We engaged EJ Windows and Screens to clean our windows on November 15th, 2020. This was the second…read moretime EJ cleaned our windows and James, the owner/operator, did a good job cleaning them. We had also been told when setting up the appointment that James could re-screen any screens that needed replacement on-site during his November 15th appointment. James identified six screens that needed replacement. He said he had another appointment to clean windows that afternoon and asked if he could take them with him to be re-screened. James committed to having them re-screened and installed in 2-3 days - by November 18th, so we agreed that he could take them with him. Unfortunately, it is now two months later and to date, James has not returned our six screens. During the last two months, 10 different appointments (with specific dates/timeframes) have been set by James to return our re-screened screens and they have each resulted in either "no shows" or short notice cancellations. The reasons given to us for his lack of follow-through and timely communication are varied, but the result is the same. We have exchanged numerous texts, have left voicemails, an email and sent a letter regarding his lack of follow-through on this commitment. Two months later, we are still without our screens and waiting for James to return them.

BEWARE! I used Perfectionist Cleaning for window cleaning in April 2023 and had a great experience,…read morewhich is why I hired them again in April 2026. Unfortunately, this second experience was completely different. I was told they would arrive between 9:00am-10:00am, but after multiple calls throughout the day, they didn't show up until 3:00pm. The crew that arrived did not speak English, rushed through the job, and the quality of the cleaning was poor. I had to go back and clean numerous streaks myself, and there was still bird droppings left on several windows afterward. The worst part, however, was the damage they caused to four of my window screens. One worker even knocked on my door to ask my husband to help bend a damaged screen back into shape and force it back into the window frame. (You can clearly see their cleaning supplies in the background of the attached photo of window #1.) The screens are now bent and damaged to the point that several windows can no longer be properly opened because the gaps are so large that bugs and debris can get inside. One window will not open at all because the damaged screen is obstructing it. After multiple attempts to resolve the issue and request reimbursement, Perfectionist Cleaning claimed the screens were already damaged before they arrived. That makes absolutely no sense considering we could open all of our windows before the cleaning, and now we cannot. My husband also sent photos of the damage, and they responded by claiming the photos were of "different windows." We are honest Christian people who simply wanted our windows cleaned and instead ended up with damaged property and a company refusing to take responsibility. With a baby on the way, we cannot afford the unexpected cost to replace multiple window screens ourselves. After reading other recent reviews, it appears this may be becoming a pattern for this company -- damage customers' property and refuse to fix it. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
