We recently bought an RV from Keith Palmer at Bob Ledford's Adventure Motorhomes. The experience…read morewas great. Due to the economic shutdown associated with Covid, there were numerous problems with even seeing an RV like we wanted. Keith found one and got us in to see it. He was great to work with in selecting the equipment we wanted, as well as working with a price for the unit. The same great attitude was present with several people we came in contact with. The finance guy was super easy to work with. No nonsense. On one occasion we stopped by and a saleswoman took us through our newly arrived RV even though it was pouring rain outside. We spent several hours with a technical guy who went over all the details of the vehicle... They did an excellent job in prepping the coach for us. As we picked up the vehicle, we also did some shopping in their in store shop. There are a number of things that you need before heading out and these guys have several choices of each... Very convenient. We have had it out once and have a very few items that need adjusting. They have set up an appointment to drop it by and have all the bugs fixed.

After a couple of hours was told unit was now ready. When they installed hitch it was later found to be installed incorrectly. After I got it home found that the landing gear motor was defective. Had to use a floor jack to unhitch. After that went on roof and found sky light had dry rotted and needed to be replaced. Then checked water heater and anode rod was deteriorated. Sales person said they would mail a new one but it never came. Wanted a lift kit installed but they said part was back order and would take three weeks. Went to upstate rv solutions and it was installed in 2 days. So won't be doing any future business with Bob Ledford rv. Maintenance supervisor is a joke. They made me finance the rv that I wanted to pay cash for. Sales guy said pay it off the next day he didn't care. No trust in this dealership. Lost me as a customer.

While inspecting, they saw my refrigerator limit switch was missing, I researched and found this could be a fire hazard, so they ordered the part and installed it. Their rates are really reasonable and it was a pleasure doing business with them. If in upstate SC and need repairs, they're just off I-26 in Campobello. Only downside is on motorhomes, they don't do chassis work, only the coach.

Went to these guys for a quick road worthiness assessment on advice of a friend. The service representative was dismissive, non-helpful and reminded me several times that this was not "Walmart". I told them upfront I would like to ride it because I have no idea if I even would like it- Where every other business would had just left me standing there or would had told me- no test drives before purchase- they handed me the key, told me a good route to go and even said- ride it as much as you like. Who does that nowadays? I really liked it but I still was uncertain, as yeah- it's a lot of money to waste if buyer's remorse sets in- so I told them I'd like to sleep over it and see, if that's really what I want. No problem- they where not mad, even happy that I didn't make the decision lightly. The next morning I called them and told them that I take it. I came right after lunch- the bike was serviced and ready to roll. The whole process lasted maybe an hour, where everyone else would waste your whole day. I received a very detailed explanation of the price, the cost and also offered a great coverage warranty- which I also purchased. I went home to get the truck and picked it up the same day. Awesome. The best buying experience I ever had in my life, where they really want you to be happy genuinely and not just because they want your money. Also the bike is awesome and reasonably priced in the market. Thank you so much and Ol' Red's has a new customer for a long time.

Unfortunately, a deposit had already been taken on the bike before I left mine, but due to a mistake on their end, I was still allowed to place a deposit. I received a call the next day letting me know the bike had already been sold. Up until that point, everything was going smoothly. What's frustrating is that instead of trying to make the situation right, Travis (the manager) focused on explaining why he couldn't help with pricing on a different bike--despite the situation being the result of their error. To make matters worse, after I received a lower offer on a second bike from my salesperson, the price was then raised via text message. That kind of inconsistency only added to the frustration. It's disappointing, especially considering I was prepared to spend significantly more money, and I work for a dealership group myself--if we made a mistake like that, we would at least make an effort to take care of the customer
