It was detailed and complete, listing all materials needed and all of the instructions for moving (what goes, what stays, packing fragile items, etc. 2. The team arrived per schedule, on time and ready. They worked quickly and professionally, and I found them friendly and I observed them taking extra care of my goods as they were loaded on the van. 3. Unloading was quick, and I found them both responsive to my directions for where things needed to wind up, and in fact they created a storage scheme that allowed me to access my kitchen stuff (for instance) without a lot of shuffling and relocating boxes. I also thought the service was a good value for the level of work they provided. What I especially appreciated was that they worked with me to find a solution when my plans changed. At one point, I was considering storing my belongings at their warehouse for less than a week. Rather than simply taking the additional business, they told me it did not make sense to move everything from the original location into warehouse storage for such a short period because it would unnecessarily increase my costs. That advice was one of the reasons I ultimately decided to use PODS instead. My moving needs did change at the last minute, which made the overall move more expensive than I had originally planned, but that was because of the changing logistics, not because they were trying to increase the price. I really appreciated that they were focused on helping me find the most practical and cost-effective solution. I would absolutely recommend them.

So I paid DOUBLE what I was expecting, which was already more than what was quoted cause I was adding a little buffer, but ended up tipping a whole additional person because I'm not a jerk. The guys were nice but inefficient. Kept saying this is what you get with a higher quality mover, but it was not even a better experience. They were wasteful with the amount of packing supplies they used, never presented or communicated the prices of the materials they were using, which I was told was included anyway but also others I never approved or asked for. Just popped it on me in the end. Oh and then they say "we are going to adjust your time by 15 min you'll see a refund on your card" and two and a half weeks later still waiting for it to even show pending at least. But you better believe the charge was instant. I was debating sharing my feedback but was so mad I finally emailed the company. But no one had even dignified me with not even an automated response, just silence. So I come here to do something I pretty much never do. But that's how annoyed I am. Sorry but would rather recommend. Cheap Movers, way better. I used last move were a thousand times better and a QUARTER of the price. I'm not even cheap but I hate being taken for a fool, and it turned out to be just that. That's what I get what I get for using hourly movers for the first time, never again. I was a bit wary considering the low cost, but they did an incredible job and maintained wonderful communication throughout the planning and moving process. I was given a window of 8am-8:30am for the movers' arrival, and Corey, Tamarius, and Drew arrived right before 8:30am. They did an excellent job taking apart and wrapping my furniture and got everything securely into their truck within about two hours. The unloading was extremely fast and Tamarius kindly put together the furniture they took apart for transport (and even moved some heavy packages that were waiting for me upon my arrival to the new house). I noticed a few small nicks on my guest bed frame and on one of the legs of my kitchen table, but nothing extreme (and nothing a wood marker couldn't take care of). The vast majority of my furniture (including my beloved bookcases) made it in excellent condition. TLDR; I couldn't recommend GS Moving Solutions enough! They were easy to work with and did a wonderful job moving me across state lines.
