The pork quesadilla for my partner and the half pound burger for me. Our conversation was casual after our ride to Galena today and the 80's-90's radio station it well with this comfortable bar-restaurant. The drinks were great, our soups and appetizer were perfect and our meals hit the spot. We had a great relaxing meal. Drinks and meals each really around $40 each. We'll be back.

Placing our order when we got the drinks was perfectly timed. I had the Roadkill with the mushrooms and onions on top, a side of baked potato and salad with bleu cheese. This salad is the perfect size for an entire lunch salad. Eggs, cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, red cabbage and croutons! The bleu cheese dressing was thick, creamy and delicious. Others at our table had the early bird deals with pulled pork and 6oz tenderloins. I always take half my dinner home for the next day and there's so much pulled pork, it makes an additional meal as well. Drinks were refilled in a timely manner and to-go containers were brought as well. We did use the kiosk to pay but we always use a custom tip since it isn't accurately calculated, pre-tax, for their estimates. My only complaint is how loud it gets when they do their dance... not just the music (which you can't talk over) but the clapping. It reverberates so much that I actually had to cover my ear that was facing them, as it started hurting my ear with every clap. I have never noticed that issue before but this was the first time we were seated in the bar area, just next to where they do the dance. Found out later that tonight was also a donation night, wish may explain some of the crowded night. Fabulous service and was well stuffed when we left.

Smoked 1/2 chicken is tasty but only about the size of a 1/2 Cornish hen. Serving it on a large sheet pan makes it look even smaller. Eating it on parchment paper with a knife and fork means you're also eating the parchment paper. Coleslaw is awesome. Ribs are too. No children size portion which means the lowest price entree of macaroni and cheese is $18. NOTE: Dinner for two adults and one child with only one fountain drink was $80(+) before tip! Inappropriate for a casual BBW eatery. Macaroni & cheese is very tasty! Unlimited fountain drinks are a great idea. Suggest serving all entrees on the smaller size metal sheet pan for better presentation. Need a vegetable side - green beans for example. Corn bread tasted like a Jiffy mix. Honey butter tasted like regular butter. Please add jalapeño or something! We will wait a couple more months before trying it again. Hopefully it'll become a "keeper."
