My first to write a negative review. Service is absolutely terrible. Posted hours of operation are…read moreunreliable. I went there twice and both times the person "who can answer questions" (apparently there is only one) was not there (was told she takes long lunches; it was 2 pm). I was assured a good deal so third times charm and while she was knowledgeable regarding products she had on hand, she was not forthcoming on sharing information that could impact decisions. After a delayed delivery (I did them a favor) I learned I would have to spend more on my remodel (still not getting what i wanted) due to information I did not have and did not know to ask. Her answer - no, what you got was standard, what you want is an option - sorry. Even after doing them a favor there was no suggestions or offer to get the order to match what i wanted - just, a "too bad" attitude. Her attitude supported why she didn't share information in the first place - she don't care. The tub was the highlight of my remodel and now my entire remodel is an expensive disappointment. Just for the heck of it, I went to Lowe's and then Home Depot to see if the service I got from Modern Supply is typical but both stores (especially Lowe's) did a much better job to ensure I considered all aspects of the products (tub and faucets) for my bath remodel. I thought I might get better assistance from a small distributor but lesson learned. I will stick with the big box for my other bath and kitchen remodel.

I sure didn't want to repeat with the lousy company that shed paint all over my wood floors. My hubby found Ricki Vazquez and had him come out and give us a quote. He arrived quickly, gave us a great bid and we have been VERY happy with his company. They arrive on time when they say they will, something most contractors have a hard time doing. There at 8:00 AM each day with a team ready to hit the ground running. They protected all the surfaces NOT getting painted, removed all doors and mission shutters and then after refreshing, rehung same perfectly. They worked long days and got the job done, cleaning up each day upon completion. I would highly recommend this company and I will state up front, I am a demanding pain in the butt as a customer when folks are sloppy and I never was anything but happy with Ricki Vazquez Painting. Great job!!!

Two things: NEVER let anyone cut granite in your house without the device made to connect to the saw the collects the massive amount of white dust! As the result of not using the right equipment and not sealing my kitchen off it took me three weeks to clean all I could see on surfaces then hire someone to get to fabric, baseboards, blinds, shades and windows. Warning two. Tell your install crew not to put any cans, brushes or rags on your furniture. One of the installers left a rag soaked in a caustic material on my antique ponderosa pine table, causing it to cloud into the wood. The table top had to be completely refinished. My Rocky Tops agreed to pay for that but since the job in April, keeps telling me the "woman who writes the checks" hasn't. I paid for the refinishing in hope that the woman who writes checks would come across the payment due to the customer subjected to carelessness causing damage. These were nice people to deal with and they accommodated me by finding a granite that matched my budget. They just need to be more aware of what they are doing while in someone's home and stand behind their word Now, no one wants to return my call

I had a granite countertop installed and, unfortunately, the experience ended on a disappointing…read morenote. The initial installation could not be completed because the sink was cutout incorrectly. To their credit, customer service was great, and they corrected the issue. After the countertops were installed, I noticed the sealant was uneven, and they again responded promptly and sent someone out to fix it. I genuinely appreciated how both of those issues were handled. However, my experience took a much more concerning turn afterward. I discovered that one of my security cameras had been moved and was no longer facing my door. Footage from another camera also appeared to show a teenager tapping on my garage door window, seemingly to check whether it was secured. I sent the videos to my sales associate, who said she would pass them along to management. After having to follow up myself, the response I received was that they weren't sure why the camera had been moved because there was no reason to move it, and that the individuals involved had been spoken to. I understand that mistakes can happen, and I appreciated the customer service I received with the countertop issues. However, when something happens on your property that raises security concerns, I believe it deserves more than a delayed response relayed through a sales associate. In my opinion, a phone call directly from the manager, acknowledging what happened and offering a sincere apology, would have been appropriate. The quality of customer service during the initial problems gave me confidence in the company, which made the lack of direct communication and accountability afterward especially disappointing. The countertop issues were corrected, but the way the security concerns were handled left a lasting negative impression. Good customer service is not just about fixing installation mistakes; it is also about how a company responds when something more serious happens.
