We dealt with Mike, one of the two brothers that did the job. They were both incredibly friendly, neat and clean, and worked quickly. They went out of our way and went above and beyond what we ever could have expected. I had asked them to leave off the toe kick heater in the kitchen to bring the cost down $400, which allowed me to get the loan approval. They ended up installing a small section of baseboards anyway for no extra cost because he told my dad he didn't feel right leaving me with nothing in the kitchen. So at 3am I started emailing all the HVAC companies I could find via Yelp and Angi. I emailed over a dozen companies. Only two got back to me. The first one was " positive it was my entire furnace and I was looking at between $5K -$8k depending on the size I needed. Mind you this is without even coming to my house. Charles from Fitzy called me around 6am. We talked for a few minutes and he said he could be there around 8 and see what we were looking at. By 11 he had diagnosed that it was the fan motor. Went through the rest of the furnace to make sure nothing else was broken , went to pick up the part and had me up and running. With the temps going to drop to single digits this weekend , I was concerned. Thanks to Charles I have heat and for far less than what I know someone else would have charged.

His team installed my transfer switch back in 2016 and it has worked perfectly with my generator through the all too frequent power outages we get in our area. The design for the transfer switch was simple, effective, and pretty much foolproof. Exactly what I was looking for. Today we had another power outage and when I switched off my trusty generator and back to the grid, we had flickering then dim lights and electrical appliances that wouldn't work properly. Called John late at night and he promptly returned my call and explained the possible causes - probably a problem with the electricity supplier not turning the power back on "all the way". Turns out, he was right, and a few hours later my high voltage appliances worked fine again. They say you don't want to take any chances with electricity or wiring.
