It's you're basic everyday 7 Eleven, but what makes this place great in particular is the convenience it offers nearby tourists. Anyone staying at the hotels across the street has immediate access to all of the snacks, treats and drinks 7 Eleven offers. That's huge because there isn't a whole hell of alot near the hotels. Food options in particular are very limited. Oh yeah, I also loved the fact that they offered gas at a reasonable price. I'm definitely a fan of this place. For those unfamiliar with Wawa, Wawa is a gas station and yet it is so much more than your typical gas station. The strongest appeal to a Wawa is their food counter which puts a lot of their emphasis on their subs. Since Wawa is from the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area, Wawa calls these sandwiches "hoagies." Whether you want to call it a hoagie or a sub, they are still pretty good, especially when compared to the food at other gas stations. My go-to sub (or hoagie) is their Italian, though I have had their cheesesteaks more than once. I wiuod definitely recommend either of these subs (or hoagies). In addition to their subs (or hoagies), Wawa slots offers several other items from this food area. They also have the usual convenience store items inside. All in all, I will give this particular location five stars.

Wow…read more Stopped for gas. My last stop of a 2300 mile trip. They didn't answer in the radio so I called on the phone to let them know I was coming in the front door with a pretty good headwind. A girl verified they indeed had fuel and hung up. Got to the dock and tied up, no one in sight. I start filling one tank and the pump is barely pumping. Stopped, gave it time to prime (half a dozen times) but couldn't get it to pump. Still no one around. Get back off the boat and go find a worker to help. She said she would be right out and I returned to my vessel. A few minutes later she approached my boat dragging a different fuel hose. She stops 5' short of my stern, extends her arm out and shoulder height and pulled the trigger to FULL. Aiming ahead of herself onto their floating dock she exclaims that this one working better. As gas is now splattering all over me, my boat, and their dock I was in awe when she handed me the nozzle and walked back towards the office. Sad to see just how bad society has completely lost respect for our environment. I totally blame management for the lack of proper training and employing people that have no business working there. It used to be a real job, a fuel dock worker. Now we let any warm body willing to work for minimum wages.

I have yet to use the bathrooms but my dad and I come here for frozen yogurt and we were sitting down and eating when I was looking around and noticed how clean the floors were. There is a nice selection of drinks, beers, and snacks. You can't go wrong with the frozen yogurt. I can't remember the exact price but it is unlimited toppings and yogurt for under $10. That is a steal. I am a big fan of froyo so I couldn't help but give 5 starts for the froyo, cleanliness and Ed & Jessica. I just had crown work at the dentist and wanted to treat myself with frozen yogurt. My favorite sea salt caramel pretzel flavor had been out on my last visit a month or so ago. I decided to check again and was elated when I saw the flavor back on the wall. I pulled the handle but nothing came out. I held it down and then when it went back up, a small dollop came out. I tried this again and again and only had a few sad lumps in my cup. I went to the front and told Ed what was going on and asked if he could help. I said no worries though if not, I don't want to be a bother. He said that it wasn't a problem and started trying to fix the machine. He was actually putting forth good effort unlike most employees elsewhere. Nowadays, it is very hard to find motivated employees or they would have taken the easy way out and stayed behind the counter. Ed was enthusiastic about helping me. He then got the attention of Jessica who came over to assist in helping. She was smiling and was also truly trying to get the machine fixed. I was shocked as I know the employees don't make much money yet they were kind and friendly and eager to help me. Jessica eventually got it fixed and I expressed how happy I was and how grateful I was for her assistance. She loudly said yayyyyy when it was fixed and I gladly joined in! What a great team. They deserve to be acknowledged for going the extra mile.

And if you're low on gas and made it this far, you'll likely pay just about any price to get you out of this middle of nowhere because there's not much for another 20 or so miles to the west. The convenience store had the convenient things including a cooler with cold water. Perfect for the rest of my journey eastwards.
