However, since Prutch's took over the business, the prices have skyrocketed. Back in February 2020, I had a broken spring. A technician came out quickly and replaced both springs for $367.18--very fair and professional service. Fast forward to November 2024, same exact issue. This time, the first invoice was $165 just to clamp the broken spring (which only held up for a day). I was told someone would come back out, but no one did--and the technician on site wasn't even aware of the issue. Then came the second invoice: $706 to replace both springs. That's more than double the cost from just a few years ago. It felt like a serious case of price gouging, and I was ready to leave a 1-star review. However, after speaking directly with the owner, Garret, I felt heard. He was understanding about my long history with Kenny's and acknowledged that prices have changed significantly. He agreed that providing estimates upfront would be a good step, especially with such a big difference from previous rates. Because of that conversation, I'm updating my rating from 1 star to 4 stars. I still believe the pricing needs more transparency, but I do appreciate the respectful technician and Garret's willingness to listen and make things right.

We chose Legacy because it is a local, independent business and he did a wonderful job on our first project, a storage shed for our backyard. The price he quoted was reasonable and fair. The final price was close to the original quote. However, the project took twice as long to complete. Nevertheless, as we saw the progress of the project and the high quality of work being done, we became less concerned about the timeline of completion. We are extremely pleased with the aesthetics of our new living space. More importantly, we watched the construction of Michael's work. He was cognitive of cost, yet he never compromised on the quality and workmanship. Shortly after the job was completed, we had our HVAC technician come in to clean our furnance. The firt thing he said was, "Wow, what a beautiful floor!" Everyone that walks into our basement mentions how beautiful everything turned out. The bathroom with a full size walk-in shower looks far more expensive than it actually cost. We are extremetly pleased with Legacy Doors and More and the subcontractors that Michael hired for the plumbing and electrical work.

This company is amazing…read more On Sunday (the day before MLK) my garage door completely came off of its track and would not close nor open. I had to call A+ garage services because they were one of the few that was open 24 hrs. After the rep from A+ repaired he played a huge scare tactic on me and said I needed to replace the entire thing: the motor and the garage door and quoted me a $2,300 price. He said it was one of their cheaper prices. Fortunately, I shopped around and came across Overhead Door. Their service reps came down and said, that this could easily be repaired and advised 100% against getting a new door and a new motor. They told me my door was slightly dinged up but that was the worst of it. All-in-all, it cost me $90.00 to fix everything...NOT $2300! They fixed it, provided awesome service and most importantly they took a consultative approach rather than a cheap scare tactic. The rep I worked with was Steve Nibler. He's rad!
