Kimberly Thompson was a wonderful officiant and she is VERY VERY organized! Her organization is so great because when it comes to the ceremony, while it is the reason for your special day, it can often be overlooked and we knew that would not happen with Kimberly involved. She and our coordinator worked wonderfully together for our August 2008 wedding and Kimberly had much of the organization of the ceremony figured out and documented for our coordinator. Kimberly was also very helpful in making suggestions for our ceremony and was professional in incorporating the suggestions we went with and for those we didn't, she recognized it was our day and wanted to make sure it was what we wanted. She has a vast amount of experience and has worked with many vendors at many venues across wine country. In addition, when I looked back at the references that many venues we reviewed for the day of after our wedding, I noted that she was often listed on this list of recommended officiants. An additional perk is that Kimberly will meet with you and your fiance when you pick up your license in Napa, ensuring you have all the paperwork set up properly. Beyond all, Kimberly kept me on my toes! This is usually hard for someone to do because I am usually a step in front of most and she was always a step in front of me when asking for items. This was very helpful as we had originally planned for a friend to marry us but that did not work out so we were late in the game on finalizing an officiant and later on finalizing the ceremony details. We were lucky because of our Thursday wedding date to be able to book Kimberly. If it were not for that it would have been very hard to find one within 6 months of the wedding. We spent a lot of time trying to find the right officiant to preside over our non-denominational and intercultural wedding. I used a Beautiful Ceremony for my April wedding at the Waldorf Astoria in Orlando. Rev. Kevin Knox from the start was super friendly and easy to work with. My husband and I are from NJ and being that this was a destination wedding, Rev. Kevin took extra time to video chat with us to get to know us, asked us a lot of detailed questions to understand what about our ceremony we were looking forward to, what type of ceremony we wanted to have and if we didn't know, he was able to provide so many examples to help guide us in the right direction. What was great about working with Kevin is we really didn't know what we wanted to do as we both come from Catholic families and are Catholics ourselves but we have recently transitioned into more of a non-traditional Christian outlook so having Kevin there go guide us through our spiritual journey really helped us. Kevin has a blueprint that lists step by step milestones and examples of what each milestone can be so we were able to build our a custom ceremony that worked for us. We ended up going with a mixture of traditional/sentimental warm touches with our own custom vows and meaningful prayers and blessings throughout. One detail I appreciated is Rev. Kevin asked us what we prefer that he wears being that we were not in a Church (we got married outside at the hotel) he wanted to ensure that he was being respectful to us and our parents which was a very thoughtful touch. On top of Rev. Kev being so organized and kind, he also is very well spoken and very clear communicator. Not having our usual religious leaders there with us at first was a concern being that the ceremony is the biggest part of the wedding and this was a destination wedding. Rev.
