I interviewed this company before making my decision to have them do our inspection. The inspection we got was not what they described to me. The inspector seemed in a hurry and didn't try to locate the water shut off valve and didn't have to do part of the inspection because we had a roofing inspector do that part. They were on time but I definitely didn't get a quality inspect I have called and left messages 3 times because I didn't like the idea of leaving a review here. Obviously calling the company does not work either. read more

I always enjoy working with A-Action Realty Inspection Services. Their inspectors are prompt, professional and knowledgeable. During the busy season, sometimes having an inspector out during the option period can be a challenge. With A-Action, they have numerous qualified inspectors, so scheduling a time that will work for buyers/sellers and within the option period gives me piece of mind and makes my clients lives easier. read more

Paul was completely thorough, polite, and easy to understand. He let us know everything he was doing, what he found, and what it meant to our home-buying process. I would definitely recommend! Did I mention thorough? That 60 page report will definitely come in handy to negotiate with our sellers. Thank you! read more

Very professional and clear, readable report. I highly recommend Paul Crowe as he is the inspector they sent out. I know they have several and I'm sure they are all good. But Paul was professional. Everything happened on time and when they said it would. Easy to schedule and good follow through. read more

This is for our inspection on our new house in Dallas back in January-- We had Sean Smith and we couldn't be more pleased by how he inspected our townhouse! He is very professional and helpful. He explained what he saw and brought it to our attention on what we need to tell the builders. For the property to be a new build and less than a year old, we thought it would be flawless.. but Sean did a great job looking for stuff that otherwise would be left untouched. He pointed out the AC system that we have, and lo and behold... after moving in after a week, the AC started acting up! Thank goodness we had that part taken care of in our inspection and our amendment! Very pleased with the service! Keep up the great work! read more

A-Action provided a prompt, professional, and very thorough inspection for our potential new home. Luis Perez was very polite and extremely knowledgeable regarding the inspection process. He uncovered heretofore unknown potential problems with the house and really helped further inform us in the home buying process. I highly recommend this company! read more

We were provided a list of various inspectors in the area by our realtor. I selected this company based on their reputation and ratings on Google and Yelp, and I could not be happier with that decision. The entire process was smooth, professional, and worth every penny spent. They even gave me a Yelp discount (thanks!). Our inspector, Sean Smith, arrived a few minutes early (the house was vacant, so no conflict of schedules with sellers or occupants). Sean was extremely thorough and took his time throughout the entire inspection. I followed him for most of the inspection and asked 1,000 questions along the way. He was patient, took the time to explain what he was inspecting, and what the problems were when he found them. Every inch of the property was inspected from top to bottom. No detail was left out of the process. In the end, I was surprised how much time Sean spent with us. At the end of the inspection, Sean produced the final report on site. He walked through the entire document with the realtor and me. The report had incredible detail, great explanations, and many many pictures with arrows and circles to clearly illustrate the issues. After walking through the document with us, he answered all of our questions and sent us the final document. It is easy to read and completely understandable...even for someone that isn't familiar with the subject matter. My expectations were far exceeded with the services provided by Sean. I will recommend yal to anyone and everyone I know. Thank you so much! read more

I've used them three times already and at all times, they've been prompt, professional, thorough and respectful. I like their integration with modern communications like notifications by text and e-mail. I got the report swiftly after inspections were completed. I didn't have to wait hours or a day for the report. They went straight to my e-mail. read more

Inspector did a GREAT job on our pre-drywall inspection. The report he provided us was thorough and detailed, with pictures to support all claims. He was also polite and professional on the phone. The only reason I do not give 5 stars is because the price is quite high for the service. You should provide a final inspection for a discounted price for everyone who uses you guys for pre-drywall inspections on their new homes. read more

They are very thorough and explain everything in detail should you or your clients have questions - Very personable and courteous as well! Thank you for providing great customer service and competitive pricing! read more

I've used A-Action for my last 2 home purchases; my townhouse and most recently my house. Both inspectors did a great job and made me feel at ease with the entire process. They were very thorough in explaining the inspection report, which is detailed and easy to read. Their internal office team are awesome to work with from scheduling to paying the invoice, it's all very straight-forward and easy. I highly recommend. read more

As a REALTOR®, my clients needs are paramount to me. I only refer my clients to the best professionals and when it comes to home inspections A-Action Realty Inspection Services has earned its place on my list of highly recommended companies. The inspector (Sean Smith) was professional and thorough with his inspection and subsequent verbal and written reports. read more

I know why they find more problems than anyone else, took photos that were deceptive but once shown in context, problem was easily corrected. Inspector wasn't professional and seemed to be annoyed with my presence and knowledge of home construction. The inspector did find things we did not know about and we were able to affect repairs, but I have worked with other inspectors in the past who were much friendlier, much more knowledgeable and weren't looking to make up problems. read more

Luis was VERY thorough, VERY professional, and VERY patient! He took his time and explained, in detail, the issues we were concerned with. He also explained why things were deficient. He then provides fixes for the majority of those issues. We couldn't be more pleased with the service and individual! read more

Sean at A-Action Realty did a great job inspecting my potential home. He was extremely thorough, and gave me good information about the extent of needed repairs. The report was returned immediately following the inspection. I didn't end up moving forward with the home because of the EXTREME termite infection that he discovered. I am thankful for A-Action! read more

Paul Was fantastic. He did a very thorough inspection and gave a very detailed explanation of all the findings and also answered all our questions. read more

Their scheduling is awesome, they were open during my tight schedule and worked with what I got. I got two inspection for two different homes. The first one was a pre dry wall inspection and it went great. He picked up a lot of issues that I was able to address to the builder. But come two days later when I needed more explanation on certain issues, the inspector never returned my calls. Well I backed out from the deal so no worries. Come to my second inspection, it was for an already built home and it went smoothly. He picked up a lot of huge issues and I managed to get a brand new roof from the seller! Plus an allowance for other discrepancies. So if anything, ask a million questions while the inspector is there or hell even record the debrief. It would of been 5 stars but again what good is it to offer your inspector's numbers if they won't answer. read more

Monty and the team at A-Action Realty Inspection went above my expectations during the inspection of a house I purchased. Monty pointed out issues and gave maintenance expectations during the inspection. Unfortunately, I had to leave early due to parental obligations but he walked me around the property to give his conclusion on minor cracks around the foundation and in the veneer. Monty was professional, had a high level of expertise, and provided a thorough inspection. read more

The inspector and the work was awesome. Very thorough. But without my permission they enrolled me in a concierge service to "help" me with my move. Read "sell me stuff". I have had numerous emails and phone calls that I never asked or signed up for. Even the email that suggested that I submit a review, doesn't have an unsubscribe link, which is strictly against regulations in outbound emailing. Look, you guys do a nice job with your primary service, but whatever reason you are offering these additional services isn't really a benefit. It should be explained and optional. Please turn this stuff off. read more

I get a little nervous when I hire somebody that lacks reviews on Yelp. These guys were recommended by my agent and never regret hiring them! We worked with Brad from their team and he was awesome. He was on time and went to work immediately. He was very helpful on explaining the issues he would find and built up a report on-site and had it to me in minutes with pictures. I do have a technical background, so I am very detail oriented as he was when it came to checking everything out. I highly recommend them again. read more

My inspection was quick to schedule and I received a through report within hours of my inspection. I did have a few questions after reviewing my report and I was able to get a hold of Scott (my inspector) on my first attempt. Scott was able and willing to speak to me. He was very nice and detailed. Our conversation was about 20 minuets long and I never felt like I was wasting Scott's time or bothering him. That I valued the most out of my transaction with this business. Overall, job well done. read more

The customer care coordinators were very helpful and professional. The ladies took care of me and made sure that I was informed and answered any question that I had regarding my home inspection. The home inspector met my expectations and more. He took his time and meticulously checked things that "we" as homeowners wouldn't expect to check. This is why he's the professional. He also took his time to explain in detail of the finds that he found. I am very satisfied and pleased with the outcome. I would definitely recommend your services to my family and friends. read more

My wife and I have been house hunting for a while now, and we really appreciate A-Action for the work they do on their home inspections. This company was one of three recommended by my realtor. The full extent of the problems arising now from the negligent services they provided are just surfacing. The inspector who was sent out spent some extra time reviewing details, and when he was finished, I asked him directly if there were any major concerns he had that I needed to know about before purchasing the house. He assured me that there were not. I am a first time house buyer, and trusted him 100%. He went through his report with me, and explained which points he'd checked as deficient and why. He also pointed out the under sink cabinet in the kitchen, saying that he was not allowed to use the word "mold", but that there was mold there, clearly due to a long term plumbing leak. I thanked him, and made a note to inform my contractor, assuming that it was a localized problem, that could easily be remedied. He did not recommend that I contact a licensed mold inspector to follow up, nor did he seem particularly worried about it. Based on that, I did go through with the purchase. My contractor began work at the beginning of August, and about three weeks into the work, the smell of mildew and mold had become overpowering in the house. I began investigating, and without having to look very hard, I opened another under sink cabinet in another room, that I'd not looked closely at before, and it was full of mold growth. As we continued looking, pulling the sheetrock off some of the walls, cutting samples from the ceilings, pulling out kitchen cabinets on other walls, we were horrified to discover mold everywhere. I have since been told by a mold inspector that the moment damp is noted by a home inspector, they are obligated to recommend follow up with a licensed mold inspector. Not only did my inspector not do that, he did not seem to be at all concerned that he'd found mold already present in house. When I phoned the company to ask what could be done now, I was informed that the disclaimer clauses in their contract release them from any responsibility. I was also told that because my inspector noted damp marks on ceilings in the report, that I should have followed up myself with a licensed mold inspector. As a first time home buyer, I did not know what questions to ask, or what follow up was appropriate. I paid this company almost $500 trusting they would inform me of these things. I am now facing minimum $10k remediation costs, that I may have to hire an attorney to get out of my seller, and that's just the beginning. read more

Paul Crowe is awesome!! I am sure others are just as meticulous as he is. I would recommend AAction to everyone. Great service!!

We used them on a new house and the report passed with flying colors, a year later we used a different inspector due to problems we discovered ourselves that should've been caught with a professional inspector. The second inspector found a hole on the roof, missing gfci for hot tub, low air flow through vents, and many others, we were in total shocked, buyers beware read more
