Ace Hardware has been one of my many go to places when I need supplies to repair general items. I have often found specialized parts there enough that I stop here before I go to a more specific warehouse. I have found the staff to be friendly, knowledgeable and professional at all times. I have witnessed their customer service with others and they are fair and consistent. I also shop there for my personal repairs and find that if they dont have it they can order it or they can pull from other stores in the area. Dave (Store Manager) and the rest of the crew there always greet people and ask if they are in need of assistance. Try getting that at a big box store Ha! Good luck!

If I have questions, or need help, I know I can count on just asking them questions there in person, and leave with what I need. However... we need to talk about the 1 star experience with the young females you chose to hire lately, usually to work at the front desk. They have bad attitudes, and seem to have no product knowledge, they also seem to treat customers like they are somehow beneath them. I was struggling with my 2 year old during checkout the other day, and the cashier girl kept giving me bad looks like I was holding up her day plans or something. And I think her demeanor was a bit contagious for the customer in line behind me, because it ended up with me feeling a bit put-out at my favorite local Ace! So management. Forget the nearby big-box stores, I don't have the patience or the time to find what I need and before I even get to that point, I can never find an employee. These are firmly in the "tolerate" category. The smaller places, a mom-and-pop shop or even a place like Ace Hardware work well for me, seem to have what I need, and I can find an employee to help. These are the kinds of stores I like to browse through and find things I didn't know I needed. Who would have thought I'd need to exercise a budget restraint in a hardware store? Ace carries kitchen, grilling, and garden supplies as well as local merchandise like candles, soaps, and general knick-knacks, and a limited selection of clothing. When it comes to basics, I'm a fan of this Ace Hardware for being the antithesis of my experiences with the nearby big box stores.
