I had Sonoma Glassworks install glass for a shower and a large mirror in my remodeled master bath. While there were some good elements to their work, which I will discuss below, they were not good with details and left me disappointed with them. After coming out to measure, they did nothing until I called them after the expected delivery date to learn that they hadn't ordered the glass at all and were waiting to get a deposit from me. My contractor told me they had never asked for a deposit on jobs before or for this job. In addition, they had to send the guy out again to measure, apparently because he forgot to take one key measurement. When the glass did arrive, the project looked good except for an air bubble in the glass at the corner, which they should have caught during the install, and leaking at the hinges where the glass connects to the tile. They sent the guy out to add more epoxy to fix that problem. He told me the office would get back to me about replacing the glass with the bubble, but they didn't. Instead, today I learned they charged my credit card for the balance without calling me. The mirror is perfect, and I like the new shower, but Sonoma Glassworks really disappointed on the details. read more
