This is a huge place with lots of seating and huge variety of food. We spent 1 and a half hours there as the food was unending. Everything was delicious and fresh. We loved the dumplings and so so many varieties of sushi which were freshly made. The salads and deserts were amazing too. Took my girlfriend here and she got sick from the food. There were certainly some good things: the salmon Sashimi, the desert table, and the service of our waiter were all positives, so we did enjoy the first half our our visit... But something (we suspect the shrimp) turned her stomach and she spent the 2nd half of the evening loosing everything she had eaten in the washroom. This cast a rather unfortunate pallor over the evening as a whole and our subsequent opinion... Went there for lunch with a couple friends today. The wait staff was very nice and helpful. They even had one of those robot waiters. Alas that is where the pleasantries ended. Went here as the first location wanted to do all you can eat was too long of a wait. The service here was really good and always on the ball when it came to collection plates or refilling drinks. The reason why I gave this place a 3 was because some of the food that was there was very stale. Had a few things that were either so hard that you couldn't bite into it or it had been out so long they it was super chewy. Went in tonight for my birthday dinner and was deeply disappointed with the whole experience. Cold food, empty items. My wife told them about one of the items being cold. They took what was left into the back, threw it in the deep fryer, and brought it all back out. Who knows how long it originally sat there under the heat lamp. We discussed what we thought of the meal afterwards and decided that you do get what you pay for, and it was worth the price of dinner. The sushi and sashimi were limited, but tasted fine, the rolls were good; everything was okay, just not awesome. The Miso soup was good. The choice of chinese food was vast, a little bit of everything for everyone. It all looked really good, but seemed to be missing something. Everything was fine and the Hot and Sour soup was nice, and spicy. Service was good, and attentive, which was nice. The space was clean and bright. Came here on Friday with the family after a trip to Costco. The kids were hungry so we thought buffet would be good. Plentiful parking. The place was busy which I guess is a good sign. It is quite big inside and we were seated promptly. There is a good selection of cooked items like dim sum, noodles, rice, western Chinese fare, Korean short ribs, various soups. There was a good selection of sushi rolls, salmon sushi and sashimi. Cold section had lots of selection of salad, pickles and such. In the front there was shrimp, scallops, lobster claw, mussels, clams, and escargot. For dessert, there was a candy bar with sours and assorted treats. Cakes, mouses and such lined one aisle. Lots of flavours of ice cream and one feature of pineapple whip - our favourite. Service was great for the most part. They came by to take empty plates often. There was a couple of lulls where it took awhile to refill water but all in all it was good. Family was full by the end of it. Weekends are a bit more expensive then the rest of the week. In any event, the wife convinced me to leave the house with the promise of limitless good food for less than $20. It was not long after arriving at this place that I regretted my hesitation. This place has lots of parking, the decor is modern and clean. The food is served buffet style and it is abundant and flavourful. Nice place for big group lunch/dinner, met up with sibling so our party grew. Hubby saw a recommendation so checked out this buffet. Nicely located close to Chinook mall which is a bonus with good amount of parking right outside the restaurant. Greeted quickly by staff as we walk in around 5, staff was friendly and we were very quickly seated. Food choices are great with seafood and sashimi. Their sushi were made in house, each piece is perfect sized, small enough to each every roll they offer without feeling stuffed. As it is Sunday so during dinner they offer sashimi, they have both tuna and salmon and they were decent quality, they also have miso soup and tempura (veg and shrimp) that are not bad. Asian they have many types of fried noodles as well as fried rice, all are moist and tender. They also offer dim sum, they are on the low average but it's nice to try as well, they didn't forget the sweet and sour pork, chop Siu and lemon chicken, all of which are my middle child's fav. They have a table only dedicated to cold seafood, they have scallops, shrimp, mussels, sea snail and crab legs (and a couple more) a very good variety and it was good. At the end of the table they have a grill for fresh beef, salmon, chicken. Beef was not very good, it was medium rare but very chewy, fish was juicy which was nice and chicken was flavourful. At the end they also have desserts! Large variety of ice cream (8 scooped and 2 soft serve) pineapple flavor was unavailable and vanilla was icy. They also have lots of cake and fruits Service throughout the night was very good, staff were helpful and clean up the plates very quickly after your finish each round. Drinks are refilled as soon as they see it empty. Price was affordable at $26.99 (weekend) for adults and they split the kids age into different categories which is fair. My youngest is $3.99 and my oldest is $13.99. Drinks are extra at $1.50 for soft drinks but it includes free refills. They lost a star to the bathroom and cleanliness. Highly recommend making a reservation for peak hours. The food did tend to sit and be lukewarm when i arrived but as the place picked up, food was refreshed promptly and were hot. The standard Chinese buffet food items were available but the sushi items were my go to. The sashimi choice was restricted to salmon and tuna but tasted good and were a generous size. The rice was denser than what i am used to, but makes sense for a buffet. The seafood was great quality! Great service with friendly staff and a modern interior. It was a new place and so I had to come try it out. Parking 5/5 lots of parking. Had its own parking lot. Environment 5/5 place is very spacious , clean but this is because it's new. Service 4/5 when we ordered the sushi & sashimi it came out pretty fast. The servers were very friendly made sure to come ask if we needed more water. They could of came around more often to clear the tables of the dirty plates. Food 3/5 food was ok more chimes good then anything. Not everything was labeled so wasn't sure what was the dish when walking around. Not a great dessert selection either . Ice cream tubs not labeled which was disappointing especially since I'm allergic to strawberries I didn't know which one was what. Soft serve chocolate ice cream came out weird color so couldn't eat that. Chocolate fountain didn't look like chocolate was very runny and looked like brown coloured water. We had today the worst service what we have in Calgary. We were in that buffet when it just opened and can admit that we never come again . Already dirty , the dishes are dirty but the most important thing what impressed us that during our lunch about 40 min the server never come to our table to clean. They were walk around but never come until late we call their manager . When we showed her our table and table close to us where we set our dirty dishes just apologized for this inconvenience. Oct-5-2018 First and last time at this location Disappointed My experience at this place was very disappointing , for a Friday at 6:45 pm all the trays were either empty or with some food in but very cold, nothing special at the sushi bar, you can buy that kind of sushi in any store, normally we go down town for Chinese food, but tonight we want try something different because our granddaughter likes sushi , in each tray there was one or two pcs left and ready for the garbage, my wife she did her dish and she never touched anything on the dish because the food was old and cold. Went here with party of 6 for a birthday dinner outing. Made sure we made reservations for around 6 pm so that we were in time when food was fresh and hot. We enjoyed the pre-cracked hot crab claws. Don't forget to ask for cracker utensils ! Although the claws are pre-cut, there were parts hard to just pry open with your fork or knife . We were here a couple of weeks ago. After having another disappointing meal out last night, I was reminded about my experience at this place. As you can see from previous reviews I don't have negative reviews often so please know I am not a negative person. Not going to say much. Over all experience was lacking. From service to food. While there is a huge selection of foods to choose from nothing was very good at all. But the most disappointing part of the experience was when we went to have some sushi. Though the sushi was sitting on ice it was all at room temperature which was a little disconcerting and we debated whether we should try it. We decided to risk it and were very disappointed. Bland, no flavor and warm. Nothing refreshing or good about it. We left this place completely unsatisfied not wanting to pay the $39 per person. This is one place I would not recommend. read more

I went to this buffet two separate times for dinner, one on a Tuesday night, one on a Friday night. The Friday dinner has about the same sashimi and sushi selections but has many more hot food item including roast beef. I also found that the food is fresher on Friday, probably due to the quicker turnover with more people. Love the varieties and food quality. BAD SERVICE AND LOW QUALITY FOOD WITH MSG STAY AWAY I came here with my 2 young children and my friend and her 3 young children. We were in the lobby waiting for a server to seat us and were talking, and when the manager came up to the desk to get our attention started yelling "HELLO, HELLO?" I did not appreciate her initial reaction but decided to stay because we had kids with us and it was freezing outside. Other than her, the rest of the workers and servers were friendly. Now onto our meal, despite the name, there is only a small selection of sushi. Even the sushi they are serving did not look appetizing! The yam rolls had white mayonnaise squeezed on top, the sushi had a thin slice of salmon on a big bed of rice. Poorly presented and not appetizing or tasty. This is a big selection of Chinese food that is loaded with msg, so if your sensitive to msg than stay away! The vegetables were slimy, the meats with soggy and not crispy like you would except Chinese dishes like lemon chicken or ginger beef. The Korean beef short ribs were undercooked and had no sauce on them. The rice and noodles weren't fresh. Most of the noodles were broken up into smaller pieces like they had been sitting for hours. The food wasn't even hot! The desserts were not good at all, cookies were burnt, cakes lacking flavour. The only good thing was the ice cream. Then we go to pay our bill, and the manager tells us that we have to pay 15% gratuity on the bill. I explained to her that we're only 2 adults and the rest are children. Also nobody told us that we had to pay an extra 15% on top of a meal that we didn't even enjoy. This is not right to make a group of 6 or more pay for a large tip when the costumers are mostly children. What if everyone can't afford to pay such a large tip? She wasn't going to budge so it was pointless to argue my point. Don't be fooled by their rating. It is a total scam! They give you 5% off your bill if you show them you left them a 5 star review!! Came here for dinner with a group of friends. The price was decent for dinner (26.99) but it wasn't worth it for the food we got in my opinion. The buffet had a mixture of a bunch of different asian cuisine including Korean, Japanese and Chinese. The food was not fresh and had the taste of something that's been sitting in the warmer for a long long time. The short ribs were overcooked, the Chinese food was very greasy (including vegetables). The seaweed on the sushi was chewy and the wasabi was rock solid. There wasn't much vegetables to choose from and the desserts were ridiculously sweet. The remaining food were either soggy or dry as they've been sitting for way too long. The soft serve machine wasn't working as well. Additionally, 50% of the signs for the food were incorrect and mislabelled. As it was a buffet it was pretty much 100% self serve. Service was non-existent and we finally saw an employee when we went up to pay. With that being said I think it was great! was it the best sushi I've had? no. But it came quick, was yummy, and there were many options available. I came here for two lunches in a row, so I think it's fair to say that I've seen enough to be able to write a coherent review. This was in Sept, when they were offering a 30% off promotion for lunch (bringing the adult price to $15 or $16). A+ is a combination of a Chinese buffet with AYCE sushi ordering. The décor and ambiance is awesome - everything feels so modern, with clean cut lines and open spaces. The staff all have digital name tags, which was also cool. I found my service experience to be mixed - both visits had a very delayed seating / name taking at the entrance. My first visit was with a (white) friend, and I found the table side service to be a bit sparse. My second visit was with my (Chinese) family, and we had a server that was friendly, attentive, and great at clearing plates. Take that how you will, considering the second visit was much busier restaurant wide... Unlike some of the other reviews, I had no issues getting my sushi order right or on time - they were prompt about it and the sushi was..... well, I think the sushi was what one would expect from a Chinese buffet restaurant - which is to say, not terrible. I've had a lot worse, that's for sure. The buffet options are actually pretty large, and includes a little bit of dim sum as well (pork buns, steamed shrimp dumplings, siu mai, etc.) The shrimp dumplings were hit and miss - some of them were decent and some of them were so mushy they weren't edible. The buffet selection was actually pretty decent, and there was also a seafood bar area which apparently only has shrimp and mussels for lunch (no crab legs, unfortunately). These were.... mediocre, but again as expected for this kind of buffet. As far as buffets go, I've had better, but I've also had worse. I would say that there is no reason to visit this place as opposed to somewhere else unless there was a 30% discount - as far as the cost to food ratio, for $15 it was a solid choice.
