Hiring Melanie as my day of coordinator was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding day. She is extremely detail oriented, organized, attentive, and super easy to work with! From about a month out, Melanie went through all the logistics and schedule with me and it was so helpful to have her expertise to plan everything out accordingly. She always made herself available for questions and was very willing to help. All through out the wedding day, Melanie had consistent communication and was on track of the schedule. She managed my bridal party, guests, and vendors so well and professionally. Everything I asked of her was executed perfectly. I was able to actually enjoy and have fun on my wedding day because Melanie went the extra mile to make sure of it. She brought my vision to reality, it was truly the best day ever and I cannot thank her enough. If you are looking for a wedding coordinator/planner, look no further! What would I do without Mel?? A short backstory, but me and my now husband comes from a family who doesn't really have weddings, so we had no idea what we were doing but just knew we wanted to celebrate with our love ones! My husband actually referred Mel to me and from there we had set time to just chat to share what we wanted and any guidance would be so helpful! Our first conversation, Mel was already asking us questions we didn't even consider and threw out a lot of great recommendations that matched our price point too! We were really impressed and wanted Mel to be involved in our wedding planning because of her knowledge as an event coordinator, great network of vendors, and honestly a sense of trust as well! Prior to the wedding, Melanie made sure to check in with us on where we were in timeline and created a whole spreadsheet that catered to our special day. When we had a meeting with the venue, Mel cleared her calendar and made sure she was there to support us in asking the right questions and making it a priority to have a strong partnership with our wedding venue and caterers too! With her attending the meeting with us at the venue, she was able to identify areas where guest can hang out, photo ops for guest, area for the bride and groom, everything! For the rehearsal, I invited not only the grooms men and my bridal party, but my immediate family (which is like 30 people) and Mel was able to get everyone in order and understand what was expected for the actual day! She even had our wedding playlist ready for rehearsal, shared with the party on where to hold bouquets, put everyone in order for ceremony, and share tips when walking down the aisle. Now on the day of the wedding, let me tell ya.. IT WAS PERFECT! In the getting ready room, Mel had champagne and boutiques ready for the bridal party, beers for the grooms men, got the flower girls ready, checked with all vendors on setup and arrival times, moved me in and out without being seen by guest, kept us on time, and made sure I as the bride and groom were always taken cared of and if anything happen, that they were able to solve it, and more! It was really such a beautiful day and what we wanted! Which was for our family to have a good time and for us to remember it as well! I'm really appreciative of Mel b/c the wedding industry can be really intimidating and you never know what your getting yourself into, so to have her expertise and a sense of security really went a long way! Last comment! I originally thought I can plan this wedding all by myself, but now I give the advice with GO WITH A WEDDING PLANNER/COORDINATOR because you as the bride should be present on your special day and Mel understands that! I can't imagine the anxiety I would have if I was the go-to person on my wedding day for everything, so again..I'm very grateful for this experience!!

My husband Jeff and I hired Melanie as our day of wedding coordinator and she went above and beyond leading up and on the big day. We loved working with her! Leading up to the wedding Melanie walked me through everything step by step, the timeline of the big day and how things were going to get done. She also made great suggestions of things to consider we didn't think about because I had no idea what to really expect/do as this is my first time getting married and being part of a wedding. (Hopefully, the only time I'll get married haha) She is very organized, detailed oriented and hands on which made this whole process seamless, less stressful and fun for Jeff and I. One word. WOW. I've never worked with an event planner before but I knew that I needed help with my first baby shower. Being pregnant was already a lot of stress but Mel was extremely helpful and intuitive. I told her exactly what I wanted and she was able to help me execute my vision. Not only did she provide plenty of suggestions when planning my party, she helped me secure a venue, reach out to vendors for decorations and desserts, plan baby shower games as well as host them. Everything turned out wonderful and I cannot thank Mel enough. It was such a great experience working with Mel, I decided to reach out to her again for my baby's 100 day celebration. Mel was amazing! We were referred to Mel by one of my other wedding vendors who is very well connected. Our wedding was held at 2 different locations. Our ceremony was located at AC Hotel Oyster Point and reception was 5 minutes away at HL Peninsula. So it was a bit more complicated, but that was not a problem for Mel's team. The hubs is a really good planner, but he never planned wedding before. and we needed a great team to execute on the day of our wedding so we chose to go with the month of coordination package. Not only did Mel gave us a lot of pointers in planning the wedding, she also made us feel like we're not alone in the process. She was always available to answer our questions, and there to guide us during our lost moments. We are so grateful to have Mel and her team execute our big day. there are a ton of behind the scenes stuff that I am not able to recognize the day of, and realized until after when the hub told me about it. It felt like Mel was my big sister looking out for me throughout my big day. She will be you hypewoman, your best friend, seamstress (she literally helped me with cutting out my mesh gloves because I decided last minute to go with a different look!), helped set up my champagne tower, placed party favors and menu on each plate, and much much more! Super happy with how the entire day played out. if I could do it again, I would book Mel again. Thank you Mel!!
If you are looking for a wedding planner for your wedding, EventsbyMC is the ONE. Melanie is the best in this business! She's organized, reliable, and always there when I had any questions. We had multiple meetings and finally finalized our timeline until Covid hit. My original wedding date was set for March 14, 2020 (literally 2 days before the world shut down due to Covid) but obviously we had to postpone it. Throughout the 2.5 years, Melanie was always in touch with me checking in if I had a date set. Two and half years later, my husband and I were finally able to have our wedding. By the time of our wedding day approached, everything was good to go such as timelines and vendors. We did make a few minor changes to the wedding timelines but Mel was quick, responsive and made the adjustments. I was super stressed like any bride would be but I can honestly say that it was as a smooth as I could've imagined it to be. If your looking for a wedding coordinator Mel and her crew are the one, there really good in what they do. Mel is a good awesome. She made it so smooth for Carlos and I during our reception. She made sure we are on time with our scheduled program and worked well with us when we need a break before we started again. She always made sure Carlos and I were doing ok and if we needed anything. We are really glad we got her as our wedding coordinator.
I was so glad we hired Melaine (Mel) as my wedding coordinator. We got married on a busy July 4th weekend in San Francisco. My ceremony and reception were far from each other and there was lots of traffic. I knew my wedding was going to be hectic and hiring Mel and her team was the best decision. Mel was able to answer a lot of my questions and listen to what I had to say. She was very organized and very detail oriented, so that my wedding day went smoothly. My wedding was so complex, 3 ceremonies all in one day! For one of the wedding ceremonies I only had 2 hours at the venue... which meant that set up, clean up, and the ceremony had to take place within that time frame. Melanie was so organized and thought about every little detail. I could have not done it without her. She is so fun and easy to talk to, I loved working with her. Mel and her team (Shea and Nicole) were amazing!! I booked Mel for Day-Of Coordination services, but she definitely went above and beyond, starting with planning and coordination even months before the wedding! Mel came highly recommended by my videographers (Stillwater Wedding Films). We had multiple planning phone calls starting months before my actual wedding day (which was awesome / I don't think other "Day-Of" coordinators do!) We had a huge 240 guest count Filipino wedding. My cousins were my wedding planners, but needed a lot of help with day-of coordination and execution. Our timeline that Mel came up with and helped execute gave us time to enjoy our wedding, while still having everything we wanted at our wedding (e.g. photos with family and friends, speeches, the infamous Filipino money dance, mother/son and father/daughter dances, sunset photos, an outfit change, cake cutting, late night snacks, and more!) Mel and her team were professional, caring, and supportive, assisting with any needs! Mel and her team's enthusiasm to help did not go unnoticed, and my family enjoyed working with them! Melanie was amazing from start to finish! She truly went above and beyond -- even helping me find a decorator after my original one ghosted me. From that moment on, she made the entire process feel easy and stress-free. She really took the time to understand my vision for the reception and turned it into a seamless plan. You can tell she's incredibly experienced -- she offered helpful input and suggestions that made everything flow perfectly, yet still made sure I felt in control of every decision. The day of the wedding, she was professional, calm, and super easy to reach. With her and her two assistants handling everything, the day went so smoothly that we actually had time to enjoy ourselves and dance the night away. If you're still on the fence about hiring a day of coordinator, YES, you need one, and Melanie is the one you want. She was an absolute lifesaver and key in making my wedding day perfect. I consider myself a planner, but I realized that I needed an expert to make sure my wedding day would be as stress free and seamless as possible. (Emphasis on stress free) Melanie and her incredible team stepped in to make sure everything I wanted came true. From our first meeting, she took charge and helped me organize every detail I hadn't even thought of. I only had 5 months to plan everything so I was relieved when she provided me with a comprehensive list of her preferred vendors for everything - from DJs, hair and makeup, to decor, florals and desserts. She had it all! Her resources alone saved me so much time on research. The big day was packed with events starting with a tea ceremony at 9am. I can not thank Melanie enough - she is SO amazing! I booked her "Day of Coordination" package and My Husband and I were extremely happy with how our wedding day turned out. I was definitely one of those brides who thought she could take care of all the details herself since I had a smaller wedding - then I had a wake up call when I spoke to Melanie. When we met for our consultation, I instantly felt comfortable - she was professional and not only showed attention to detail, but asked questions to get to know me and to understand my vision for my day. She was super attentive in the weeks leading up to the wedding and made sure to connect with my venue and vendors. She even went above and beyond when I had a last minute table addition to my layout by stopping to get extra flowers and decorations to ensure it looked seamless with our design. First of all Mel is amazing!! When my husband and I started planning our wedding we planned on doing something small and intimate and of course that idea went down the drain and before we knew it it was something we (I) knew we couldn't handle on our own. Mel was my coworker at that time and I knew of her helping another person with their wedding so I asked if she could help and unfortunately she would not be in town the weekend of our wedding but thankfully she did agree to help with coordinating everything and having someone fill in for her the day of. She was such a big help in making sure everything was set up and ready for our big day. We had a few meetings to go over everything that was needed she was able to make it to the rehearsal the day before and although she was not there the day of I trusted she left us in good hands and we had nothing to worry about. We really enjoyed our wedding day and it was all because we had an amazing wedding coordinator! I truly believe I would have absolutely not enjoyed our wedding day and would have been stressed if it wasn't for her help. She is absolutely amazing and I could not recommend her enough!! read more
