Then I read reviews on Google and Yelp and found Desert Luxury and asked them to come by. Dan showed up and we spent a couple of hours talking about all sorts of things related to the pool business, and I decided to ask him to help refine the design and provide a price. I knew from all the research I had done what the market price was for a pool of the size I wanted, and their price was right on target. At this point, Pete took charge and ran the project and communicated each step of the way what would be happening and when. From that point on it was smooth sailing all the way through the final inspection by the city. I expected a number of problems and delays to pop up, but the only issue that slowed the work was the amount of hand digging required to deal with all the rocks in the soil. After some quick online research, I knew that this was not safe for swimming. I proceeded to call multiple pool companies to see if anyone could do an emergency service. Since it was a Sunday evening, almost no one picked up. And the two people who did said they couldn't come. Fortunately, I was able to talk with Priscilla at Ortiz Pool service. She was extremely accommodating and asked for pictures of the pool. After I sent them, she quickly responded that she could send a person out to us within 90 min and gave us an accurate quote for service. The serviceman, Julian, was extremely professional and took care of the problem quickly. An hour or two later, we were all enjoying the pool. Ortiz pool service saved our trip!
