Mike and his team at Progressive literally worked their magic - I cannot believe this is the same car- they helped me pick out new rims and completely detailed it - the headlights look brand new- actually the whole car looks brand new - I was very impressed by their knowledge and care to not take short cuts and do the best for the car. As a woman it's scary sometimes to go into car workshops - this company is highly professional and easy to do business with. My first two times at this repair shop with this new vehicle,. I have taken my other vehicles here before without any incident or should I say surprises. A oil change for the first time visit and oil change and tire rotation now the second visit. When I went in for an oil change and tire rotation. It was about $175. I thought that was high, but I was in and out in under 30 minutes. It was a quick stop, fast and courteous service . I do hate to sit at the dealership for hours. They have 4 or 5 levels of oil service and I get the second level religiously not the premium. Everything was an add-on, removing the skid plates, 10-15 dollars each. I was told the plates block the mechanic from doing the oil change. Each plate has 10 or 12 bolts that have to be removed and then replaced. I've never had to have skid plates removed before The cost for the oil filter 10-15 dollars plus the oil 89.99 and 1 extra quart of oil, I have no idea what that charge was for an extra quart of oil Usually when I get a price for an oil change it's the complete job not à la carte. Service person said "you have the "big engine" which is a 2.5 liter 4 cylinder engine. This is My first 4 cylinder vehicle. This is the smallest engine vehicle I've ever bought. I've owned many automobiles in my time. My last three vehicles, one had. A 5.7 liter engine, the second vehicle had a 3.5 liter engine and the third vehicle had a 5 liter engine. I lost all three in the hurricane. I felt a little taken advantage of. So the oil change was about $125 and the tire rotation another $50 my best guess. I don't ever recall paying that much for an oil change and tire rotation. read more

On a Saturday, with most repair shops closed, we took our 2009 Saturn to Progressive. The oil pressure light came on. ( I had to drive my son the the airport 45 miles away. I was concerned we wouldn't make it. There are few options for public transportation to the airport ) At Progressive, a mechanic checked out the car immediately. Although they were about to close and didn't have a part in stock, he put my mind to ease. He topped off the fluids and inflated the tires. He said the car would make it back to Chicago. Also he got the oil pressure light to go off. We made it round trip to the airport with no issues. Progressive is an honest group of mechanics. My car was filthy inside and out from my trip from Buffalo to Marco Island, so I decided to give them a try. The price was reasonable and the process was very quick. Im very happy with the service. While checking in I asked if there was someone that could check my antifreeze level, because I noticed a small amount on my driveway. They sent me next door to the oil change department. It wasn't busy when I pulled up, and the mechanic said of course he would check it for me. He topped off my overflow chamber and explained what happened and why. Every single time I've stood at the desk and NOBODY acknowledged me even though they're was a man at the desk who did look at me reach time. I've waited up to 10 minutes and eventually walked out. My car was brought in on a flat bed with two blown tires. The tires went flat after hitting a curb. They replaced the tires without alignment. One month later the tires wore down to the metal. They replaced tie rod, tires and did an alignment. The car pulls to the right and they won't fix it. Thousands of dollars later and I have to go to another dealership. read more

You do not know who to trust. . Often repairs are done that are not necessary. I have been there,,,,many of my friends have been there. That is where Brad comes in. I leave my vehicle in Florida and my friend takes it for a spin every few weeks to insure that all is well. The last time he took it out he noticed that my AC wasn't blowing cold air. It's happened before but I've been avoiding "the big fix" because I only put a few thousand miles a year on it. I called Manny at Progressive and told him my friend would be dropping it off for a AC charge. They took care of it in under 24 hours and submitted a bill for $159, which was very reasonable. Got oil change and my fault for not asking first. Pulled car in for oil change and was told to wait in waiting room. When it was ready in 15 minutes they said it was 93.00 for the oil change. They put synthetic in without asking, which I know is more expensive. They shouldn't upsell without asking and I should make sure I know what the price is before starting. I like this place they are quick but sometimes the line is crazy. They do a good job comparable to other car washes. The prices are okay maybe a little high but I think they are the only car wash on Marco and things are a little more expensive in general. I purchased a prepay card so you buy like 10 up front and get one free which that is cool. They are very nice here. I just wish they were open in Sunday's even a short day for us working class not everyone is retired and can get their car washed in a Tuesday lol but again that's standard for Marco. read more

Very disappointed in quality of car wash. Paid $17.50 for Full Service and my car was not clean. I could see dirt along driver's side door as I was waiting. They told me it was done and I had to ask them to clean off the dirt. After I left I discovered they never opened the hatch to wipe it down. I had dirty water dripping all over when I put my groceries in the back. They basically ran it thru the wash so doors, front fender, and back didn't get very clean. About the same result as a self serve drive thru car wash. Definitely not worth the money. read more

Usually I go to Calyspo's to get any kind of work done on my car, but since they closed down I haven' t been able to take my car there. I decided to try Progressive Auto because it was near my job and offers the same services that Calyspo had with a free wash. Upon entering, I was taken care of by Carlos. Not only was he rude, but he was pushing more expensive oil changes on me even though I had made it clear that I only wanted the $40 regular one. He then proceeded to tell me that "we are not responsible for any damage to your engine" which I thought was quite weird because all I needed was an oil change... also I had never been told anything like that at Calyspo's. While he was inspecting my engine he asked me if I wanted to change my air filter and I said okay, but then changed my mind. I guess that made him upset? Because after he finished my oil change, he had me turn on my car and mysteriously my 2017 Altima that I've barely had for a year, didn't want to start, because my "battery was dead". Quite strange considering I've never had that issue, or any issue with this car since I got it. He proceeded to tell me that I would need to purchase an entire new battery from them or he could just "recharge it" for me. No way was I going to purchase a new battery when I was almost positive that there was nothing wrong with mine... so he "recharged it" and I took off. Interestingly enough, my battery has not died nor has it had any issues and my car runs perfectly fine. Apparently a cap in my engine was "missing when I got there". Which I know isn't true. Because I don't ever open the hood of my car, nor does anyone else since you have to push a button inside to pop the hood. So not only was Carlos aggressive and rude, but he tampered with my car battery on purpose and misplaced a cap in my engine. He didn't even remember to give me back my debit card when I paid, so I have no doubt in my mind that he misplaced my cap or threw it out on purpose. Overall I had a bad experience, was treated with bad customer service, and almost tricked. I'm also a young girl, if you understand where I'm getting at. read more

Absolutely the worst car carwash I have ever been to. I simply asked for them to ensure that the center consul was wiped down and the floor to be vacuumed. When I re-entered the car I found that they didn't vacuum or clean anything on the interior of the car. There was dirt still on the floor, the windows still had fingerprints and the seats and center console couldn't have possibly been touched. Worst car was I have ever been to!!!! Definitely no stars here . The service was terrible and the supposed manager was not only rude but very belittling as well. As soon as I approached him about my problem with their service he somehow knew what vehicle I was referring to without even mentioning it. It appears to me that unless you pull in with a Maserati Ferrari or Mercedes Benz your vehicle is not as important and is treated as such. As soon as I told him that no wax was ever applied to the roof of the car his statement to me was, well its not a $250 detail job. This is the attitude they have when their sign specifically states wax and polish I will never recommend them to anyone in fact I will go one further I will make sure any and all media apps online we'll see this review.
