We purchased items from them before (floor lamp, coffee table, outdoor furniture) and were very satisfied. The store is beautiful and very easy to browse through. Joe and Mary are helpful and knowledgeable and put no pressure on you. Mary even encourages you to take fabric samples home before committing to a purchase. Joe and his colleague delivered our sofa and took away our old one. We have many narrow doors and stairs to negotiate and they did the job so carefully and with such patience. Perhaps a department store would offer a few lamps or lamp shades but not the selection and personal service of a specialty shop such as King's. I was in search of a repair on a small but favorite lamp with some type of wiring issue.The gentleman, Danny, found the problem, repaired the faulty issue within 24 hours. The repair may have been fairly routine to this businessman but my daughter was very happy to have her favorite little hummingbird lamp back and in working order! It is located on a small hill and seems picture perfect like movies. The tree-lined streets include eclectic boutiques, antique shops, and eateries.
