Server was very nice and even suggested for us to order the broccoli cheddar poppers! Very good appetizer, super cheesy! I had ordered the spicy garlic parm, and it was delicious, but very spicy. Unfortunately, the server seemed to always be hard to reach, or if we asked for something, it would take another 20-30 minutes to get. For example, asked for an apple juice for my goddaughter and didn't receive it until 20 minutes later (mind you, it wasn't busy at all!) Overall, the wings are good and very delicious, but service needs to improve.

The wings are breaded, crispy, and the sauce takes them over the top. The fries have bite, and they're golden brown. But all of this pales in comparison to the incredible service. One woman is working hard running the front of the house and take-out while the cook runs the kitchen in the back. Two people are absolutely rocking the place. My only gripe is the bathrooms need a bit of a helping hand, the toilet paper ran out and they need some cleaning. I really love the wings here and I'll be back for more!

I love Sunset Grill. For a brief second, I had thought about going right. Instead, I stuck to my gameplan and went left. The place was empty just before 2 pm. I decided to dine in. There were plenty of booths and NCAA basketball games were on all TVs. My server was great, but perhaps too chatty. He told me that they were short-staffed and that he was working extra hours. Um, okay. I got a menu and took a look. I went with the single deal, which is a pound of wings (you choose one flavour only), with fries and veggies, and a can of pop. I didn't see the fries and veggies part until my server let me know. So, his chattiness did help. He also let me know that this place has been open since December 2018. I asked for gravy for the fries. It was going for $2. I was game. I also went with garlic explosion for my wings. I got my food pretty fast. He also came back with napkins and cutlery, as they were missing at the table. The wings were hot, crispy, and packed with flavour. I loved the garlic explosion so much that I ended up dipping my fries in the gravy, and then rolling them in what was left of the garlic explosion mix in my basket. So good! The gravy was delicious! It came piping hot and made regular fries a ton better. The veggies consisted of one carrot stick and one celery stick. If you are looking for a serving of veggies, you aren't getting them here. It came with ranch dressing, which was good. The garlic flavour lingered in my mouth for nearly two hours. It's a good sign of deliciousness for me. Sure, you will die if I breath on you, but that's a risk that you may need to take. The server had obviously worked more hours than he should have. He let me know that he was leaving and apologized for perhaps looking unprofessional. I completely understood and his heart was in the right place. The downside was the pass-off between this server, the guy in the kitchen, and the new guy taking over serving duties. I heard my server talk to the kitchen guy that I was in the dining area. The kitchen guy didn't tell the new guy. So, I didn't get any service. Instead, I went up to the counter and asked for my bill. I don't blame the new server taking over. He didn't know. There needs to be better communication between staff members, so that customers are not left hanging. This place accepts debit and credit cards, and cash. I paid with a debit card. The washroom is unisex. There is only one. It was clean and spacious. There were tons of hooks to hang up your jacket or purse, which I appreciated. I felt comfortable eating here. There were lots of games to watch and the booth was roomy. I'd come back here again. There were many folks ordering takeout. I chose the 17.99 salmon eggs Benedict and 2.99 bottomless coffee. I would have liked a hash brown style option but this was not available. My server then asked how I like to take my coffee and returned with only cream as I asked. My server was attentive without being obtrusive. She and the cook handled almost everything in the restaurant, and one staff seemed to be designated for prepping and maintaining the cutlery station. There was a steady stream of customers and I was able to savour and enjoy my meal. The music volume was mid range, enough to mostly cover other conversations but not jarring. There doesn't appear to be any Wi-Fi for customers. No signs anywhere and the network needed a password which definitely was not made readily available. Overall I really enjoyed my treat. At over $27 with taxes and tip it's more than we pay for an extra large pizza with 3 pop, but it was certainly warranted. The fries were fresh and hot, crispy and fluffy. I appreciated the slice of melon to start. The spinach was fresh and not overcooked. The salmon or perhaps the poaching water seemed to give a very slight vinegary taste in there somewhere, but I was super pleased about the restrained use of salt on everything. Just a nice little dinner with modest furnishings, clean environment and a very friendly server (young lady with purple hair.) The menu is basic breakfast and lunch... I was delighted to find a Monte Cristo sandwich with home fries on the menu. A rare find at most restaurants and possibly the best I've had... Not fancy but a perfect blend of French toast, Swiss cheese and ham. Absolutely loved it! Not much more to say really... A great choice for a reasonably priced breakfast, friendly service and yummy food. Give them a try if you find yourself in the area.

So yeah anyways I'm there and I'm like "hey buddy can i get a quick line of Mayo" *Squirts Mayo "and can I get a quick line of honey mustard" *Squirts honey mustard "a fat line of BBQ *Squirts BBQ "a slight bit of mustard *Squirts mustard "aaaand lets go with a line of ranch" the guy looks at me before he squirts the line of ranch and says "We charge an extra 50 cents per sauce after putting two sauces on the sandwich" I looked at the guy and said "since when does subway charge for extra sauces?" The guy replied "We charge for extra sauce here" So i asked him where on the menu it says that they charge for extra sauce and he just kinda mumbled a little bit and just repeated himself in saying they charge for extra sauce. I was pretty aggravated at how he decides to mention this hidden fee after decorating my award winning sandwich with 4 sauces already. I was ready to tell the guy to start my sandwich all over again if thats the case but im not a fan of wasting food so i said whatever and paid him the extra dollar.
