It's my first time here. The bagel is hard, but the tuna salad is good. Nice ambiance and great service!

Keto wrap: high fat, low carb, and moderate protein! Love it.

Quite frankly, I think the owner's kind of a jerk. Always questioning my meal choices and making dietary comments to me- so unnecessary. But his wife is a doll. AND I love their bagels, especially the French Toast, a must-try toasted with cream cheese

Cracked pepper turkey & pepper jack wrap with that avocado generously Stacked!!!

I don't know why there's so many negative comments but the owner is a super personable and accommodating person who made my experience super quick and easy during this pandemic. LOTS of creative wrap choices. I'm pretty picky with sandwiches cus I get bored of them most of the time but this one had chipotle mayo- I'm a spicy lover. Had a kick from the pepper jack. Generous turkey and AVOCADO? Usually don't stack it but this one was full of it. Very cute place to stop buy for a quick wrap or panini cus there's a million choices with different fillings. It was also sweet that they put one table outside during covid so that people could still have a dining experience in some way :)

Simple convenient very good quality bagel shop . My mom doesn't like bagels at all but here she had 3 different kind . I couldn't believe it. We love the strawberry cream cheese also walnut with raisins . Fresh delicious bagels , wraps , paninis , sandwiches . And very good coffee .

This place has a great exterior and the interior looks the part as well. Problem was all around the experiecnce was not very good. Bagels tasted stale. French toast bagel is ok but everything tastes stale and a day old. I wanted so bad to like this place and I kept searching for that magical bite but it just didnt come. I even went back and ordered taylor ham egg and cheese on sesame bagel but again it was a fail. Not the best breakfast spot.

Linguini B: Rapid Review Renditions - Hearth and Tap…read more All hearth no tap, but could I tap? Not the question. I'm taken, don't be mistaken uhhh. And you're just gonna have to live with that. Kinderkamack. A king of all roads with the notion and the motion... it's provided love potion to the entire county. Early summer days. Luncheon. My lungs are filled with the piney air. Iago is a traitor, but my silence speaks more ample than ever in these moments. Oh how I enjoy the camaraderie but do miss the days of which I could observe rather than participate. Something soothing, suave and suggestive in my serenity. You'll never know about it, Brutus. Anyways. All hearth, no tap. But I've popped a guinny or two here so that's a lie in the more literal term of tap in this scenario. Those who know, know that Hearth and Tap is more than a dive bar. It's a gastropub, of which I've enjoyed from time to time. The food is good. They have good burgers. They have good other stuff. The interior is rustic. It's Smokey from the drizzle and sizzle of cigar smoke. The upstairs rooms are pretty chill. The patio is poppin' with businessmen, businesswomen and locals. Not that I take notice. Nor do I notice them eyeing me down from clavicle to popsicle. Get framemogged son. The moon landing was real and there's nothing you can do about it, narc. Moonmogged. Would be happy to go again. Will be happy when I do. Happiness overwhelms me consistently and so this isn't saying much. But nonetheless Horatio, my lovely and loyal confidant, I never lead you astray. Hearth and Tap, and Kinderkamck Rd are Linguini approved.

The empanadas would have been very good if cooked a bit longer since they were a bit gummy inside. The shrimp ceviche was served in red sauce and was absent of a decent amount of shrimp. It was tasty but more of a salsa rather than a ceviche. The rib special lacked the promise of the flavors of the chipotle bbq sauce that was promised and described in the menu -- the pork lacked flavor. The chicken Milanese appeared to have been deep fried in a fryer rather than pan fried per tradition. This made the thin slices a bit tough and chewy which was unexpected. Disappointing that I didn't listen to my server who tried to steer me in a different direction as he advised. We haven't been wowed here the last three visits but will give it another shot in a few weeks to see if things have changed for the better. Listen to your servers, people!!

I suggest you head towards the houses, away from town, if you can't find a spot. I've been anxious to try this place as the pictures look solid enough and reviewers thus far seem content. My wife and I entered with plans to have beer and apps. We ended up getting Guinness, onion rings, fried calamari and the Cooper's Burger. You can't beat a 22oz Guinness for $8. The prices on their website also match what you'll see inside. Lately I find so many restaurants are charging more than they advertise online. Service was great, friendly and very attentive. I was also surprised to see how well they clean tables between customers. Spray, wipe table, wipe lamp, shakers, etc. It's totally clean for the next customer. There are only 8 or so tables in here, plus bar seating. We enjoyed some comfy seats at a high top table for two. The onion rings were great - crisp and battered nicely so they hold together. While almost a little overcooked, they were still good and better than I had at the last high end steakhouse I went to. The fried calamari was fairly priced and a good portion. It had a light crispness, though bigger pieces would've been nicer. They were mostly small, but certainly a lot of it. The accompanying marinara was good and plentiful. We got the Cooper's Burger cooked medium and it came out medium. It's a simple burger that comes with lettuce and tomato. Some red onion wouldn't been nice. They charge extra for all sorts of stuff you can get on top - fried mushrooms, fried onions, eggs, etc. It also comes with fries, which were good. Overall, it was a nice cozy time. Several middle aged couples ate here that night and a couple small groups. No loud bar crowds as they're all on central avenue. In fact, I was surprised how nice the acoustics were inside. You can hear people at your table no problem, can hear the music inside at the right level and don't hear a lot of background chatter or noise. I'd most certainly return if in the mood for pub food. And ... No credit card fee!

Most meals came out around 12:30, but one gluten-free order was completely mishandled. One person in our group did not receive their food with the rest of us. We waited over 20 minutes while everyone else ate, and by the time we were finishing, he had only been given a small side of eggs, his main dish (gluten-free French toast) still had not arrived. We asked staff multiple times, politely, and were consistently dismissed. No eye contact, no updates, no urgency. Our server was absent for long periods (10-15 minutes at a time), drinks were empty, and no one took responsibility for fixing the issue. By 1:10 PM, over an hour after being seated, the full order still hadn't come out. At that point, we had no choice but to ask for it to be wrapped to go, since the rest of us had already finished eating. The most concerning part was the manager's response. After calmly explaining the situation, there was no apology, no attempt to correct the experience, and no effort to take accountability. Saying "I'll talk to your server" and leaving it at that is not an acceptable response to a clear service breakdown. This wasn't just a delay, it was a complete lack of coordination, communication, and basic customer service. Mishandling a gluten-free order and then ignoring the table is unacceptable. The food itself was good, but the way this was handled reflects very poorly on the staff and management. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this location based on this experience.

The restaurant is very pretty overall, though the interior is quite dim, making it difficult to read the menu without additional light. The tables were also placed fairly close together. Our server was polite and welcoming throughout the evening. We started with the Korean fried chicken and tuna tataki. The chicken was moist and coated in a sweet and spicy sauce. The tuna tataki was flavorful; however, the taro chips were very thin and tended to break easily when holding the tuna. For our main courses, we ordered the Icelandic cod, rigatoni, Freebird chicken, and a side of whipped potatoes. Dessert was the hazelnut chocolate crunch, which was a nice way to end the meal. Overall, the food was enjoyable. That said, the pricing felt more in line with a fine dining experience, while the atmosphere and service were closer to an upscale casual restaurant. Some small details, such as the whipped potatoes being served without a serving spoon, stood out. While minor, these details can make a difference, especially at this price point.
