Got in and out of the inspection space in less than 15 minutes! You can also get JUST the inspection done or get inspection+registration sticker printed as well!!! It's a one-and-done place. I love not having to go on website and wait 7-10 business days for my car registration sticker to arrive. Wow! Definitely coming back.

It's a drive through location and you don't have to get out of your vehicle. You must have your updated insurance with you and they recommend cash preferably. I drove around for a minute due to the last time I was there, they were at a different spot in the shopping center. I was told that they moved 2 years ago, so that shows that I haven't been there for some time. They do change a $3 fee for using your card, so that is something to keep in mind. It didn't bother me, since I actually don't carry cash. I misplaced the green paper that is normally mailed to you, and you don't need it b/c they put up your information with your license.

MTZ had previously worked on her vehicle before. They do great work and in my own opinion they are honest than most places these days. Their mechanic talked with me in person. He told me the worse upfront, basically a new engine. The best hopeful news it was repairable, but they wouldn't know until they went through all the codes and take the engine apart. Basically at 165k+ miles the timing belt broke on the engine among other things. They also told me they recommended to replace the water pump before it went out since it was at the mileage. It a took about a couple of weeks for the entire repair. When I went to pick it up the day they said it was ready. The engine felt like new and to be honest it felt better than it did before. I am going to continue to use this shop for major mechanical needs.

AWFUL communication (had to call them every…read morecouple days to get updates), very rude unprofessional woman answering the phone- she never knew what was going on with our car and would say she would find out and call back but never did. They ordered the wrong main part for our car initially, charged us for labor to put on this wrong part and then charge labor again to put on the correct part weeks later. Charged multiple times for someone to come out to reprogram our cars computer but because they ordered the wrong part initially it wouldn't work, so they kept trying other unnecessary parts and calling out a reprogrammer guy every time (which we were charged for each time). It only really needed to be reprogrammed once if the right part was put on the first time. They also put on and charged us for another part we did not authorize. Very dishonest and disappointing. Owner would not come down at all on the $1600 bill. While initial issue seems to be fixed, there is a new light on the dash for a different issue and because of all the computer reprograms the stereo is not working now. Never taking any of our vehicles there again and I'll be telling everyone we know about our awful experience at MTZ.
