This was all done in a very timely manner. Even walked thru landscaping to find nails. They even returned my things back on my back patio area. Everything is done to their "code" of business of which none is better. They care and answer questions putting you at ease. They KNOW what they are doing and do it superbly. Don't even consider anyone else because in my opinion there is none better. Well my experience with the company started out pretty good. I need a complete insulation…read moreinstallation done in my 2 story house. I was referred to this company through a post on the Next Door app. After sending a request for a quote the evening of Thursday 5/10, I received a reply early the next day, which was Friday 5/11. After going back and forth over the phone and through a few emails, an appointment was made for the estimator (whom I had been in direct contact with) to come out "next Friday at 8am", which would be today, Friday 5/18. Not ideal to wait a week just for an estimate but I was happy just to get the process started. In the week from setting our appt, i never heard anything from the company one way or the other. I took today off of work, was up early and ready for the appointment.... no one ever showed up. About 915 I emailed the estimator whom I had been in contact with and who replied almost immediately the previous Friday.... no response. Still. It's now 1pm. I'm not going to call and beg for them to take my money and for me to be their customer. Pretty poor though. I guess I get to research more companies and try to start this all over.

I was in need of obtaining a quote to replace my water heater, so after a $3,600.00 quote from a…read moreCompany I don't wish to name, I continued on with "My Due Diligence" in "Search" of a fair market deal. As I scrolled through numerous Plumbing companies, I stopped at Shields Plumbing, located at 6009 Auburn Blvd Ste 100, Citrus Heights, Ca 95621. What caught my eye was that this Company had 131 Reviews, all 5.0's, which is impressive. It's impressive because I've learned over 60 years of living that humans love to "Complain", and that this Company had NOT 1 complaint, which communicated to me they have the recipe for success. I have a Masters Degree in Psychology & understand the psyche of people quite well. I called & spoke to Blaine McKelevy, the Owner of the Company. He was easy to talk to, listened intently, and asked if I could text him pictures of my old water heater & space around it, and for the old water heaters serial #, all of which I kindly provided. Blaine received the photos and within minutes provided me with a verbal quote over the phone, which was significantly less than the previous company's quote. I found Blaine even keeled, genial in nature, who definitely knows plumbing, but more importantly, his focus was on ensuring that our family received a fair market price for his company's services. We scheduled the replacement of our water heater the following day, and he sent Eduardo Cruz, Service Technician, to complete the job. Eduardo was on time, professional, thorough, kind, & kept me in the loop throughout, and took the time to answer any & all questions I had. It was evident Eduardo knew his stuff, heck, he could have done it blind folded (Joking of Course). His work was thorough & "Up to Code". In closing, it was evident that the owner, Blaine, is customer focused, provides more than a fair fee, and exudes integrity, a rare trait nowadays. He's cultivated a work culture that is consistent with his own personal & professional values, & Eduardo, carried them out by the exceptional work, where our family were the benefactors. As an ex professional baseball player, drafted out of college in the 21st round by the Detroit Tigers, I know a Solid Team when I meet one & Shields Plumbing has an All-Star Owner, and Technicians, and I couldn't be happier to give them 5 Stars, because they earned them! Thank you again Blaine & Eduardo.

I highly recommend Shields Plumbing, Eduardo and supervisor Blaine and would call them again for my next project.
