He was swearing at his employee. He charged an astronomical amount just for pumping the septic. He's a low life piece of trash who treats people like crap and takes advantage of his customers who may not know any better.

I called around and this place was the only one that managed to pick up the phone. The guy was super helpful and friendly. We drove the next day to pick up a lid and it fit perfectly. Our septic system has had a history of backing up, and I wrote a bad review of In-Sink couple…read moremonths ago, when after having In-SINK to my house to replace a septic sump, the problem continued for 9 months without any culpability or accountability from Charlie. But, eventually, he came out and addressed the issue. I'm extending some forgiveness and grace to the situation for two reasons: One, plumbers are in tough demand in the Flathead. Lots of work, not enough of them to go around especially in winter when many plumbing issues tend to happen and it was really hard trying to get ahold of him and have him return to address the issue. And two, this particular system is poorly designed. In witnessing the troubleshooting, it's clear the solution might be a redesign, which Charlie has offered to do if moving forward, his latest efforts of cistern-cleaning/pumping/roto-rooting doesn't fix it this time. SO, Charlie, thanks for putting in the time. Hopefully we won't need to call you back out here.
