It is loaded with the kind of stuff I really go for, offers free water/coffee/tea/cocoa, and the owner Kathy was an absolute delight. I was completely enamored. Kathy's husband was busy bringing in merchandise for Kathy and it warmed my heart to see such a fantastic partnership. They love what they do, and that creates an atmosphere you shouldn't miss. I highly recommend a stroll through but plan an hour or so because the store is welcoming and inviting. I am almost sad to be the one to let the secret out but it's to good to keep for myself. When my daughter, grandson and I first walked in we were approached by an older Asian woman and I asked her if they buy books. She could barely speak any English except to say "Ask my daughter", who I assume is the owner. So, they except donations, no trade-in value or anything. That's fine, I just thanked her and proceeded to check out their inventory, which I really was not impressed with the book selections--they had a lot of miscellaneous stuff for sale also, that might appeal to some. The thing that bothered me though is that this Asian lady followed us around the store and kept asking me if I wanted to buy a book. Right up to the point when we walked out the door. The one thing that makes me leave a shop quicker than anything is a pushy salesperson! Also, I'm not racest-my grandson is half Chinese! Anyway, I just got bad vibes, and I probably won't be back.

I'd give no stars if it was possible I placed my order on 7/13 it's now 8/24…read more I reached out to them 2 days ago to please cancel my order and they responded saying they have a strict policy of not cancelling orders. They said they would submit my request for refund and get back to me. They also told me my order would ship today (which is also way outside of the 2-3 weeks window). That was 2 days ago. I reached out to them to follow up and as soon as I do that they print the label for my order which still HAS NOT SHIPPED. ALSO they posted on instagram not long ago saying they are way behind on orders so it's a little fishy that things get sped up when I want to cancel. Just be honest you are way outside your own shipping policy and I have ALL the receipts. Refunding me won't put you out anything because you still have the product. I have always championed black businesses but this one is full on 100% scammy. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM, they will give you a quoted time for delivery of 3-4 weeks won't say anything about it or be in contact with you and they won't ship your order until you complain. Their instagram even posted not long ago that they were behind on orders. If they're so behind they could have still refunded me. You could literally use the beads you were going to send me towards someone else's order that you're way behind on. It's not that you can't refund me it's that you just won't. The receipts are all here DO NOT BUY FROM THEM ITS NOT WORTH IT
