Triad Electronics Services is WONDERFUL!!!!!!! I had 2 Go Videos which has a DVD/ VHS player in each. They are old BUT Triad Electronics resurrected both of them. Then I brought them an 8 Track player I bought in 1978. I now have a "new" one due to their electronic repair superb abilities. Then I brought them a Sabrent External Drive for my computer that I thought I fried...... They again resurrected it. TES is the Greatest!!!!!!!!!!! AND they did not charge an arm or leg for any of the repairs. The repair guy and the front lady and the rest of the employees are sooooo very NICE and understanding. Go somewhere else to get an appliance repaired. We had a drainage problem with our LG clothes washer. Repairman came out, said the washer was fixed, and left before testing it through a full wash cycle. Turns out, it wasn't fixed and the washer still won't drain. I called and they won't do anything to help here. Said they're sorry and will "note this in the repairman's file". Told me they would call me the next day to discuss and they didn't even bother to call me back. I had to call them back. Their attitude was not good and it seemed they could care less. I'm going elsewhere to get the repair done. read more

The replacement part came in when they said it would, the technician who came out appeared to be very competent, he replaced the part on our refrigerator, and so far we have not had any problems. I was concerned because I read the reviews before he came, but our experience with Triad Electronics Services has been good. Many bad reviews for this LG repair service, but in my case, it was OK. Technician / Owner arrived at the stated time, was fast and the repair worked as stated. On the high end price wise, but as it fixed the TV at a cost pre determined by me as acceptable, it was a green light. The owner is not the most customer satisfaction orientated I have ever met, but as stated, the repair worked in the end so all was well. One note: When the broken part was replaced in the TV, some of the TV settings were changed and had to be reset manually. Initially it was assumed that the repair did not work, but a few phone calls and that problem was fixed. Still running. read more

Incompetent, breech of contract lied about parts not being available so I call the appliance parts department and found parts were available and on shelves. Never supplied written estimate as stated never returned my calls or email. All they wanted was the $90 service fee for 15 minutes and complaint about how difficult they had with a similar job. Scam operation they just wanted the easy money. Then their service tech fat ass David had to used our bathroom and stopped the f****** commode up. Man up or get the hell out. I took my $600, 4 year old reciever in after a lightening strike fried it. George (owner) said it's $40 to trouble shoot, but was prob a bad hdmi board, which may be expensive. They did some diagnostics, discovered it WAS a fried hdmi board. They priced the replacement board at $375, and labor at $100 minus $40 diagnostic fee that they apply to repair costs. I'm thinking that's too much to spend. They agreed. You can get an updated version, new, for just a little more. But they hooked it up to some speakers and played from a cd. So George said, take it home and listen to radio, cds, Bluetooth (analog input) and enjoy. Thats what I'm doing. Sound advice, pardon the pun. I found them to be reasonable, professional and personable. It was my first time there. After reading other reviews, I started not to go. But other hi fi, home entertainment pros I know and trust insisted they were good folks. And MY experience backed up what the PROS said. read more

Don't go here to repair your projector. The wait times are outrageous (our projector was in and out of there for 3 weeks and the end recommendation was "donate to charity"). They never call you with an update (you always need to call), and you'll be making several calls before receiving any kind of useful update on what they're doing. Our story: we had an issue with our projector's image, it would degrade after being turned on for 20-30 minutes. The first time we were in there, they got back to us after a longer than 2 week wait with the diagnosis that there was nothing wrong with our projector. So I thought, it must be the cables. I buy all new cables and component adaptor, same problem. Just playing the CD (which isolates the issue to the projector itself since no cables are used), also resulted in the image failure. I took before and after photos and brought them in. They said they would look to replicate the issue again. Another week of waiting and no calls or updates, and they insist they can't replicate the issue. I finally call in and tell them I would like to show them the problem in person. Of course, as soon as I show up for this, they announce that they have finally found the issue. The problem is, they say that, after an hour of Googling, they can't find the part, and the best they can recommend is donating the projector to charity. Are you kidding me? For three weeks of wasting our time, $65 goes out the window for a diagnosis a kid on the street could have given me for free. Stay clear of this place! read more

Dropped off an LG Monitor for repair. Paid $40 to get estimate on repair. They said 3 to 4 days. It's 10 days now and now they are saying another 2 weeks to just get an estimate. Unacceptable. read more

Never call them. Worst service. The technician who came to us could not fix our Refrigerator even after a month and they closed the case without checking if the product is repaired inspite of the technician telling us that he will keep the case open until he hears from us. Initially the freezer was not functioning properly (that is why we raised a service request) but after he "replaced the fan", the entire refrigerator stopped working. This is not the first time. Same thing happened a few months back with our washer. The same technician does trial and error and tried to fix it. He took a month to finally fix the washer. Tries to give technical details on how the appliance functions, I am not interested to know the functionality, want my appliance to be repaired. We are stuck with them due to warranty and they are so shrud that when we asked for a different technician they said that they cannot send a different technician as that is the only technician who provides service in the area. I have used Triad Electronic for several years and am quite satisfied. They have always kept me up to date, by phone, on the repair cost and time it would take to repair. They are an authorized service center and busy place so you will probably not find same day service. They also are frank on whether an item to be repaired should be thrown out or fixed. read more

I see negative reviews on electronics, but my experience with George and his diagnostic ability saved me $450 on my 4-year old LG washing machine that would not drain water. First service tech from another company said it was a bad control board and gave me a $380 estimate. They later called and said if I wanted the board in less than 2 weeks it would raise the estimate to $450. I was referred to Triad Electronics by the national LG office. When I called and talked to George and told him it had been diagnosed as a control board failure, he said there was only a 3% chance of that being correct. He came the same day I called, and within 45 minutes had diagnosed the problem as a bad wiring connection to the pump and repaired it on the spot. A $175 fix vs $450 (and a two week wait) or buying a new washing machine. I can only say George was very professional and explained every thing he was doing as he went. I cannot recommend his washing machine service highly enough. read more

First, I will give credit to the Triad Electronics technician that came to the house and diagnosed the issue with our TV. He was professional and payment was rendered ($90) for the service he offered. He explained that a part would need to be replaced and installed and would cost an additional $325 ($170 for part itself). After some research, we decided it would not be worth the cost as new TVs are fairly inexpensive these days. We informed Triad Electronics that we would not be going forward with the repair and were met with unprofessionalism, bullying, and threats to "report you to the credit bureau" if a restocking fee was not paid. There was no mention of any restocking fee at the time of diagnostics and ordering of the part. IN fact, he could not even tell me how much this fee would be. And we had no contract holding us to complete the recommended repair. When the manager/owner was spoken to, we were met with the same level of disrespect and unprofessionalism. These people really give hardworking tradesmen a bad name and clearly they have no clue how to treat customers. We would NEVER recommend these people for your electronic repair. read more

Lacking in professionalism and customer service skills. I had taken in my DVD player because it was showing an error code. They said they had cleaned it and reset it and it was fine. Picked it up, brought it home, same error code. When I went back in and asked for a refund, the woman became flustered and tense -- said she couldn't give a refund because she was the wife of the owner, not the owner. As we stood there at an impasse, I said to another customer that he should check his TV before he took it home. At this, she really lost it -- was overly hostile and aggressive. I just smiled and said I was making a recommendation. She stared at the computer for another minute and then started working on giving me my refund. Somehow she could finally do it! Anyway, if I had checked the DVD player before I left, it would have saved me a trip back out there. That should be part of the routine check-out process. read more
