I got lots of quotes within 15 minutes and chose Idaho Garage Repair because the first response from them was fast and pricing was very good. Sam was at the house in less than 30 minutes diagnosing the failure and met with my wife presenting her the options. We ended up with Sam, who is a very nice and friendly person back at our house the next morning with the part. In a few hours, he was able to replace the damaged spring and service both doors of the 3 car garage. He was a man of business integrity on his promise of his quick arrival, adherence to the next day appointment and his quoted price. After reading many reviews of his competition who were accused of "up selling" and surprising price increases, Sam earned our trust and admiration for being an honest businessman. We recommend Idaho Garage Repairs without hesitation. Top notch professionalism at a time when there was considerable stress due to the failed door. Call him first.

A+ contacted me about doing an annual service, and Gavin was assigned. He was very professional and outgoing. He took time to explain what he would be doing. After the service, he showed me what he had done. He answered all my questions and even programmed my auto remotes. Apparently, the other company gave me lower quality remotes, and even Gavin couldn't get them to work with the car remote. So he used a remote he had in his truck, to sync with my car-at no extra cost. Gavin is a great example of caring about the customer.

I got their information from the LiftMaster dealer page and ended up talking with Steve the owner. Steve was great on the phone and took the time to answer all of my questions. He ended up recommending the LiftMaster 8550 with battery backup, keyless entry, and smartphone control. Turns out this is the very same garage door opener Steve has on his home--which was a good sign. We scheduled Steve to come over the next day and install my new LiftMaster. I was really happy he was available to come over so quickly. I'm used to having to schedule service calls or appointments for my home a week out. Steve showed up at the promised time the next day and got right to work. Turns out he's has been installing and repairing garage doors for over 45 years! It's rare to find people with such a wealth of expertise, but Steve's got it. I suspect he's been working on garage doors for so long that he's probably gotten more about garage doors than most other professionals ever learned. With the installation finished I helped Steve clean-up and we tested it out. My new LiftMaster 8550 looked great and functioned perfectly. I'm really happy with it because it's much, much quieter than my older chain-driven Genie, more responsive when controlled via remote, and the iPhone app is pretty cool too. It's also worth mentioning that I priced out this same LiftMaster 8550 package with another company and they $200 more expensive! After some negotiation they offered me $100 off, but that was still more than $100 more than Steve's price. I really appreciate that Steve didn't try to gouge me and quoted me a fair price. If you're looking for help with your garage door or need a new door installed I recommend giving Steve a call. He's a great person to do business with.

We chose Legacy because it is a local, independent business and he did a wonderful job on our first project, a storage shed for our backyard. The price he quoted was reasonable and fair. The final price was close to the original quote. However, the project took twice as long to complete. Nevertheless, as we saw the progress of the project and the high quality of work being done, we became less concerned about the timeline of completion. We are extremely pleased with the aesthetics of our new living space. More importantly, we watched the construction of Michael's work. He was cognitive of cost, yet he never compromised on the quality and workmanship. Shortly after the job was completed, we had our HVAC technician come in to clean our furnance. The firt thing he said was, "Wow, what a beautiful floor!" Everyone that walks into our basement mentions how beautiful everything turned out. The bathroom with a full size walk-in shower looks far more expensive than it actually cost. We are extremetly pleased with Legacy Doors and More and the subcontractors that Michael hired for the plumbing and electrical work.
