He worked with us to get the shower doors ordered and installed quickly. A couple notes during our experience. The shipping came late and they had to reschedule the install. The lady making the appointment insisted to make it for 8:00am when I said I rather do it later at 9:00am. Day of appointment they didn't arrive til later anyways and Akio told me she was new and they don't usually do it at 8:00am. They had to come back twice, first to install bumpers they forgot to bring, second to fix alignment of wheels and guide. Overall I would rate my experience 4/5 but giving a little extra for how friendly Akio was and their follow up to my issues.

Honestly, it would've been fine either way, but I love that it was a woman. Every step of the way every one was pleasant to deal with and competent at their job. They have a very dialed-in process and communications. Last, but certainly not least, the workmanship was excellent. We love our new windows and they have made our new home and workshop 100% better! The doors were repeatedly delayed, the wrong handles were installed, and the insect screens were missing with no firm installation date provided. The screens were included in the project price, and I had already paid a substantial deposit toward the order. Initially, D&D offered to let me withhold only $100 despite being unable to provide an installation date for the screens. After I objected, they agreed to leave $500 unpaid until the screens could be supplied and installed. They are now asking me to pay that remaining $500 even though, at the time of this review, they still do not have the screens and the screens have not been installed. A trim piece was also left for us to have cut. I was not told before the installation that the new exterior trim and the white caulking around the trim joints would still need to be painted, leaving me with additional work and expense to finish the project properly. D&D later offered to replace the handles and arrange to have the trim piece cut, but I declined because I had lost confidence in their communication and follow-through. I decided to complete the remaining work myself. Update: My main concern remains the outstanding $500. Your email stated that I could leave $500 unpaid for the screen and its installation until you were able to complete that work. The screens are still unavailable, have not been installed, and no firm installation date has been provided. Despite this, I was being asked to pay the $500 balance. Regarding the handles, I had to contact you on July 30 because I had received no update and assumed they had not arrived as expected. Only after my email was I told that the replacement handles had arrived that afternoon, and a return appointment was then offered. Given the repeated delays and lack of timely communication, I chose not to have your company return. My review reflects my experience with this particular project, and I stand by it.

When my master bathroom remodel was…read morecompleted in 2016 the contractor gave me the warranty from NB Diamon-Fusion (who treated the shower glass before installation) with the details on care and what to do when the glass started to cloud. Well, almost seven years on there was a bit of clouding so I called Joe and I couldn't have been happier with the results. He was timely in scheduling an appointment with me. When he arrived he replaced some worn door seals and re-treated the glass with a process he taught me to do on my own every six months. He told me how to clean the glass and also what not to use on it. He even gave me a recommendation for brightening up my colored shower tile grout. Joe really cares for the work he does and is a complete professional. A great service and company. Thanks Joe!
