I made the reservation for my folks (they are from another country) going to SeatTac airport. My parents are thoroughly impressed with the service! The driver came on time and drove my folks to the airport on time. The rate is super reasonable (and he was given a good tip). When my parents got to the airport, they didn't realize that the baggage cart would cost $4 and the driver shelled out for my parents. Once my parents got together the only cash they had and tried to pay the driver back, the driver didn't take it. As visitors from another country, they felt really respected and well treated! Screwed us. We'd arranged for a ride to the airport several days ahead of time. During rush hour, right before a big soccer game; we knew traffic would be bad so we'd scheduled plenty of time. Good thing too, because when pickup time arrived and the phone rang, we expected the driver to tell us he was in front of the house. Nope, he was AN HOUR away, ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE AIRPORT. We fell into the great experience category. The driver was on time and super nice. Car was clean and comfortable. The price just right. Guy on phone quoted us $30 flat rate downtown to airport. Driver asked for $35. Not sure if he was building in a tip or what. I had planned on giving a $10 tip so $40 total. If it really was $35 I guess that comes out of his tip. He can take that up with the owner. All around a good way to get to and from airport. read more

I have used these guys for years and have had excellent service. They are always on time, and you can book a reservation at any time. ABC is owned and operated by one guy who organizes and dispatches all the drivers-- a true local small business person who is very funny, warm and respectful. Only one time out of the last 7 years or so my ride was completely forgotten, and I was given a free ride the next time. Everyone makes honest mistakes, so although it was highly stressful at the time, it all worked out fine in the long run. I love supporting these guys, and use them all the time several times a year. read more

The price of this service is excellent. However, my driver was quite unprofessional. He said that he does not like to drive in traffic, took side streets rather than the freeway and we ended up in a bottleneck following a Mariners game. What should have taken half an hour at most took over 1 hour. My wait for him at the airport was longer than should have been and he shared far too much personal information with me - made me doubt his integrity. Maybe it's what I should expect for the price, but I will try another service next time. read more

Used A-ABC Transportation for the first time going from the U District to SEA TAC. On time (unlike Yellow Cab), friendly and cheap. Flat rate of $40 compared to $50+ for a taxi (depending on traffic). Bob was the driver and had a nice conversation with him over the 40 minute trip. I needed to take a taxi from the ferry to the Mercer Island Boys and Girls club on Martin Luther King Day. Hesitant to take a taxi, I went online and found A-ABC transportation. They are the best!!! Stephen was very helpful and pleasant on the phone and Stanley, the driver, met me right at the ferry terminal and had me where I needed to go in under a half hour. I called this service after two different best rated companies told me that they were booked. The phone was answered quickly by a very friendly man. I don't know if he recognized the distress in my phone, he spoke very reassuringly to me. The car arrived on time with the most pleasant driver I have en counted in a long time. He spoke to me the whole ride and was very kind. He also took a different rout since the freeway was under construction. He got me to the airport 10 minutes earlier than the usual expected drive. If I am back to Seattle, I will be using this company again. read more

I love A-ABC. They are always on time (often early), very friendly, and CHEAP. I pay $40 to/from Auburn. I use them at least twice a week.

The driver was on time, a bit early actually and I got the airport easily. The problem is that I was charged $10 more than the fare quoted to me ($45 instead of $35). I didn't argue too much and was told to check online, where indeed the fare from Seattle was $35-$40. Still not a bad rate for a nice ride in a tow ncar. I'd be more upset if I wasn't getting reimbursed for business travel for sure. read more

My family has used A-ABC ten or twenty times in the last few years since we heard about them from a friend. We use them for airport transportation from our home in Ballard. They've been on time, every time. Their drivers are courteous and down to earth. And just recently United Airlines cancelled a flight without notification, we got an earlier flight on another airline, and A-ABC picked us up an hour earlier than our scheduled pickup, at 6am, with only an hour's notice. These people were the best people to deal with in Seattle. The cab arrived 10 minutes before the requested time and the driver was very friendly. Like another, we too we're left scrambling at 6 AM when they didn't show for a trip to the airport. Arranged a day in advance - THEY talked me into going earlier than I wanted... then didn't show. Called up and got a series of grunted questions, but no commitment to getting us, no apology, then no call back - had to spend $200 on public parking at the airport instead. Yes, we got to our flight on time, but only because I was nervous from some of the reviews and called about 45 minutes before our pick-up time. They were 15 minutes late because they had to call and wake someone up to get me!! The driver said the scheduler "lost his appointment book". ??? And the driver was trying to find us using an old Thomas Guide rather than GPS. Is this or is this not the 21st Century? Basically we got the same price as a taxi, so next time I'll call Yellow Cab. read more

So we called and scheduled a pick up for my wife, my 7mo daughter, and myself. He called and left me a msg asking me to call when we landed. So I did. He then asked me to call him when I got to the baggage claim. So I did. He then said go outside and give him the # above the door and said he would be right there. It was a long day of traveling and at 0030 hrs we were tired. After waiting like 20-30 minutes I call and he says he will be here soon and hangs up. WTF man. So about 10 minutes later the guy comes. Finally we are on our way home. When he drops us off I hand him my credit card and he says "he didn't tell you to pay with cash"? Again WTF. No he never said that to me. Either you run it or leave were his options. He choose to run it but it was an old machine that you roll back and forth and it was stashed in a paper bag. Talk about shady. I would never use them again. Unfortunately I cant remember the name of the place we used previously and they were awesome! read more
