We ordered on the app for dining in. It took quite a while before we got our order. Other who ordered after us (you can see the progress on the screen) got their food first. We got the teen burgers, onion rings and a drink. Food is good. The place is clean. The staff does go around cleaning the tables when customers leave. Unfortunately the washroom is not very clean. Also noticed many cars who did the drive through had to wait for their order as they were partially fulfilled at the pick up window. So it kinda blocked other cars behind them. They had to go around it which can be a tight squeeze if it's a big vehicle waiting or going through. read more

This is without a doubt the "BEST" A&W I have been at in a long time. The manager is the nicest girl and her staff are great. I enjoy the restaurant. it is clean ,bright and pleasant. I like Leslie one of the staff as she always greats me like I'm the best customer. There is a young fellow Steven that works on weekends that has been there a long time, he cleans tables and trays; one of the politest young people in the industry. Please keep up the good work, great food and wonderful atmosphere. The 200 Street A&W is my favorite by far. read more

I ordered a lettuce wrapped burger and fries that were extra crispy with onion ring seasoning. We received onion rings and the wrong burger with a regular bun. Not too impressed. It was also at the bottom of the order so we couldn't see it when we pulled away. read more

The food is excellent and is the best fast food beef burger place around. I'm not a big fan of their chicken burgers, but they're good as well. Fries are delicious. Of course, the A&W Rootbeer is the best rootbeer around. The prices are high, but they send out books of coupons regularly. The Langley location on Willowbrook drive is most often clean. I think they should spend a bit more time in the eating area tidying up and cleaning tables. The staff are great. They're pleasant and courteous. The only issue that I have is that they often mix up regular and diet rootbeer. They have the mechanism for noting which drink is diet or regular, but sometimes do not make use of the push buttons on the lids. While that isn't bad for everyone, people with diabetes or artificial sweetener tolerance issues will be affected by this. read more

What happened to A & W. Their burgers aren't fresh and they are barely luke warm the cheese is solid and cold. Not to mention the last time I went in there I waited 15 minutes for three teen burger meals and they forgot to give me my onion rings, by the time I noticed I was so frustrated by the wait that I couldn't be bothered to go back. After an underwhelming meal at a nearby Chinese restaurant, a number of us stopped by here to satiate our hunger. A cold glass of root beer, fresh chubby chicken sandwich, pipping hot fries and apple pie hit the right spot. The man taking our order was very pleasant and quick. Asked us if we wanted any ketchup and told us he'd be right back with the rest of order. A&W is on the pricy side of the fast food continuum, but it's absolutely worth coming here if you have coupons. Best of all, they accept expired coupons at all the Langley A&Ws. The employee who gave me this info also helped me find a combination of coupons to get the best discount on my meal. I always collect extra A&W coupons from my building recycling now so I have some on hand whenever I want to eat here! I find their staff to be always friendly and helpful. Gone are the day of Good hamburgers from a&w. They are going to have to do better than all that advertising saying how good they are. Hamburgers are always cold and most of time the fries are too. The Hamburger just doesn't taste good. They have changed the buns and the beef and the packaging. Did they change the sauces abd the cheese? Probably... The cheese is not melted anyways buy the time I get my burger. They used to toast it but that's when they actually cared what it taste like. Our whole family were long time fans. Went to this Particular A&W and left feeling dissatisfied.. The Cashier was friendly and was nice enough to make a recommendation for a limited time item instead of just going with what I ordered. So Great on that.. However when I got my food it was pretty tasteless like they didn't even bother to season the burger or onion rings. Plus the burger was old and kind of crusty on the bottom part, telling me it had sat in the warmer too long.. The onion rings didn't taste fresh as they were over cooked and pretty greasy.. Also the floor staff didn't even bother to ask any customer how their meal was or if everything was good. As a CSR and having worked the Fast food industry we were always encouraged to engage with the customers to make sure they were getting the best experience possible.. This is not the first time I have had a negative experience at this location, But I gave the benefit of the doubt and was not overly thrilled.. Sadly we made the mistake of placing an order in the drive through at the A&W on 200 St in Langley This was the worst service we have ever received, after waiting in line for 5 minutes to place an order in the drive through we were finally able to place our order at 6:03pm for 3 root beers, 3 burgers, 2 fries and an onion rings, At 6:19pm we finally made it to the window to pay, after the cashier took our payment and handed us our pop, he asked us if we would mind pulling ahead to wait for the rest of the order. At that point my husband said "no I'm waiting right here, I've already been here for more then 20 minutes". We were finally handed our food at 6:25pm at which time we asked for a receipt, the cashier lied straight to our faces and said it is in one of the bags. There was no receipt in the bag, I suspect they knew we were going to complain as would everyone else stuck in the drive through line. Over 25 minutes for standard menu items is unacceptable if I could give this establishment zero stars I would. We will not return to this place. read more

This is a true story of things that went wrong just one after another. I was here with my husband and a friend of ours at the drive thru on Apr. 5, 2014 just after 10 am. We had received terrible service. Ordered 3 bacon n' egger meals, 2 with root beer and 1 with apple juice. Got to the window, paid, and the girl at the till questioned if we had ordered a 3rd combo and we said that we did. We looked at our receipt and she had charged us for 2 combos and just the apple juice. It took her at least 3 minutes to figure out what she was going to do and she came to the conclusion that she was going to charge us for the amount that was forgotten. We paid, again, and received our food. We made sure to check the bag before we had left and sure enough there was a hashbrown missing, so we stated that to the girl at the window and we received the hashbrown with no problem. Everything else looked fine so we left. When we were eating our meal, our friend had taken a bite out of his so-called bacon n' egger, it was actually a sausage n' egger. Lets just say he had a few choice words as he despises sausage n' eggers (I don't blame him) and was looking forward to enjoying his bacon n' egger. I have worked as a server in the hospitality industry and comparing this to other situations, this is a terrible experience. Management of this location may want to go over training again with front of house staff to make sure that proper protocols are being used and that front of house staff make sure to repeat back orders to guests so you're minimizing mistakes as much as possible contributing to a better experience. So if you take pleasure in experiencing multiple screw ups in one simple order, this is your place to go! Enjoy! read more
