Couldn't recommend a better company. Called to help my grandmother in Mesa (I'm out of state) and they were there same day and took care of her springs so she could drive herself to her appointment the next day. Very friendly and easy to deal with in my situation. Fair price and EXCELLENT service l. Highly recommend read more

I accidentally backed into my garage door and thought it was going to be a huge, expensive hassle to fix -- but Always Open garage doors made the entire process quick, easy, and affordable. They showed up fast, gave me a clear explanation of the damage, and had the door repaired and working like new in no time. The technician Duke was professional, friendly, and didn't try to upsell me anything I didn't need. I really appreciated their honesty and the quality of the work. You'd never know the door was damaged. Highly recommend them if you need fast and reliable garage door repairs! Thank you! read more

I went to leave for a medical appointment when our garage door wouldn't open. I saw a broken spring. Always Open put a new motor in for us several years ago. I called them and they were out within an hour and replaced both springs. Friendly, prompt and professional service. I Highly recommend them. read more

This company is great! My garage door broke this morning and I was unable to open it manually. I had an important appointment to attend and Bennet arrived in about an hour to fix the issue. It was a broken spring and he had a new one installed in plenty of time for me to arrive on time to my appointment. He explained the issue and was very friendly and efficient in doing a great job. It was less than two hours from the time I called the company to the time the garage door was fixed. Highly recommend! read more

Although I was a bit distraught after hitting the garage door as it was closing automatically, this company came out, got the door closed for security and then replaced the door a couple days later. They did a fine job and the installer even blew out the leaves in the garage when they were finished. read more

These guys are amazing. Not only fixed my door but cleaned up my garage after. Great service great price. I'll never go anywhere else. Highly recommended. Scott D. read more

BAIT AND SWITCH: The owner gave me a quote on the phone and said the price will not change one bit when the tech arrives. The tech arrived and gave me a higher price and said that I was getting a deal with that. The owner said that he asked about the garage door size on the phone - I have a recording and he did not ask that question at all. He based the price on the spring size alone and did not ask any other questions. And then he gets upset that I do not trust his company to do the work (even if he would honor the price in the end) read more

BEWARE OF THE BAIT AND SWITCH. Called for repair and techs took a cursory look at my LiftMaster opener and told me "parts weren't available for a unit that old." They then proceeded to offer to install a new unit for $800 to $1000. Turns out LiftMaster sells the needed part, for $130. If A Always doesn't want to service older units, just say so up front. Save me the trouble of listening to your techs trying to con me into buying a new unit. read more

Always open garage is the best, most reasonably priced, professional garage repair company I have ever had. I used them a couple years ago to align my garage properly, then last Saturday they came to replace my whole garage opener, the track, the sensors , etc. The service was impeccable, the price was reasonable & I couldn't be happier w/ my new Wi Fi opener, keypad, etc. Bennet( a very, mature, young man) was my service tech, & I have to say he was exceptional in every way, his communication, his kindness, professionalism, & he left no detail unattended. Look no further, call Always Open Garage, you won't be disappointed. read more

Our garage door motor had been having intermittent problems opening and closing over the past month. Replaced the battery in our remote, but that did not solve the problem. Finally, the motor totally gave out and received several bids from good garage door companies which included Always open Garage Doors from our neighbors and best friends. Spoke to Mark and he provided a quote. He price was $450 less than the closest competitor. So, we set up an appointment with Mark and he said one of his sons would be taking care of the job for us. Today, Ray called to inform us he was 10 minutes out. Ray arrived at 8:30 this morning (the appointment window was from 8-10 AM) and introduced himself and went over what I had spoken to his father about. In just under two hours, he had installed a new LiftMaster 3/4 hp (our old one was a 1/2 hp LiftMaster), a new keypad and adjusted and lubed the garage door hardware. He also installed an additional wall button/opener as we have an additional side door that we enter our garage from and needed to replace the button already there as it wasn't compatible with the new LiftMaster motor. When Ray was finished, he programed two additional remotes as well as going over all of his work. He also showed us how to program our keypad and answered all of our questions. The new motor is has a soft start/close feature and is extremely quiet. Love that! I'll tell you what, Ray's one of the nicest and professional technicians I've ever met. Well done Ray! We offer a big thanks to Mark and his son Ray for providing us with a great overall experience from start to finish. Hook 'em! read more

They come out promptly, know what they're doing, fix the problem quickly and are reasonable.

One of my garage springs broke late Sunday afternoon. I gave Always Open and they were able to get someone out first thing Monday morning. The two gentlemen got my garage door up and running even better than before the spring broke in no time. Thanks much for such great service at a very reasonable price!! A+++ read more

My garage door opener died today and I was glad I remembered the excellent service I had last time so I called again and was not disappointed. Bennett came today and replaced my old noisy opener now inoperable unit with a updated quiet model in an efficient professional manner and I'm again very happy I called always open. Needless to say I highly recommend them. read more

Service, Quality and Value....exceeded expectations. They will always be my first choice for all garage door services.

Honest, on time and great service. The tech who came out provided good options for our door!

This is the second time i have used them, The best family business i have dealt with. The father explains everything answers all your concerns and questions. First time one of his sons came an installed new HD springs and told me that my old Genie garage door opener was old and tired, which they were correct but i held it out. I know it was failling Genies are cheap and junk. It over heated and stop everytime on me. I could of went to sears, lowes or home depot to buy a cheap priced garage door and installed it my self, but they are not the professional version like the rail is not a solid one piece its several sections that you bolt on and they are flimsy, so what i did this time because of there great customer service satisfaction i called them again for new garage door opener which the father Mark recommend a LiftMaster So its this one and comes with an LCD smart panel too it tells the temperature inside the garage and you can open it by an app on your smartphone as far away as china Elite Series 8550W | WiFi Garage Door Opener | LiftMaster https://www.liftmaster.com/for-homes/garage-door-openers/elite-series/model-8550w Another son came this time and he installed this new garage door opener, and recommend new high cycle Percision rollers which i needed and lubed and tuned everything on my garage door Now the garage door when it opens is so quiet. I am impressed. Did i mention this opener has a backup battery if the power goes out. See my youtube video of the difference link. https://youtu.be/EUpgC0XurFU read more

Scheduled an appointment with this company, but ultimately had to reschedule due to a last minute conflict. It was okay with them because they were running behind that day. Well, they never showed up for the second appointment, didn't call and didn't respond to my online inquiry. Go somewhere else so you don't waste your time waiting for them to not show up. read more

First service completed in 9/19. TOTAL SERVCE & PRICE SATISFACTION !!!!! Past 5 days started having motor problems opening & closing the garage door. Called Mark Tuesday morning & explained the problem. He directed me the solution which resulted in 5 minutes of work. From the East Coast & reside full time in Scottsdale, I have never experienced the HONESTY & EXPERT TECHNICAL QUALITIES of any contractor that serviced our home. The bottom line - Mark could have optioned to service the door & receive a fee !!!!! read more

Ben came out to my home on Sunday and did a great job. It was not an emergency repair, but they don't charge extra for weekend appointments so I agreed to the time. Ben ended up adding a support bar to my door to make it run a LOT smoother than it was before. He actually found out I had a faulty sensor that I didn't know about and the repair cost was very fair. I know that in the future if I have any garage door issues A Always Open will be the company I will call. Thank you guys!! read more

This is my first review on Yelp but I felt compelled to write about these guys. This is not the first, or even second, time I've used their service. This is the third time, and our third house, where I've had one of the guys out for garage door work. We've had a consistently amazing experience each time. Mark and his sons are courteous and fair. They went out to repair a dented garage door when someone, I won't mention who, backed into a closed door at our first house. They repaired a broken spring at our second house, and now they've just completed installing 2 Liftmaster WLED openers at our new house. I initially emailed to ask about pricing on the garage door installs and got a quick response from Zach. He spoke with his dad, Mark, and was able to get me even better pricing. They arranged to come out quickly to get the job done for me even though they normally service my area on the weekends. Zach drove all the way to North Peoria from the East Valley this morning and kept me updated on the traffic situation to let me know when he would arrive. He made quick work of the install and cleaned up after himself where it looks like he was never here. I couldn't be happier with the openers and the job Zach did. If you need any type of garage work, contact Mark and the team. They will give you a fair, honest price, and will do an amazing job. Maybe that's what the A stands for. read more

Absolutely positive experience. Mark squeezed me in due to a scheduling problem and was thoroughly professional, knowledgeable and efficient! I would highly recommend his company to all. JRC read more

We called Always Open when our garage door would not open one morning. Ben scheduled a same day appointment to assess our issue and give us an estimate. Our garage doors and openers were about 35 years old so we decided it was time to replace them. We received a quote from Ben and another company. The other company said it would take about 5 weeks to get everything installed; Ben was able to have the doors installed in less than one week - just had to fit us into his installation schedule. Ben was kind, knowledgeable and always quickly responsive. He did a great job installing our new doors and hardware, always leaving our garage cleaner than he found it! We love our new doors, hardware and openers and highly recommend Always Open Garage Doors read more

I never expected to have service the same day I called! They stayed in contact with me about their arrival time, and let me know the name of the man that should be coming to my home. When Zach arrived he was respectful and very professional. He walked me through the repairs and didn't try to "up" sale me. My invoice showed the repairs and the things that I should consider for my next service date. I am very pleased with the excellent service I received! read more

We had a problem with our garage door and weren't sure if it was fixable or if we needed a new door. A friend highly recommended Always Open so we called. They were out in NO TIME to fix. Mark looked over the problem and said NO NEW DOOR because he could fix our issue. He went to work at it and even adjusted the rollers, hinges, etc. THESE GUYS ARE THE REAL DEAL!! They are available 24/7. Our fix happened in the late afternoon on a Sunday! No extra charge for weekend/evenings. The price was more than reasonable. In fact, if you need a new door, their prices for the door and install are way less than I would have expected (I asked because I am sure we will eventually have to replace the old door that is 39 years old!) read more

Our garage door spring broke on our two car garage. Mark quoted a fair price out the door and came same day (Saturday). Very nice people and made quick work of the repair. read more

I got home yesterday to find that one of the garage springs broke and the door would not open. I called Always Open at about 6:30 PM and they quoted me a very reasonable price. Appreciate how fast they were able to address it and would highly recommend them. read more

Really impressed with the service from this team! Was honestly a bit wary seeing the countless near perfect Yelp reviews, but after having these guys come over, I understand now! Garage door broke around 6pm on a Sunday - guy showed up at 9pm, walked me through exactly what was wrong and what the options were to fix. Was perfectly honest on the pros and cons of getting a whole new unit - didn't try to sell me onto something I couldn't afford or need at the moment. Will be my first call next time something goes wrong! read more

Avoid this company like the plague. When my opener failed to work, I called this company and they initially told me that a sensor was set improperly. After shelling out $150 for their tune-up and parts (which they ALSO blamed for the problem), the door seemed to be fixed. OR SO I THOUGHT... The next morning the door did not work AGAIN. I called for a service once again. The repair tech stared at the device (literally) and immediately claimed that the motor was shot. Now that is tantamount to an auto mechanic looking at a hood of a car and telling me that the engine was blown! The technician could not articulate how or why the motor was blown so I offered to purchase a new opener and they could install it. They refused. This company would only install their OWN materials, and at a substantial increase in price-They claimed that Home Depot equipment was garbage even though at my prior house, my Home Depot purchased opener lasted the 10 years I lived there. Ultimately, I saw through their scheme and was not about to be fooled again. I called another company and they told me that the motor was fine. All it had was a blown circuit panel which cost $80.00 as opposed to the $480 that A Always wanted to charge me for a new system. This company gouges customers, has incompetent technicians, and cannot be trusted. Try Smokey's Garage door. I was referred to them and they did OUTSTANDING work at a fraction of the cost. read more

My door spring broke this morning and locked my car in the garage. I read a couple reviews on Yelp, including a bad one and decided I'd take a chance on their $25 off Yelp deal. Zach was my technician. He was able to get me scheduled for a visit the same day between 4-7pm. Doorbell rang at 4:15 and Zach went to work. He did a full checkup on the door and gave me feedback about it's condition and performance. He then replaced the broken part with no pressure to buy or fix anything else and charged exactly what he quoted in our phone call. Solid service and friendly technician. read more

Zach came out to check out our garage and showed us a variety of options that would fit our needs and price range. He answered my questions over the phone and text until we were able to decide on color, thickness & decorative finishes. The door came in on time and Zach installed the entire door by himself and hauled away our old, ugly door. Our new door works like a charm and is no longer the eye sore of our home! Thanks Zach & team! read more

Wow! As good as it gets! Highly Recommend. Last week, our garage door jumped the track. The door was crooked, partially hanging off the track and the track was bent. We were sure we had ruined the door. We fired up Google and started calling around. Always Open Garage Doors was the only company where the owner answered the phone. He scheduled an appointment for that afternoon. Zach arrived right on time. He quickly assessed the damage, recommended that we repair the track and replace the rollers. He quoted a very fair price - and immediately went to work. He repaired the bent track, replaced our worn out rollers with new heavy duty sealed ball bearing rollers and adjusted the spring. He even took the time to correct installation mistakes we'd made when we installed our Home Depot garage door opener, graciously replaced a broken light sensor with new one and neatly rewired our amateur wiring job. By the time he left, Zach made sure that both our garage doors were rolling smoothly and quietly. Better than new. Highly recommend Zach and Always Open Garage Doors. We'll definitely call Always Open when it's time to replace our aging garage door openers because we know Zach will do it right. What a pleasure to find a company where the owners provide honest, fast, high quality workmanship and superior customer service. read more

I have used them on 3 of my properties over the years. They have always been friendly, courteous and prompt! I have never waited more then the same day for a repair. It's comforting to know they will come right and fix the problem so you're garage door is working perfect before night falls. I when we but new properties the first thing I do is call and have them come and replace the crappy builder rollers and change out everything to a better quality and longer lasting parts. Everything they use lasts longer and the doors open smoother. They also keep up on the warranty side as well. If you have a problem they will help right away. I mean withen the hour or two.
