Horrible product placed on a large home window. Brian came back to look at it and agreed it was faulty. It left bubbles and cloudy spots which looked horrible. I left several messages but Brian would not return calls to schedule a replacement. Don't use this company. There are much more professional companies in the area. read more

Requested quote for auto tinting via online few days ago. No response yet. Tried to call today to see if received my quote and to get an estimate but phone just rang and went to voicemail. I am trying to figure out why businesses are so unreliable these days. You have to run a marathon just to get a call back from people. #1 pet peeve of mine. Customer service is a PRIORITY for me and if you don't call me back within a 24 hour period or reasonable Amt of time then I'm done with you and on to the next. I don't like excuses. I got a new truck for work and one of the first things I wanted to have done was get the windows tinted. I set up an appointment with Brian and everything went great. I set the appointment for first thing on a Monday morning and he was right on time. He took care of my front windows and placed a stripe on the front windshield as well. Itint on roper mountain I do not recommend! Almost lost all my bearings on Brian! The most disrespectful, unprofessional, customer service I have EVER dealt with. No accountability just a "it's a 12 year old car not my problem attitude." Then when he fixed his tint mistakes and brought the car out continues to antagonize pointing out dry rot on the OUTSIDE of the car like that makes it better that he broke the INSIDE of the door. Brian if I could use a few choice words for you I'd probably catch a charge. You just better hope I don't have to bring it back for that lifetime warranty bc I'm gonna be more of an asshole than you were today! And I only gave you 1 star so I could post this. read more

Brian came out right away to quote on residential window tinting. Showed me options, measured and sent me quotes via email. I was planning on getting the most expensive option and if he could come down on price any. He then emailed that he underestimated by 30%, so no he couldn't do better on price. Several follow up emails from me (was still planning to do it) and no response from him. STAY AWAY - if he is that unpredictable before he gets the job, that doesnt bode well for reliability and service in the future! read more

I decided to go with iTint because several of my co-workers were happy with Brian's work, plus he did several of the cars in our showroom where I work and they looked great. BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!! Once the job was finally done (should have been done by 5-5:30pm but he was just starting at that time so I waited...took 3 hours), I could see bubbles and streaks that didn't go away even after a week. The tint on the driver window started to peel up from the bottom and when I told Brian about it (on June 8th) he had an attitude and said that he didn't have time to fix it because he had big commercial jobs to do over the next 3 weeks. We scheduled a time on June 27th at 1:30pm. I texted him 5 days before the appointment to be sure that he was aware that I just wanted him to remove the tint and refund my money because at this point I felt that he was very UNPROFESSIONAL and I didn't like the way he was treating me. I got no response from him until a few hours before the actual appointment time and he said that he wasn't going to be there but I could drop it off. I left the car and returned at 5:30pm and he had not even started. He was actually in his car and looked like he was going to leave. He ripped the tint off my windows with such force that I could see the driver window flexing and I thought it was going to break. Once he was done he was refunding my $240...OR SO I THOUGHT!!! He actually kept $60 for removing the tint!!! He never said beforehand that he was going to keep any portion of my money for "fixing/removing" his own work! Then he actually told me that I was "$40 in the positive" because everyone charges to remove tint!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As if that wasn't enough, he left so much residue on the glass that I had to pay another company $20 to thoroughly clean the windows before putting new tint on. I went to Tint Solutions because they tinted my Toyota 4 years ago and it still looks great. Even with the extra $20 that I paid Tint Solutions the cost was exactly the amount that I originally paid Brian, $240. I now have a lifetime guarantee on the labor from Tint Solutions and a manufacture warranty on the tint itself. So, I should have just saved the time, money, and aggravation and went to a company that I knew would do it right from the start! They left my car (Mini Cooper S) halfway on so by the time they got done, my battery was dead. They jumped it for me but right when I got in to leave my engine light came on (I bought the car six weeks ago, so nothing was wrong with it). I took it back to dealership to get the code read and they informed me my battery was gone. I then called Brian about it and told him what the dealership said, but his response was that "I need to do more research on car batteries", "they didn't kill my battery", and that I was "confused" on how cars work. The fact is, it doesn't even matter that much about what was the final straw for my battery. I understand that it dying that day in their garage could have just been a coincidence, and the jumping of it was the final straw. The part I am not okay with is how they treated me. They obviously don't care about their customers or the customer experience. They insulted me in order to make themselves look better. There are PLENTY of tinting places in Greenville, so if you're looking for a place just skip over this one. You can find a different place who does better work, and who you can trust with your car. I have dozens of friends in my car club (over 500 members) who are all needing their windows tinted, and iTint is where I will be warning them all of, not referring them to. read more
