agree to fix it, you got your guy! Cut's corners like no other. Installed a gas unit when he was supposed to install an electric unit and would not change it out. Stay away....far away. read more

He installed a unit a couple years ago. It's about to need its third repair. And he's always too busy to come do the repair in a timely manner because he has to go preach. Perhaps he needs to spend less time preaching the gospel and more time learning the gospel and how to be honest. read more

I had an A/C issue in 2008. Paul was quick to respond, very reasonable on price and fixed the issue quickly. I needed a 20 amp dedicated circuit for a home based 15 needle embroidery machine and really didn't want to pay an electrical so got some "advice" and concluded we could put a 20 amp circuit in place of the 15 amp. Three months in, I noticed that my lights were flickering in the home office whenever I fired up the machine or plugged an iron in. I did a quick internet search for possible reasons and quickly determined that I likely had a fire risk so I went to my trusted Yelp to find an electrician. Sure enough my hunch was right. We had Help!! put in a true dedicated 20 amp. No more flickering. While we had him we decided that lightening strikes near the house were too close for comfort and we have way too many electronics and energy electric car plugged in so we had him install a whole house surge protector. Very reasonable. Will definitely use again and highly recommend!

Don't trust the good reviews…read more 2 year old Carrier Heat Pump not cooling on a Townhome bought new 2 years ago. No idea who installing company was. Property manager jumped the gun and called out another company that was not Carrier authorized who diagnosed it as a freon leak from a bad factory solder joint. $770 to repair from non Carrier authorized company. Called Carrier for warranty coverage and they recommended Holley as they are an authorized Carrier dealer/repairer and could diagnose the problem, then contact their Carrier representative for a solution. Holley confirmed the diagnosis of factory defect with bad solder joint causing all freon to leak out. I was told by Holley service tech, they cannot guarantee the repair or assure me that one of the other solder joints will not leak eventually causing the same issue. I also was told by Holley several times that they would not deal with Carrier for a solution as they "did not install the unit" (when it is not an installation issue. It is a manufacturer defect). Estimate to repair from Holley $1660. Somewhere along the line, Holley did speak with their distributor Mingeldorf (sp?) who offered a $500 credit towards labor to repair the unit, but it had to be used within 15 days. I then got to tinking about the difference in repair estimates. I asked for a itemized breakdown from Holley for the repair and was given this: $470 for 5lbs of R401A $1190 for 3 hours of labor, Misc, Materials (acetylene, copper fitting, solder material) Now lets assume the Misc and materials is $100. That equals $1090 for 3 hours of labor or $363/hr. I have asked for their hourly labor rate 4 times and they will not give it to me. The owner is rude and basically said I need to go somewhere else to have it fixed. He stated that I don't want to pay for anything (which is untrue). It is clear to me that they are deceitful in their business practices as I can assure you that $363/hr is not the going rate per hour for HVAC service. I don't want the repair for free, but I also don't want to be lied to and taken advantage of which is what this company is doing.

For fast, reliable, skilled, and trustworthy service, this is definitely the company to call! I cannot say enough about this company. Sometimes, reaching out to repair companies is difficult when you don't know who you can trust. One thing I can say for certain - this company will be the one we call - each and every time. Exceptionally knowledgeable and skilled, but also very pleasant and explained everything as well. We were worried that calling someone on the weekend, urgently would cost a fortune, but pricing was very reasonable! Especially considering coming out on the weekend and climbing into the attic in extreme heat! I haven't had many pleasant experiences with service technicians in any capacity in the Aiken/Augusta areas. Mr.Diggs was professional, knowledgeable of his craft and compassionate to my situation (no air since Friday) not counting he had to deal with a difficult insurance company. My A/C unit was inoperable last week. I gave A/C Service Master, LLC a call based on the reviews that I read. Paul arrived at my home within an hour or so. The A/C Unit had its last days and needed to be replaced. What impressed me was that it was raining outside and Paul went to get portable tent so he would complete the A/C installation as promised. Paul came out immediately to help with the AC that kept blowing fuses. It took a long time to figure out because the unit kept repeating the offense. Very reasonably priced and conscientious about the future performance of the unit. The manufacturer, Carrier, would not honor the warranty with transfer of ownership (I've owned the home for 1 year) on a 2 yr old unit. I will use A/C ServiceMaster if I decide to upgrade the unit. read more
