Being an AZ resident,…read morewe get approximately annual AC services, so we have LOTS of satisfactory services in the past. The HVAC Tech was called out to replace a motor, a rather simple service. The Tech failed us on this service in the following ways: left the wires exposed (in violation of the company's own policy), swapped the motor in a way that left the threaded bolts banging against the fan blades (potentially damaging the blades), removed/discarded the HVAC cap without the home owner's permission, & was abrupt, completely disregarding our concerns about the safety of exposed wires in an area adjacent the kids' backyard playground. The Tech came out several times to fix his mistakes, but then became obstinate. After going round and round with Brenovations' management and eventually the owner, they also gave up because the Tech absolutely refused to come back. So unless you want service from a company that: fixes HVACs in a way that could cause more damage, violates its own policy, takes property off the job site without the home owners' permission, disregards safety concerns of children, and has no backbone to stand up to their own techs, then we suggest you stay far away from Brenovations HVAC. To make matters worse, Brenovations HVAC has completely given up on the service: leaving us stuck where we started with an incomplete job and hazardous situation. After all the work, frustration, and lost hours, we are nowhere closer to resolving the failure of the original service, making Brenovations literally "the worst" AC company.

I have their spring/fall check and has kept me from problems, I'm sure, till this year. Had to have a major clean out which was quoted as $507 but ended up at $405. My fault as I am not good about changing filters regularly. They call and remind about the checkups and on the day they call and say he is on his way. Because they are close, i can usually count on being the first stop of the day. Everyone is nice and easy to deal with. Pricing is very reasonable. They now have at least 3 of my neighbors as customers due to my recommendation. They are a small company and dont advertise on tv like all the big ones who charge thru the roof. Give them a try.

We had a shower go out in a guest bathroom on a Saturday and Picture Rocks Cooling, Heating &…read morePlumbing, was recommended on a Tucson community page on Facebook. We contacted them and they were prompt to send a service tech out to look over the issue. After the assessment, replacing the shower body (valve and cartridge) was necessary. Plus having to cut into either the tile and/or the drywall to get to the pipes, would be an additional cost with their contractor between $200-400. Because we thought we could replace the shower/tub set fixtures and cartridge ourselves, we bought the entire kit at Home Depot for the fraction of the cost they wanted to charge us for the set. Picture Rocks told us they would start the repair that morning and would have to come back that following Monday to complete the repair. Their estimated price was $1650 without the contractor's price. However, they were giving us credit for the set we purchased but they couldn't warranty it only their labor which was understandable. I called a family member who is a licensed HVAC and Plumbing company owner in Phoenix. To make sure we were getting a fair cost, he told us they were charging us way too much to replace and install the entire shower body. His company charges for that type of installation up to $800 with no issues. He was taken back by the estimate and told us to find another company. Needless to say, we found a fair, licensed and knowledgeable Plumber here on Yelp. We waited on his estimate and to our surprise, his price was significantly lower and in the same range of what our family member stated. Minus the dry wall repair, which we can do ourselves due to being a small square cut out and the price was fair. Therefore, due diligence is necessary in getting a fair price, even on a holiday weekend (Easter). Don't go with the first recommendation, in a long run, this will save you money.
