The front desk, instructors, and even the people that go here are so nice and helpful since everything is so new to me. I don't feel worried about an injury or anything because they make sure you're using the equipment correctly and check your form. The gym is clean, there are cubbies to put your things away during class, and some merch at the front in case you need anything.

The Camp is so amazing and I will forever be grateful to the owners, staff, trainers and other members. ‍‍ I'm still not done with my health journey but this was what I needed to live a healthier life. Even though I regularly go to the gym, I needed more structure and support with my workouts. I saw…read morea review for The Camp Transformation Center on Yelp and thought why not? I signed up for the 6 week 20 lb challenge and just finished my 6 weeks yesterday and lost 25.7 lbs, yay! The Camp has exceeded my expectations. Plain and simple, stick with the program and you will see the results. The trainers (Julia, Nikki, and Charles) do a phenomenal job pushing you to challenge yourself in ways you didn't think possible. What I like about coming here is there's people on all different fitness levels but one common goal: to be healthy and fit. The 6 week challenge is tough as you will follow a strict diet as well as attending daily fitness classes. Luckily you have support every step of the way and it feels great to watch the pounds shed and your endurance grow. It's been amazing to see how much I really am capable of. The camp's motto is simple and sums it up perfectly: Stay Fit Don't Quit!

Over that time I have burned a total of 157,000 calories and have started to reach my fitness goals. The coaches are fun, energetic and encouraging during the workout and outside of the gym. Also, the people I workout with have become friends. If you are looking for a challenging, fun and rewarding workout experience then come and give them a try! J.Ham

I started working out with Kenny at Fit Therapy of Texas in late August because my frozen shoulder…read morehad gotten too painful. I'm no athlete, yet Kenny manages to work with my limited capabilities to get me stronger and more flexible. After little more than 8 weeks (despite me ignoring diet or aerobic exercise discipline), I managed to lose over 4% body fat working out three times a week with Kenny! I also lost over 2 inches on my hips-- and I'm 57! Now I am encouraged to keep going, to lose the weight I've gained since menopause, and to keep getting stronger and get my full range of motion back. With Kenny's training and expertise I get to benefit from diet recommendations (gum had carbs, who knew?) and yes, even aerobic exercise. I'm going to try jump roping with one that has a counter in the handle. I'm looking forward to being leaner and fitter in 2019.

The sessions were difficult since I hadn't worked out in a few years, but reinforced my thoughts that I needed to get back to the gym and I signed up for a year's worth of their small group training. I love the small class size and while the classes are tough, my body feels better, is definitely toning up and I sleep better too. I love the individual attention the small group classes allow and how they focus on different muscle groups each day. Every trainer I've worked with leading the classes has been excellent....encouraging and pushing me to increase my strength but modifying exercises when needed to avoid injury. I've just completed 2 months at Fit Therapy of Texas and am so happy I joined!

Although, I tried barre before, this is the first time that I am committed to it. PB instructors are very friendly and welcoming. They are more than happy to talk to you regarding your fitness goals and answer your questions regarding the choreography. The merch is beautiful and they have some sort of promotions and challenges going on all the time. It's a nice atmosphere with people of all ages sharing the roof. I'm waiting for fall, so that it finally cools down and we can see sunlight through the well ventilated studio! The only drawback is that they do not offer multiple morning classes, for people that want to workout somewhat early and start their day energized. They have a class at 5:30am and then at 8:30am. I would have appreciated if they offered a 6:30 or 7am class. Regardless, check out PB if you like barre, they are the best in the business!

What a cleansing detox and workout even if just a 15-minute Hot Stretch session…read more To start, I spoke with Tiffany, the manager, who was friendly and thorough in her explanation of the different types of sessions and her recommendations. This was extremely helpful since I had never done this before and had misjudged what it was. First, I advise if you have never done this to seek Tiffany's or another rep's guidance because although fulfilling, it can be brutal. Thank goodness I did. I began with the Hot Stretch and was not sure how I felt at first, but when my body settled down some from the heat, I embraced the cleanse, the calm, and the empowerment I felt from actually completing it. This motivated me to move up to Hot Yoga, Pilates, and one of the cardio sessions throughout the week. I enjoyed each of them. They also offer a gym area with free weights for a more inclusive workout. However, I am already a gym member elsewhere, and I still plan to sign up for the other benefits Hot Worx offers, mainly what is accomplished in a short period of time, the location, and the staff.

Classes go every 15 minutes and there was many options to choose from as well as a bathroom, small gym, and great membership prices.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by the owner Barry. As I explained that I was from out of state and only wanted a one-day usage, he generously offered the use of his facility for FREE. I respectfully refused because I was honored by his offer but more importantly, I wanted to show a return of respect to Barry for being an independent owner of a gym in this fitness business. Besides, you treat things of more value when you pay for them than receiving it for free; we negotiated a fair use of his gym for $10. This gym might be considered small to some but this place has some of the best and cleanest equipment anywhere. All the dumbells (up to 120lbs) are properly placed along with the seats in front. The power area has 1 Smith machine and one power rack; no stand alone flat bench press. The 45-lb plates are plentiful to fill the leg press and hack squat machine. There are various cable and weight machines to for specific muscle groups. The treadmills, elliptical machines, and stair climbers are more than adequate for anyone's cardio needs. A massage table is available for your post workout as well. This place has a great environment for a serious workout. The clientele are very nice and will spot you for a heavy lift if you ask. Please support this business because not only will it fulfill your fitness needs, but the owners are the best of people and we need more of that in this world.
