Not sure what seasoning they use but its really nice flavour. Might be a heavy compared to regular fries but definitely recommend the taters. As a chain I've a complaint that food is no longer the "inexpensive fast food" of former years... prices are on par to the expensive fine dining places now. I used to buy a quick meal once in a while just to save some time which was NOT the same as the times I was going out to eat as a special celebration. The gap between those two kinds of dining has closed. The days of cleaning the couch seeking change to buy a fast food burger are gone...

It's right off the highway, so it's pretty convenient. We got a double beef 'n cheddar sandwich meal with medium curly fries and a medium drink, a double beef 'n cheddar sandwich, two jalapeño roast beef sliders, and a container of extra cheese. The beef 'n cheddars tasted as we expected, though I always thought there was more meat in them. They're supposed to be double the classic, but maybe I'm thinking of the half pound sandwich? Either way, I never find there to be enough cheese, hence the order of extra cheese on the side (because I also like to dip the curly fries in them). We also said yes to packets of horsey sauce and Arby's sauce to add. Super messy and not the classiest meal, but delicious nonetheless. Glad I had wetnaps in the car! I panicked slightly when I didn't see curly fries on the menu, but rest assured they're still there. I was probably just too excited to read :) The fries were great and crispy, but I wish they filled it up just a bit more. I think I was just being greedy though, as there were definitely enough and it's been a long while since I've had them and wanted more. Glad I asked for the extra cheese because I used it to dip the slider, too. I enjoy the onion bun more, so the regular bun for the slider seemed tougher, almost stale, and wasn't my favourite. The jalapeños were grilled and chopped, not super potent and added just a hint of spice. I couldn't taste the Swiss cheese at all, and I think it would be way better if they just had the same cheese sauce, like a mini beef 'n cheddar but with jalapeños. They give you a cup to fill your own fountain drink, but there are no refills. There was no ice, unfortunately, but I filled it with Coke and just gave it to my husband for a little caffeine on the road, so I didn't mind the no ice haha! Once you're done filling it up, they give you a lid and straw. The washroom was clean, though it says only one person at a time and someone else came in while I was in one of the stalls (there are only two, one accessible), so I just waited for them to leave before washing my hands since it's such a small space. Service was great! Very friendly and I thought it was fast, but the cashier at the front apologized for the wait and I really only waited maybe five minutes. Takeout and drive through only, no indoor dining and the seating area is closed off.

The setting is a bit like a subway sandwich bar, where you order at the counter and wait for your order. This gives it a fast food chain feeling. It had some low chairs at tables, and some high cafe chairs against the counter along the wall and windows. We were alone when we started, but it got quite busy!! I wish some soups had been on display (although I was happy with what I got), and that the seating had been a tad more comfortable. I was expecting something more, but it honestly wasn't any better than what I could get from a NY Fries (actually I like the fries at NY fries better). On the other hand the cheeseburger was pretty good. I only read after that the King St location might be better. I guess I'll try that location next time, if I'm in Kingston, but I'll keep my expectations in check.

My french fry loving son, had no issues with his fries but skipped the chicken nuggets. My poor husband had to polish off whatever was not eaten by our kids after he ate his burger and poutine. I had the plantbased burger and I had no complaints. I will say their pickles are really great on the burger and loved their house sauce that came on it as well. Their fries are on the meatier side and I only ate a couple and passed the rest on to the kids, since the burger was pretty filling on its own. They had toy story playing on the tv in the restaurant. Super cute. It was pretty pricey coming to around $100 after everything was paid out. I'd probably come back for some apps and small bites in the future when visiting in town.
