I originally decided on getting their cheapest deal for my car windows. I mentioned that in a few weeks while filling out the paper work that after I'd be coming back to get my windshield tinted as well. The guy at the front upselled me so all my windows and windshield would be the same carbon which I was happy about and paid the extra $. I did this with him promising me that my windshield would match with the carbon in 50%. Windows were done. I only had to go back for a large bubble two days later which they fixed. Fast forward a few weeks to my next appt, I go in and the exact same front guy told me that they didn't make a 50% in the carbon matching my windows tint, that I'd have to go up in $ again to an even higher grade for 50% because the carbon only came in 45%. WHAT? If I went with the 45% it would be way to dark(I work 3rd so I drive to work at night). Despite me trying to communicate that 50% is the absolute darkest I felt comfortable with and was recommended from the get go by them, I kept being told it was the "same", 5% didn't make a difference. From the samples side by side there was most definitely a difference. I feel like I was taken advantage of and they kept trying to upsell, upsell, upsell me. I contacted the owner before even thinking about writing a review. Spent almost an hour on the phone with him, he was very friendly. He offered me a deal, that I pay what I was originally quoted and he'd do 60% in the highest grade they had since he didn't recommend 50% like his front guy recommended to me(smh) and possibly adding a strip. I was told to text him when I could made an appt. With covid and after a family loss, I sent a quick text later that week explaining it would be a bit before I would be able to make an appt, he responded telling me that it was no problem to text him again when I was ready. I messaged him two months later. No response was given so I resent the same text to Himalayas later. He finally sent a message saying he was on vacation and that he would contact me in a week or so when he was back which I understood and wished him a happy and safe time. It's now a week after when he said he was going to be back. I haven't gotten any calls or texts. At this point I feel like I gave enough on my part before reviewing my experience. I'm extremely disappointed. I would advise future customers to get promises and assurances in writing so they can't go back on their word. A costly lesson learned. read more
