The initial inspector completely missed active knob and tube on the first floor--even writing "No active knob and tube seen" in the first floor notes section--and failed to report ungrounded fabric wiring. Though promised an estimate the next day, I received zero communication until I followed up 8 days later. Due to the missed hazards, they sent a senior technician. He also missed the ungrounded fabric wiring until I insisted he physically pull an outlet from the wall. This process lasted from late May into July. I never received a second inspection report, only another estimate. When I raised these safety and communication concerns, management took zero accountability. The financial controller only defended the initial 8-day delay, and the vice president deflected blame onto me and onto their own employee. I cannot recommend a company that misses critical safety hazards and responds with defensiveness.

So that is what I did. I was given a day and time for installation without a long wait. The electrician showed up exactly on time. When the guys, Randy and Jimmy, came out to do the work, they were awesome. Polite, efficient, and kept us informed every step of the way. They cleaned up after themselves, wore masks and practiced safe distancing. We made a few changes to what we wanted installed and they handled them within the scope of the work. We left msg with that dude several times, & he didn't even have the courtesy to return the call & say sorry, too busy! Anyway, Romano was one of 3 who returned our call. Chris wasnt able to come by the same day but said he would call us the next day. The other 2 electricans left us with a "I'll call you next week if I have the time to come by" vibe. Translates to; let me see how my cash flow is going, & If I need money, I'll go by. Not Chris! He called us back within 30 min of our original call. Apologized he couldn't make it that day, but would be here the next day by a certain time. AND HE WAS! Dressed neatly, worked neatly & kept the mess (dust etc) to the minimum. Cleaned his work area as he went along, realizing he was in a kitchen & sawdust didn't mix well with food. Worked quickly. The following day we realized another switch wasnt working. We called him back. He was a bit confused a moment bc he hadn't touched that circuit, but was determined to solve the mystery. Our house was built in 1850. Layer of ceilings covered old wires from several decades ago. He was able to trace the wiring & power without cutting a large hole in my ceiling. Just 2 small squares. He was able to find the short in the wiring & patched the ceiling quite well too. Chris will be my first call in the future.

A siding crew damaged a shutoff box outside and Peter came over that night (after hours) to deal with exposed wires to make it safe for us. He does quality work and we've been really happy with everything he's done here. He has installed new ceiling fans (not replacements), recessed lights, new lighting fixtures throughout the house, new smart technology, new outlets in the garage...the list goes on and on.
