Chairs are the nicest I've ever seen in a nail shop. No awkward taped remote hanging from the side. HGTV was on. Went on a Thursday at 3:30, did have an appointment that I made only four hours before that and it was not jam packed. Front desk guy was cool under the pressure of running between chairs for technicians, keeping it clean in there, and running the front desk and phone. Polite guy. I politely said no and asked for something short and simple. His demeanor immediately changed--he lost the smile and rushed through my nails. The results were uneven, with each nail noticeably a different length. I didn't realize a square shape could be so difficult to get right. Still, I left a tip and went on my way. Unfortunately, one of my nails popped off the very next day. I returned to get it fixed and was greeted again by the same tech--friendly at first--but he was busy giving a pedicure in the back. A different tech at the front asked what I needed. I explained I was there to get a nail fixed but didn't know the name of the person who originally did them. She asked if it was "the guy in the back," and I said yes--only because I had just seen the same man at the pedicure station. I now realize she may have meant someone else from the back of the nail area. Then, a different male tech came over, glanced at my nails, and started speaking to another technician in his native language. I clearly heard him say "the guy in the back" while they laughed together--it felt like they were making fun of the situation, which was uncomfortable. They had me sit at a station for a long time. The tech whose station it was kept checking on me but never started the service. He kept pretending he had forgotten something in the back and left several times. I was on the verge of walking out just to avoid making a scene. Eventually, the original tech returned and reluctantly started working on my nails. He forced a friendly tone, rushed through the repair again, and walked off as soon as I was under the lamp. Once my nails were dry, I had to get up, walk across the salon, thank him myself, and then I left. This was not the experience I expected based on the good things I had heard. Sadly, I won't be returning.

She has always provided exceptional service and created such a relaxing experience that I genuinely hate having to write this feedback. I want to be clear that I do not blame her for today's experience. When I brought my concerns to the front desk, the responsibility was placed on the technician for overbooking herself. However, that was not the case. I called that morning to make my appointment, and it was the front desk staff who scheduled me, not the technician. I find it unacceptable that the responsibility was shifted to her when the appointment was made by the salon's own staff. I understand that weekends are understandably busier, but that makes it even more important for the front desk to manage appointments appropriately. Even if a technician has booked multiple clients, the front desk should be aware of their schedule and avoid overloading it to the point that the quality of service suffers. My concern is not about blaming an individual technician. It is about accountability, proper scheduling, and maintaining the level of service that keeps loyal customers coming back. My technician has consistently provided wonderful service, and I do not want this experience to reflect poorly on her. Unfortunately, this experience has made me consider taking my business elsewhere. I also feel that the salon's practice of offering additional discounts in exchange for positive reviews raises concerns about whether customer feedback is genuinely reflecting the overall experience. They have the manicures in the middle and the pedicure and other services on the side of the room. They also have a mini bar in the back of the room! They give you 1 free drink for your service!
