They have nearly 200 campsites and ONE set of showers. 2. The speed bumps are beyond ridiculous. Two humpers and high as Bob Marley. The Ugly: 1. The owners Jennifer and Brian Ellsworth are not friendly, hospitable or kind in any way shape or form. They are rude and condescending. In my 40 years of camping I have never been treated so poorly. 2. Brian is a narcissist who talks down to women. 3. The campground lost power on my electrical post and tried to blame ME for it. I own a Bulldog surge protector, yeah, so it wasn't me. If you are a woman travelling solo or a gay couple, stay far, far away from this homophobic place. So to be clear, we were actually renting one of the bedrooms inside the house. Shared bathroom and kitchen were part of the room rate. Definitely not my preferred travel choice but our options were limited. All -in- all it worked out because it was not a full house so we never had to battle access to either space. This property would be ideal for large families or friends traveling together. Tranquil setting, staffed office during daytime and furnished kitchen and toiletries, made traveling easy and pleasant.

Wendy and her son, Brad, who run the place are always friendly, cheerful, and extremely accommodating. We live in Phoenix and RV cross country every summer. This is one of the nicest RV parks we have ever stayed in! Last summer we were here for 4 days and loved it, so this summer we stayed for 2 weeks. We are definitely coming back here next summer and will do at least 2 weeks, possibly 3. If you're ever in New York's capital region this is definitely the park to stay in.

The best thing, Happy Days is only 4 miles from one of the greatest attractions in New York ....Bethel Woods, the 69' Woodstock Concert Field and the historic Woodstock Museum (which is a must see... you'll thank me later). The campgrounds are covered in pine trees, so you awake to great, fresh smelling air. It's very clean. The showers, bathrooms and rec room were immaculate. I drove my RV here, but on the premises, you can rent well restored, classical 3-wheel campers for a minimal fee and spend the night in camping luxury (and instead of my gas guzzling RV, I'll bring my car next time, instead and still save).... Tim, one of the owners, is great. From his story, he had no intention of running a campsite. He was in corporate management. He came to Happy Days as a kid. When the woman who owned the site told him, he'd have to find another place to camp next year ... the wheels went into motion. This campsite is Tim and his brother's baby and the care and the high standards they have also shows in their appreciation of their customers ... and I'm sure that comes from having originally been a customer of the campsite. Make sure you make reservations in advance, especially when Bethel Woods has a concert planned for the weekend. I was going to stay an extra day but I waited too long. The way you speak and handle situations is disgusting. This isn't our first time camping just our first time at Blue Mountain and will never be returning there again. We know how to follow rules and regulations but rules can be switched up at any time on how Melanie feels or if you aren't white. A policy was given to us stating quiet time is at 11 pm. Why did Melanie and Tony come to our campsite at 8 pm? To turn off the music. There's a way to speak to people and clearly, they both don't understand that. How else would you think a customer will respond to being spoken to like an animal? That was settled we turned off the music and moved into the woods to have a campfire and share stories. They came back again like a swat team. Tony was giving us a fair warning and Melanie hopped out of the golf cart screaming out profanity in front of young children. I thought this was a family campsite? After a point, we all had enough and will defend ourselves. You can tell how prejudice they are. After they left the campsite they stayed up in the dark by the bathrooms watching us. Talk about purge vibes. I felt so uncomfortable I send out my location to a few of my family and friends. The following morning Melanie goes up to my aunt saying "when are you leaving?" Great way to start the morning. We had reservations till Tuesday. She continued saying we had an hour to pack up and go. A family of 50 with small children, older adults, and young adults. The police did come and told us they were called because we refused to leave. Funny enough we were packing our belongings leaving regardless due to what happened the night before. The officer even said take your time and left. And if you thought that was over we got charged a fee "Leaving campsite dirty" we left it cleaner than when we arrived.

Great easy pull in, or back in sites for bigger RVs with water/ electric/ and sewer hook ups This campground is new to this owner for a few years now, and 2020 has not been nice with a couple fires. But they are working hard, and really go out of their way to make your stay wonderful. They had to make some 2020 adjustments and move the store to the front in an older camper and it is ADORABLE!
