Triad Refrigeration came to my house and gave me a diagnosis on my refrigerator. The parting words…read morewere, "now, if that doesn't solve the problem, give us a call back." Well, I did and they would not return my phone call. Finally, I resorted to contacting the more expensive authorized repair service for my brand refrigerator. After 30 minutes, the technician diagnosed the problem which, unfortunately, is going to cost me a new refrigerator. This second technician took the time to explain and show me the exact problem (for which I have some knowledge). Had Triad bothered to take the panel off inside the freezer, they would have seen that the evaporative coils were hopelessly iced up, indicating that the system had some sort of blockage. Thank you, Triad Refrigeration, for ripping me out of $50 for nothing!

He found the part and ordered it from a vendor in Charlotte and replaced it himself. I'm happy to report that the refrigerator has been running great ever since. Many friends/family have since reported similar experiences with repair people who suggest buying new vs repair. I understand their position because things are often not made to last. But it's an expensive option, so do some research. Again, Max was nice and did help us figure out what was needed.

I highly recommend Thompson Appliance Service. Both Joy and Chris went above and beyond in getting…read moremy fridge fixed. They even went as far as calling LG I don't know how many times in order to get the broken parts replaced under warranty from LG. Joy was very nice and always communicated with me and was very positive even though LG was terrible to work with, and clearly tried hard to get out of replacing the parts. Kevin came out and fixed the new parts in the fridge and took extra time in making sure everything worked - I even called him back because I was worried that he forgot to call me about payment. It turns out that he was just taking his time making sure everything worked properly :-o I cannot say enough good things about my experience with this company.

I trusted them to fix my A/C. They betrayed that trust by replacing a fan motor (new) that they…read morehad just installed a year earlier relating to my heating system. I was told that this is why my AC was not working properly, and it was a more powerful motor and it would take time to work at peak efficiency. So after two motors, my A/C still did not work. Additionally, their response time is awful. When they finally came by several days later and after many phone calls they told me I either needed an entire new system or to take a chance and start replacing parts they would start at about $1,000 and up. He told me that by running the unit with only hot air coming out, I ruined the condenser. He already knew I was running the unit with only hot air coming out and never advised me to stop. I got suspicious when he asked me to feel the top of the condenser to prove the condenser was bad. He said ,see how hot it is. I felt it and it was cool. HERE IS THE CATCH AND THE DECEPTION!!! I called another company for a second opinion, they resolved the issue in 15 minutes by flipping a switch that sits above the outside unit. This resolved the problem instantaneously. So A1, being the only other company that worked on my unit, either Intentionally flipped the switch to the off position, to trick me into buying a new unit, or giving them the benefit of the doubt, they were grossly negligent. I had already planned to sell my car to get the new unit A1 recommended. Additionally A1 new my wife and I were suffering during the extreme heat. They did not care, a dishonest dollar meant more to them than a customers well being. I did sue them in small claims court and would have won, but the court system failed to notify me of the court date, so I lost by my absence. It is no wonder why this business is not registered with the BBB. What cheats.

K owing we already paid $873. .. . We recvd 2 emails from the so called manager , Josh's wife. But we never heard anything back from Josh Hauser under his 10 guarantee. I would never recommend this company for any work needed to be done . He was referred to us by his friends and almost family . But , I would never recommend Josh Hauser or anyone in his company. They are useless as they come when it comes to his 10 day guarantee and him not coming back to complete his job unless we paid more money . I told him in a text that I would be contacting the BBB for him not returning to complete his job under his 10 day guarantee. Because we are 50 minutes away . Oh well. You should always finish what you started. You were paid. Josh probably damaged our lines that he snaked through knowing he should had not done that, and that's why he didn't want to come back . Word of mouth can be good or bad and damaging, but if you don't do right and keep your word . It's useless, and your word is useless to us . You probably knew exactly that you damaged our lines and just wasn't gonna come back to fix your mistakes if that is what happened here . Good luck on your business, I hope this helps where no one will call on you or your company for anything. You will never be refunded by us . Terrible in his guarantee , TERRIBLE!!
