I hadn't been here in a long time. I usually go in for fish and chips. They used to have a soda fountain tap with root beer A&W but that's long gone. This time I just came in for a root beer float. Let me tell you that float was delicious. It tasted just like an old float I would've gotten at the old five and dine Woolworths with the spinning seats. I miss those days. This is just so incredibly unacceptable! This situation happened around two and a half weeks ago, and I am finally able to recover from this. I was in the drive through trying to get a chicken meal after a long day from work and I asked for hush puppies and I got told no. I would have understood if it was because they were short or something, but when I asked I was told by the guy in the drive through that it was because "he said so and this is my store". I was furious. After I told him that that made me upset, he wouldn't let me talk and he just started yelling at me saying, "what are you going to do about it cocky guy". Along with treating me and saying that he was going to fight. He just kept saying it over and over again until I said I was going to come inside and talk to the manager. When I when in to the store I was greeted by the manager who I was told was name irrland, she was super sweet and understanding and told me that the guys name was angel. Now this isn't the first time I have heard that from Angel kid, he is genuinely one of the worst workers and is just straight up rude to everyone from what I can see. Last time I heard of him, he was in the kitchen and yelled at some person from what i remember being named lindsy to "shut the hell up". I mean how could someone even treat another coworker like that in a stressful situation? I don't understand how that guy could still be hired at the store and just be let loose to treat customers that way he does. I am extremely disappointed at what long John silvers has become and I won't be coming back any time soon. This is so unprofessional. read more

Okay, apart from the need for renovations inside the restaurant dining area, this location is pretty good! Our food came out maybe 5-10 minutes after we ordered it, but to be fair, there was a long drive-thru line and it was in between lunch and dinner (they might not have expected the sudden rush). I don't mind waiting for food...sometimes food that comes out *too* fast is suspicious. Unfortunately, the root beer tap is either just for looks or was under repair...I was a little sad about that. At any rate, the service was friendly, the food tasted great, and we left very satisfied. read more

I'll never be back. Between waiting 17 minutes in the drive thru (just ONE car ahead of me!) and paying nearly $8 for a shake and a pathetically small order of overcooked cheese curds (10 curds and three crumbs), this has been the worst fast food experience in quite a while. The drive-thru menu advertised the Cheese Curds at $1.69, but apparently that was just the up-charge if you ordered them as part of a combo meal. There was no price that I saw listed just for the curds themselves. Very devious and misleading! read more

Nasty dirty restaurant, sticky floors and counters workers in there touching and handling food with no gloves and one employee had like 10 inch fingernails! Just completely disgusted, we didnt even eat the food so wasted money money! Plus I'm allergic to pickles and asked for no pickles but I had pickles! Also had to wait forever to get food and no one was even inside, had to repeat my order three times and it was still wrong! Very very unsanitary here!!! read more

Literally the worst service and longest wait time I've ever experienced. Two people in front of me at line pulled away without their food after ordering because no one would come to the window. The younger Hispanic girl is completely incompetent and acts as if doing her job is inconveniencing her. There are plenty of people in this city who are desperate for a job and would be thrilled to work at a place even as shitty as this one. I hope they go out of business and they build a Culvers here instead. read more

Why can't we give half stars? This place is slow, lousy greasy food, and overpriced. When you order a bowl of soup, it's only half full. The fish left a slippery greasy feel on the plate, my hands, and basically everything it came in contact with. We easily waited 20 minutes for our "fast food". Corn on the cob was brown. Not even joking. The burgers had hard crunchy buns, and not in a good way. Sadly, we won't be back. $28 for 3 people was crazy at any place that also has a drive through. read more

1:00 Friday they were busy and overheard an employees say they were short staffed an it would be 10 min. At the drive thru. The counter where I sat was sticky the trash needed to be taken out. And the girl who took my order was overwhelmed. One customer asked to see the manager and the girl said she had been trying to get a hold of a manger and even regional manager for a while. The fries were not good. They were barely warm and soggy. I own a restaurant and as busy and backed up as they were, everyone should have been receiving fresh crispy fries. The root beer out of the fountain had an off putting flavor so the mixture is off in order to extend the life of the syrup that makes the drinks. If your A&W your root beer had better be great! It wasn't! That's pathetic! The hot dog was ok at best. The bun seems stale the chili was runny and from a can 100%. The dog was rubbery and they barely put any onions on the dog. To top it off there was no mustard on my Coney Dog?!! I paid $7.00 for my meal. For that price and the amount of food. It should have been done right. I think the management is fecklessly incompetent. I will not be going back and will certainly inform others to stay clear as well. read more
