It a/c system starting to having issue again after 2 days I called them back and they came out again. When inside the house the technician kept calling the boss and confuses, stated I need an Freon and color dye to test for leak, but why they didn't do it for the first time instead of double charge. This time another $483 now total about $1000. I was quoted to replace the coil which is $4339 which is one year warranty. I'm sure they're scamming me for the truth. I called another HVAC my neighbor referred me. They came out with no charge inspected my HVAC unit from the leaks got a complete install for 10 years warranty for $1466. They came out within a week later with the coil and installed professionally done. Fayette Heating & Air wanted $4339 compared to $1466 it's a big scammer Fayetta. We woke up to our house being 59degrees and the furnace not working. Tyler W. Was able to make it…read moreout before lunch time and was a great help! Customer service was absolutely fantastic and Tyler W. was accommodating and gave us clear explanations as to what was wrong. We received a text message with a picture of the employees so we knew who to expect and what they looked like. Arlinghaus has to send another worker out to discuss prices on a new furnace. Tyler was able to get our furnace working temporarily as we look into buying a new furnace. It cost $89 for him to come out and diagnose the problem. They will remove this from any extra work they may need to do. Unfortunately, in the end we could not afford even the lowest option they had for a furnace. They use a top furnace line brand and are more expensive then the national average. This was the only draw back for me that it was to expensive and I did not want to enter into a loan for a $7,000 furnace when the average homeowners pay is $3100. Regardless, they were transparent and did not pressure me into anything we didn't want to do. I highly recommend Arlinghaus for their professionalism and honesty with their customers.

Needless to say, their repair hasn't held. The pvc piping they installed won't even stay together. It only held for a few months and then just came apart-- leaving us with having to have a bucket beneath the sink. I'm just frustrated enough to write this updated review now because I have to pay to have another plumber come out to fix their work. These people are predatory and unprofessional. Would not recommend. What would've been nice is if the owner of this plumbing company saw the invoice number on my receipt in the last post and tried to reach out-- but he didn't. Instead he implied that we didn't even have his company service my mother's home. Having integrity in your business -- owning a job and its result means something.

We bought an $18,000 A/C unit from them 3 years ago and in the past 5 months, the boards have blown twice. The first time this happened, a tech came out, diagnosed the issue and had it fixed in 48 hours. Last week it blew again allegedly for a different reason and the "parts were ordered". So my elderly parents did Labor Day weekend in 90 degree temperatures inside. Having to sleep in 90 degree air after an $18,000 purchase is ridiculous. No one should be treated this way. It's been a week and all we hear when calling is "the parts have been ordered". Last time it took 48 hours to fix it, now it's been a week and do you know what ETA they gave us on parts being in? It'll be 3 more weeks before parts are likely to be in. Additionally, when the manager we spoke to learned about the situation, his first reply was that he didn't have A/C as a kid... not sure how that's relevant but I can take a guess as to what the intention was behind the remark and that's extremely unprofessional. Guests are coming to stay for several days and they'll have nothing to offer those guests but a stuffy room. This really is the bottom of the barrel service. To our knowledge, the techs that have come out are good at what they do, professional etc, but there's always an upsell and the product quality and management is an embarrassment. I will be recommending Arlinghaus heating and cooling from now on and the next unit will be from them.
