I initially contacted Rich via email and his response was prompt, which I love. He was very flexible when choosing a day and time to come to our house and give us an estimate. Right when he arrived, I could tell he was a great guy in general. My husband and I got along with him great and probably kept him longer than he anticipated because we were talking his ear off. We did have every intention of getting multiple estimates but he wasn't even back in his car yet and I told my husband we were hiring him and I "liked" his Facebook page before he even backed out of our driveway. It's important to have a good feeling about someone doing work in your home and he definitely gives his clients that! We purchased our home recently and could not love it more than we do but it did not get the TLC a home should have over the years by its previous owners. There were a lot of "mistakes" in the painting and walls that needed to be "fixed". We had so many marks, cracks, and holes that needed to be filled and Rich is so detailed oriented that we didn't even need to point some thing out to him. When he came into our home, he was so professional, set up his equipment and was so careful with our furniture and belongings. The colors we chose weren't drastically different than what was there already but when he was finished he cleaned up his things and it looked like he had never been there. The only thing left behind was an amazing paint job. Our house looks and feels like new. Right down to every detail and edge the painting is perfect. Rich is clearly someone who takes pride and great care in his work. He told me that in life I might need to call a plumber some day and you better know some basics before signing a contract with someone. He began to give me a grand tour of all the plumbing that A&L Plumbing did on the job site and kept telling me how clean, orderly, and efficient they are. Just from the looks of it, I would have to agree. Being in IT, I know when little things are out of place and its the little things that make all the difference. Let me tell you (not knowing much about plumbing), these guys had everything in place and in an orderly fashion. Properly labelled pipes, state of the art products and from the looks of it, had tons of experience in this area. I work with modern technology all the time and would have to say that when the Forman showed me around and what types of plumbing technology they were installing, I was blown away! I had no idea all the tech that is now involved within this area. I thought the profession was kind of behind with technology and sort of playing catch-up... I had no idea the setup they that was involved with some of the plumbing equipment. Remote-in with your phone to adjust the temperature of your water heater and analyse just about any stats you want? WHAT? Seriously, Yeah, these guys know their S#it. He began to tell me these guys are the ones to call even if I had a small plumbing concern and that they are the most reasonably price contractors around. In addition, handed me a their number on a scrap piece of paper, should I ever need them in the future. None, the less my friend recently bought a house and they happened to call them and they did all the plumbing in their house ha! Crazy! They began to tell me how nice of a crew they are and how efficient they were with the installation upgrades and their requests, that even they recommended them to me. That's twice now from two different sources that when the time comes for me, I will certainly call these guys and have them do all my plumbing needs. I would not feel comfortable having someone else do the work, when my closest friends tell me they are good. Seeing first hand what these guys can do on the job site I was working at, it is certain I will call them. I had to write this review because I feel they deserve a good review seeing how hard these guys work and the quality of work that it would be nice of me to express my thoughts online. Call'em up, it is better than going to the big overpriced box plumbers.
