Do not use them. Very expensive - charged $800+ for a water heater valve replacement, and $2700+ for moving (literally moving) water heaters out of the utility rooms for water mediation. You can see from the reviews that I am not the first customer that complains about their outrageous billings. I didn't and discovered we were charged 19 times the normal retail price for water heater parts required to fix our water heater (667vs35, resource Home Depot)! A total ripoff!! They are not customer friendly. I had gas lines ran and a tankless water heater installed. They broke the water shut off valve while installing, and then were to busy to come back on a emergency basis. I spent thousands for a crappy job. They didn't replace insulation, or fill the holes they drilled through the side of the home. Watch their bids. Very vague and you get screwed like I did. Conveniently wouldn't install all the the office manager said was in the bid. 5K!!!!!!!!!!! And they wouldn't come out to repair a water break. Move on my friends. Oh by the way, they left the old water heater that THEY agreed to remove for salvage. Very poor. read more

Paid this company nearly $1,000 to clear a pipe. Had to take time off work to help the technician do his job because he couldn't put the septic lid back on. Had a home inspection done a few days later only to find out that the same pipe was now leaking and water was pooling up beneath my house. Called the company right away since it was an emergency, but they didn't think it was urgent enough and scheduled me out 10 days. Had to get another company to fix it sooner, and when I tried to discuss possible compensation for the damage Plumb Rite caused, they accepted that the damage may or may not have been caused by them while also stating that they did a "proper job." Their preference was for me to blame anything or anyone but them. The buyer of my house backed out specifically because of Plumb Rite's damage, but at least they didn't need to refund me $250. read more

Call them! They are THE BEST. Plumb Rite is amazing. When our irrigation valve froze and burst, it flooded our yard. I called Plumb-Rite and Emily immediately answered and was so kind and professional. She had a plumber dispatched to our home within minutes. Matthew arrived 15 minutes later and was able to assess and fix the issue quickly and took the time to thoroughly check everything. He was also able to walk us through how to prevent the issue in the future. Matthew was professional, courteous and so nice. If I could leave a negative number I would.. These people are dishonest, sloppy and should go back to California where they came from because their integrity is worthless. I hired them to fix a leaky toilet and the fix was worse than the problem. The cardboard ring under the rubber flap was never removed and flooded my bathroom and hallway. Talk about feeling taken! We had some pvc piping replaced, and a new toilet installed in one bathroom. The charge was $1,130.00!!!!!! Just got off the phone with a plumber, he will replace two more toilets, of the same type for $525.00. Go figure the difference. Never again will we use Plumb Rite. Buyer beware. Thanks YouTube for helping me so I did not get ripped off by ridiculous high quotes and suggested fixes from Plumb-Rite to stop my toilet leak problem! I was very disappointed from the time Jason W showed up without the warning I was supposed to receive ahead of time that I did not get, to let me know he was on his way, ....to his inability to just quickly fix my problem using the cheapest option. He suggested and quoted to me that I needed to completely replace all toilet parts to even getting a whole new toilet; and he made all of these assumptions without even touching or looking at any of the parts in detail to verify that the parts were shot and needed to be replaced (which they did not and were all still working). I asked him a couple times if he was sure they all needed to be replaced...and I don't understand why he would say that even. All it needed was a new rubber seal ring that cost me $2.97!! I thought my toilet was more complicated than it was but no I just needed to take the one main part out in the middle and clean it up a bit where the rubber ring is that stops the water from leaking out! Eventually I discovered that I needed to replace that rubber seal. I also asked about raising the water level....he did not help me with that or tell me how to do it either. So NO the fix was quick and simple and a cheap fix! ....nothing that required a new toilet and or a complete parts replacement as Jason told me I needed and he gave me three quotes: 2 for new toilets they sold and install fees...$575 & $757. But worse is the main quote where he said I needed to do a "complete toilet tank rebuild- pull and reset, for $679!! He knew I was struggling financially and this is what he did and how he could help me? Here was just another example of having no integrity and greed for money was the priority! read more

This outfit was responsible for the worst all around service experience we have ever encountered. In short, the "tech" left a pvc joint in the crawl space unsecured, pulled a toilet then put back without replacing the wax ring nor securing it to underneath plate, attached the supply line to toilet hastily with the o ring left inside at a 45 degree angle and the kicker, destroyed custom tile, grout and textured plaster on three walls. Beside the $900 bill, the other outcomes of this comical visit were a flooded crawl space and plenty of work to refurbish the bathroom. Upon seeing the bathroom Matthew answered my concern with an actual laugh and commentary, "yeah, this thing has never even been in a home before". I retorted, "Matthew this is exactly why I instructed you to notify me if any concerns or questions before moving further". Found a quality plumber and restoration company to fix damage below which had all scratching heads on the absolute abysmal work done by plumb rite. Many pictures were taken which the owners refused to look at much less return my repeated calls. After being hung up on my last attempt I decided to contact my attorney just off principal so this does not happen to anyone else. I rarely leave negative reviews as I believe positive feedback is more worthwhile but save yourself a nightmare and do not let these people into your home. Unfortunately I was not able to oversee while all the damage was taking place. If you don't mind having a company come to your house twice, sending two different plumbers to correct a simple low flow problem, then getting charged $539.00 for a new faucet and labor, and still not get the problem resolved, try Plumb-Rite. I personally will never use them again nor will I recommend them to anyone. I had a problem with low flow in my kitchen and after cleaning the calcium in the faucet, I still wasn't getting the proper flow to the sink nor to the dishwasher. I called Plumb-Rite and the owner, Kirk, came to my house. He spent two hours checking the old faucet and cleaning the lines. That evening the problem still remained with no significant change in flow.My dishwasher did not get enough water to clean a single load. I called the company the next day explaining that I still had low flow and the dishes were not getting enough water to the dishwasher. A second plumber came out and he installed a new faucet, explained that to get more flow I would probably need to re-do pipes which would require removing sheet rock at quite an expense. I thought I had to live with the issue, and this meant I was forced to hand wash all dishes. My bill came in for $539 and the problem was never resolved. I called the owner and explained that I felt I was overcharged for a job that was not done to my satisfaction. He would not work with me at all and refused to make it right. After consulting with my property manager, I called Flo-Rite Plumbing in Kalispell. John came out immediately, installed a new part in the dishwasher, went downstairs to my utility room and turned off an instant hot water valve. Then he turned on the dishwasher to check out the water flow and it was great. Of course, I had to pay another $100.00, but I was given the guarantee that it he had to come out again it would be at no charge. (Compared to a double charge at Plumb-Rite and no satisfaction!) I don't mind paying for a job well done, but I do mind paying when someone does not do the job. I have tried to talk to Kirk several times at Plumb-Rite and he is not returning my call. I sent a letter explaining the situation and asked that he reduce his bill. He refused and threatened "further action." I am sorry I ever used this company and want to warn other people as well. Maybe you will have better luck than I did. It was an expensive lesson for me! read more

They said they would do a free estimate, but didn't tell me there was an $89 fee to come out. Then when the plumber called me to tell me what he needed to do he said $245 to snake the line, and if that didn't do it, he'd have to pull a toilet and use a bigger machine which would cost "a little more". Sure enough, snaking the drain line didn't work, so then he informed me it would cost $695 to do the next step. I asked how long he thought it would take and he said about an hour! So I called Ready Freddy who does all jobs like this for a $175 hourly rate. At least Plumb-Rite only charged me the $89 instead of $245 because he said he didn't like to charge if he didn't accomplish anything. read more

I arrived at my cabin near Coram to find that my pipes had frozen over the winter and when I turned on the water it was raining inside my house. I called on a Sunday for help, and they called me back the same day. They sent a plumber out first thing on Monday - Jason Kelly. He was terrific - really knew what he was doing. He had to replace the pipe in several places, but was methodical and professional. The system was back in working order by noon. He even cleaned up after himself. Yeah! I hated the bill, but plumbers like to support themselves and their families like the rest of us. I have to give them high marks for their professionalism and for caring about my predicament.
