He dropped the load and left to go back in the store telling myself and the manager that he didn't get paid enough to help hand load on the trailer. The manager was very kind and help load the flooring on my trailer even though I had told her that she didn't have to help. you get two stars for the fork lift drivers attitude. Fork lift driver attitude is not exceptional service. I have had metal roofing and siding loaded on the same trailer by using straps under the material. This place rocks, literally and figuratively!…read more LITERAL: All kinds of rocks, from smooth, tiny pebbles to big, edgy boulders, can be found here. The variety of gravel is displayed right outside the main building, so a short stroll will bring you across everything they have. The name of each collection is clearly labeled, so customers can match the look to the pricing sheet. Once you decide what material you'd like, pull your vehicle around the simply-laid and paved path to the pile of your choice. The employees will take care of loading, and while they try to be mindful of your car's load capacity, that's something you'll want to know coming in. FIGURATIVE: The customer service is sincere and sweet! The lady we met in their spacious, air-conditioned building walked us outside to a patch of gravel we might have missed, explained the whole process mentioned earlier, and invited us to ask questions as needed. The guys who helped load were as friendly as they were efficient. And the real kicker--they've accounted for the Kids! There's a Dig Zone on the north side of the building where our Kiddo hung out for a little bit. It would be even better with some sort of cover overhead but that it's there at all is so cool. For your landscaping needs, go 'by the yard' for service ans selection that go the extra mile!

Absolutely Love Our New Patio and Pergola!…read more We couldn't be happier with our new extended patio and pergola! From start to finish, the team was professional, friendly, and detail-oriented. The design process was smooth--they really listened to our ideas and brought them to life perfectly. Even my idea of adding sliding wood paneled door for the "windy" side of the patio. The craftsmanship is outstanding--the materials are top-quality, and every detail looks flawless. The pergola provides just the right amount of shade, and the extended patio has completely transformed our outdoor space into a place we actually use and enjoy every day. Can't forget to mention some of the most reasonable prices for quality of work! The crew showed up on time, kept the worksite clean, and finished right on schedule. You can tell they take real pride in their work. If you're thinking about adding a patio or pergola, I can't recommend this company enough. They turned our backyard into our favorite "room" of the house!

2/11/2026. Another Review Update: After 3 days the City of Ovilla found the Inspection report for…read moremy Patio extension. The City had previously provided the incorrect information to me. The City had signed off on the project. Apparently, the inspection report was filed under the wrong patio extension. I thanked the City for their due diligence in assisting with this issue. My apology to Texas Patios Plus for including the incorrect information from the City. However, I was informed the City Inspector only checked the framing, not the actual material installed on the roof. This was explained to me after I asked the question why would the City sign off on felt material on a low sloping roof when the industry standard material required for a flat roof is the ice and water shield to prevent leaks from standing water. The bottom line is I am still dealing with a sagging, leaking roof after less than 2 years that I paid $61K for because the wrong material was installed on a low sloping roof. I have had text discussions with Texas Patios Plus to come out and assess the damage to the roof and to provide a path forward. I can only ask and hope they do whatever is necessary to assist with this costly repair issue. We trusted Texas Patios Plus to deliver a quality patio. My husband is a disabled Veteran and the stress of this situation has affected his health. $61k is a lot to pay for a patio and in less than 2 years have to deal with a major problem.

On the others side they had all of the trees and bushes, some we've not see elsewhere. They had a Chocolate Mimosa tree that we've been wanting for our lot, tho no price, and we forgot to ask. They had a weeping peach tree, super cool, haven't seen one of those, it had fruit on it as well, tho online sites say the fruit is purely decorative only and not edible. Prices were actually really good, especially on the perineal flowers and the bushes. $8.00 for some of the 1 gallon plants, and all are well grown and healthy. Can beat that price elsewhere. We talked to some of the staff for some time in the office about plants and landscaping, listen to them and them listening to us in regard to our extensive landscaping at our residence. We wanted to see about a Cascade Falls Cypress, which is a weeping cypress tree, they didn't have any in stock, that's no fault of there's, as it's a rare tree that's hard to find, partly because they take years of growth before they can even sale a 3 foot tree. They have a supplier that has them but can't get any until next year. We will return to check on that tree as well as get some other good deals. They have a lot of hardscape items, flagstone, landscape stone, rocks, etc. this is a really nice place.

Most of the things you get from them are half dead and stressed before you get them home. However, A & M nursery plants just blow my mind! The family is so friendly and anxious to help. The selection is amazing. But the most important thing is the plant material is beautiful and healthy after you get it home and it will continue to live. I can't wait to my next visit!!! PS: if you think their prices are too high, then take a minute and realize how each plant started as a seed or a cutting has been cared for to be the magnificent plants you get to take home.
