Mike asked me for my groupon (I did buy the deal from that site) after that two guys started to work on my car. They spend like an hour doing my detailing and waxing, and I have no words to describe how good I felt when they gave me my car back. It was spotless (considering the situation that my car was to begin with). They also gave some recommendations so that next time I visit them have those in mind to make the overall look of my car better. I would definitively visit them again. I wish I read these reviews before coming to Tint World. We were told $100 over the phone to remove and retint two windows, only two. Brought the car in, they retinted the 2 windows, then upon pickup they told me the price was $225. This was a surprise since we were told $100 over the phone. Not to mention they had marketing displays up for basic retint of an entire car for $150, premium tint for $175, and superior tint for $250. But yet somehow retinting my 2 windows was more than the cost of tinting an entire car and more than double what was quoted over thephone. When I asked about the prices on the display boards I was told "those prices are not correct, they have gone up, have you gone to Publix lately and seen the prices?" in sort of condescending way. Went to install an alarm system. They talked me into getting a very expensive system. While waiting for it to be installed I happened to walk into the Bay Area and found Nick and another employee attempting to unglued a remote that was attached to a display that had been hanging in the main waiting area to install with an alarm system that was. It the one I had been talked into getting. This was a display model that was inferior to the one they were charging me for. I was disgusted and let Nick know that this was unacceptable. I am a disabled military veteran and he knew it and I feel was trying to take advantage of me. I left the store and will never go back there again. I would give them 0 stars if possible. This was the worst tint job I've ever had in my life!!! The warranty states guaranteed not to bubble?? I had bubbles everywhere! They even short cut a window 1/4 inch. When I went back to have then evaluate the situation, they laughed in my face and said it looked fine to them. I really like this place.I love the way my car looks after they added my ceramic tints ( which I might say it was worth the money).However after I had my tints on my car done the first time..I notice a small issue on my driver side window. I brought it to their attention and Nick and his partner were very accommodating and corrected my issue right away at no cost. I give this "business" two stars, as the quality of the tint is good. However, I was quoted the two door vehicle price on the phone, although I had given my make and model. Once at the location, the price went up without any accommodations, even when I pointed out that also the ceramic treatment was misquoted. Gladly I didn't choose it. The crown jewel of disappointment was an additional 3.x percent surcharge for paying with a credit card. So what was quoted at $249, became a $319 outing. read more

Tint World is by far the worst company I have dealt with. I chose them based upon reviews and was completely regret it. I wanted to black out my new black '17 Infiniti Q50. I asked for wheels, black out my chrome exterior of car, and tint headlights and tail lights. I chose the financing deal and paid extra $182 cash that day because Snap Financing didn't cover the costs and agreed on an appointment day Nov. 20 at 8am, when they open, so they could do all the work that day... Well as soon as the owner drafted the Snap document to sign (Nov.17), he called me to tell me that I needed to sign so that they could have the money for the job to do while they waited on the wheels to be shipped. They tried to charge me for the $182 I paid in shop again. I told them and he apologized and re-drafted it correctly. So I took it on Nov.20 and they said they'll have it done before 5pm. I call back in the afternoon and the owner says that all the work is complete, and they were waiting on black lug-nuts that fit my wheels (distributor sent wrong size). They apologize and say tomorrow it will be done. The next day I patiently wait, and I call around 3pm and other manager, Nick says they still haven't received the package and everything was done except one door of chrome. So clearly everyone is lying saying it's done and it's not. Nick says tomorrow it will be done. I said I needed my car for work and he said he could do nothing for me and claiming shipping was the problem. The next day I patiently wait and I am pissed off. I call and I suggest the idea of them going around town and finding black lug-nuts for my car. Nick drove to Ft. Myers to get some and called me while I was at work. I told him I could pick it up after work if he left my keys on my tire; because it was the day before Thanksgiving and they were closed for the rest of the weekend. I went to go pick up my car after work and not all chrome was blacked out. What chrome was blacked out, looked like shit with plastidip all over my car and already peeling and chrome shining everywhere. My lights weren't tinted. They chipped a piece of paint on my handle. They chipped my black wheel. I had to wait til the 27th to show them the problems. They claim we didn't agree to tint on my lights when we did; they didn't include it in words on my invoice but included it in the cost. (My fault for not reading the invoice before signing it) Nick said, they didn't chip my handle when they clearly did. Nick also said they didn't chip my wheel. He agreed my chrome looked like shit and that he would refund my chrome cost on the 30th when the owner returns from vacation. I went on the 30th and the owner said I was lucky to get money back when I asked for more to cover taxes I paid for when he was already low balling me. Had my car taken here a few months ago for a detail, to get my windows tinted, and to get my lights blacked out. The guy working the front desk (I believe it might have been the owner) was a super friendly and talkative guy. Now about the car: For starters, I own a husky. I've had several road trips in my car with this dog. His hair is really difficult for me to get out, and even another detailer I took it to couldn't get all of the hair out. This place not only got it all out, but they took detailing to another level. They removed my seats to make sure they got every little thing. Now, the tint on my car was done beautifully. No bubbling, and a really fair price for everything that was done. Will definitely go back here to have work done on future vehicles. read more

Brought my car in for window tinting. The job had air bubbles and 3 creases on 3 separate windows. Brought it back and they said this is 'within their 5% defect rate'. they replaced one window but left the others. Car was also returned with the windows filthy. If I could rate a NEGATIVE review I would! STAY AWAY! I purchased 'second market' wheels, and Mercedes Benz logo caps for the center of the wheels. I also purchased caliper coating at the same time. I paid in advance for these products. Recently one of the Mercedes Benz logo's was lost and another is hanging off loose. I went back to the Tint World on Davis Blvd. in Naples only to be told in no uncertain terms that the was 'no record' of my purchase? The new owner denies that I ever purchased anything. Further he shared that the prior owner's soft ware must have not 'file merged' into the software he's now using. The upshot is there would be NO WARRANTY for the products purchased for over $2000! I would not go back to Tint World on Davis for anything at all. Not even acknowledging my purchase should tell you all you need to know about this store. CAVEAT EMPTOR--LET THE BUYER BEWARE! Purchased a Groupon @ $35 for a "Premium" auto detailing Pkg.(40% off) that comes with an additional coupon for $75 off their "Ultimate" tint pkg. When I called to make an appointment they had me in within a few hours, wow! Upon arrival my vehicle was inspected and I was offered wheel cleaning and dressing at an additional cost of $25. When I mentioned that the Groupon ad specified wheel cleaning included in the "Premium " detail I was told that that was only for the front of the wheels, it didn't include the back, I begrudgingly accepted. I was also offered window tinting, no pressure, just information. The cost for fresh tint including removing the old and installing their best product to all windows came to right about $480 which included the Groupon $75 off, I declined. The owner and staff were professional and courteous, the facility very clean and well organized, thumbs way up! My "Premium" auto detailing was decent but nothing to write home about. After leaving I noticed that my interior windows had not been cleaned, I returned immediately and they took care of it on the spot. After further inspection at home I noticed that the outside windows had a film on them and spotting. I'm sure they were washed but after rinsing and drying they were not "Windex" cleaned and the front windshield still had some small dry bug splatters that were missed. My carpets were vacuumed, the leather seating was not vacuumed nor dressed but that's OK because it's not included in the "Premium" pkg. The center console area near the gear selector was not cleaned nor the shifting lever boot sleeve, the rest of the dash looked fine but the nooks and crannies were overlooked as were the slats on the ac vents. There was also a few dried bug splatters still on the the front bumper and sport cowling that were not removed. The car was an 09 Mercedes E350, well maintained inside and out. I'm not trying to be anal and you can only expect so much for $35 but attention to detail is why we pay for a detail. Don't get me wrong, the car looks great, Carlos did a NICE job but after chipping in an extra $25 for the wheels (that rubbed me the wrong way), a shop supply fee of $3 and a $10 tip, I ended up paying $73 and still need to finish the detail myself. If it wasn't for Groupon this mini detail would have run me around $100, I can get a full detail at my home for that. I would have been thrilled at $73 if the minor stuff had not been missed. FYI, the wheels look awesome, it was worth the extra $25. read more

Was quoted 350 for a simple installation, then once said device was installed was told it will now be 650 dollars. Bc it "was more work then expected", even though they got done in HALF THE TIME that they originally told me. They do not stand by their word which says volumes on what kind of place this is. Never did they tell me anything of the sort before hand. They gave me a quote and then doubled it, and weren't trying to hear anything. This is how they do things I guess. My fault for not doing more research bc according to their google reviews, I'm not the first person they pulled this with. But they got their money, bc what choice did I have? They had my car. Will never ever recommend anyone to go here unless you want to be treated like a sucker and taken advantage of. I felt welcome from the time I arrived and the team there never pressured me to buy the most expensive product. I ended up with the carbon tinting product and so far, it is outstanding. They did the work very quickly and the price was reasonable. I really felt like these are honest and straight-talking guys. I would definitely recommend them to my friends. Came in today to redeem my Groupon express detailing (30 min hand wash). Was immediately told my car was dirty (that is why I wanted it washed), with some visible mud on the rear rocker panel and they could not wash the car with the Groupon. I went out and with my finger and spit showed the light coating of dirt easily came off and I wanted the Groupon honoured. I was told I should cancel my Groupon and rebook a $150 detailing package. What I paid to the original groupon would not be applied to the new package. They had already up-sold the person ahead of me and that was why they were late on doing my car. It looks more like a bait and switch routine. I was quite disappointed, went down a block and washed, waxed, hand dried and vacuumed my car at another facility myself in about 15 minutes.....and it looked great!!! It seems that the $15 groupons are a way to get customers in the door to up sell them to a more expensive service. Saw the owner's response, it is false. I never expected a $150 job, just what the Groupon offered, a hand car wash. The car was not exceptionally dirty. I had not driven cross country without cleaning it. I went to Rick's Carwash a block away and was able to get the car back to fantastic myself in 15 minutes with their self car wash and vacuum for about $6. Still going there every week. I note he hoped the Groupons would lead to further business. The fact that my car is out of state is probably one reason why there was a refusal. I notice that their comments on another complaint was to try and shame the groupon buyer. If you offer a Carwash service on Groupon and all the customer wants is the service purchased, failing to upsell to a $150 package is not a rationale for failure for refusing to accept the Groupon....it is more a situation of bait and switch. And no, Groupon did not agree with Tint World, they were concerned with how I was treated and refunded my purchase. read more

I first called for a quote and left a message. Manny returned my call and was very pleasant and informative. He gave me a quote and I called a week later for an appointment. I came in for the appointment and met with Nick who was also very nice. He did not try to up-sale me and he honored the quote. I have been very pleased with the work. Usually use another shop but this one was closer to my work so thought I'd give it a try. Bad idea. If you do decide to waste your money here make sure the owner is present. Apparently if he is not in the shop everyone forgets not only how to do their jobs but how to talk to customers. Took my brand new truck in for a full tint. Since the dealership won't do windshields or dark enough tint. $400 later.... Multiple scratches on the windshield where the eye brow was (which was taken off without consent because the dealership tint is crap and was bubbling, which I never saw one bubble but I did notice the many scratches). Not only that but it looks like whomever cut the outline could not see very well as the tint doesn't not reach the borders of the windshield leaving noticeable gaps in the corners and the top. It doesn't stop there, the driver side window has a nice line were the tint was cut too short allowing that wonderful Florida sun to come pouring in. Not to mention the many other bubbles on almost every other window with the crooked cut lines. Now that is just the tint job. When I picked up my truck the XM radio was not working the tail gate was down (even though no one opened it) and my back up camera was not working at all. I asked the gentleman working what happened, "I don't know, all we did was throw tint on it. Isn't it under warranty? Just take it in." After having to hear that irritating answer over my next few questions I decided to leave and contact the owner, whom had originally responded to my first online request. He was very understanding and handled my angry very well in the beginning. As you could imagine he offered me to come back and have it fixed. I declined and hoped for some kind of refund as I stated I do not feel comfortable having his staff work on my truck again. To which he begin to defend his immature staff and quickly brushed me off. Tint World installed amazing front and rear cameras that work perfectly through the stock BMW 335 navi system. The rear camera goes on in reverse and is better than in most new cars. The front camera works with a nearly-hidden switch to protect my new custom front bumper from curbs. I also had the windows tinted, and that job too was flawless. read more

I would be willing to rate Tint World better if only I had had the experience to do so. I ordered a $35 premium car wash from Groupon and went to redeem it. A gentleman inspected my car and came to the conclusion that it was "too dirty" for them to detail. Naturally, I would not bring them a clean car because I needed it detailed. He said the Groupon didn't cover things like getting bugs off the front and mold off the top. This was never disclosed in the Groupon fine print. He also stated that it would take two men two to three hours to clean the car sufficiently, which would be worth hundreds of dollars. I didn't know there were standards regarding how dirty a car could before someone to clean it and uphold their end of the agreement they made with a third party coupon distributor. Hopefully, Groupon gives me back my money. I did find a $6 car wash inside and out. Maybe after I clean it myself a few times they'll go ahead and detail it for me? What a joke! At least next time put it in the fine print "cars are at our discretion of being too dirty for us to want to clean." read more

Ok, im glad you wrote back , i did state the rims are in great shape tires also, the sensors your saying you put on dont exist this car does not have sensors in the wheels on the statement it says you charged me 40 buks for each tire meaning taking the sensors of each wheel and putting them on the new ones wich your mechanic did not have to do just mount the new rims to the new tires and take the old wheels and tire so yes there were hidden fees charge 40 per tire to put the so call sensors that dont exist , the lug nuts your trained salesman said i needed new one which I didn't you use my old ones , when i approached to you about it you said you could not do nuthing about them i have to keep them , thats not very good customer service if you ask me , your stating you installed the mud flaps for me , thankss its three screws the wheels were of alredy, you have no clue how to work on a car your just the owner , your employees/ sertified mechanics are hard workers they know what their doing, and yes i did go back the next day it was making a very loud noise wich was not normal if you ask me i should have no had to go back 2 times for this simple procedure of taking four wheels of and putting new ones on, tires and wheels were 1200 , i paid 300 for mouting them and balance them alittle pricy if you ask me , inconclution their were hidden fees , sensors that dont exist and lug nuts the were not needed, dont have a problem with you or your staff , just would not recommend you to noone here in town , im not the fist person to give you a bad review, read more
