What a beautiful park! The park has been around for a while so bathrooms and showers are older. You're surrounded by nature and stillness. Very much enjoyed our stay here. They have recreation barn filled with coloring, arcade games, air hockey, and pool table. The only disappointment we had was the pool not being heated , even though it's advertised. We stayed in one of the 6 rooms inside the house that is located at the entrance to the RV Park. We rented through Air B&B and the description listed it as a cabin. So to be clear, we were actually renting one of the bedrooms inside the house. Shared bathroom and kitchen were part of the room rate. Definitely not my preferred travel choice but our options were limited. All -in- all it worked out because it was not a full house so we never had to battle access to either space. This property would be ideal for large families or friends traveling together. Tranquil setting, staffed office during daytime and furnished kitchen and toiletries, made traveling easy and pleasant. read more

We stayed in the campground for 4 nights. The bathrooms on the upper level were never cleaned. Toilet paper and bugs all over the floor. The toilets were not cleaned as "stuff" was all over the back of the bowls. The showers lacked adequate shelving and hooks. And one didn't even work. The lower bathrooms were a little better, I assume, because they were near the pool and rec hall. Stalls ran out of toilet paper but were almost always filled with unflushed paper. The pool was green and not available to use until the day we were leaving. On the plus side. The sites were nice and level and clean. It is very accessible to many things to see in the area within 45 minutes like the FDR Mansion and the Hudson Walking Bridge and other places. Unless things change for next season, I would not recommend this place for anyone who does not have their own facilities in their RV. read more

Where do I begin ? This campground, can improve every thing Starting from the pool, that never worked , the stench of chlorine and always was under some kind of construction in three months I used the pool once ! The snack bar was nonexistence One get together the whole season in the barn for an organized entertainment ... and that was just in the beginning of the season to meet people , otherwise there were no other entertainment no hay rides for the kids For the season I was there. It underwent three different management. My husband had to trim the trees resting on our RV roof although they said they would get someone to handle it for us no one ever came and we did not want our RV to get ruined the lake was full of moss where you could not even go down to fish and even if he did want to go fishing on the way down, there was all duck poop all over. You really had to watch where you walked and I had my dogs with us so we couldn't even walk around the lake for our own entertainment! The pictures are beautiful, but that's just what they are pictures! Ethan, the young man in the office was the best asset to this campground. He did his best, but he was the only one left standing when they were so many management changes. read more

We're working up our way to Maine so we can leisurely explore the East Coast on a south-bound trip. The last stop before Maine is in Rhinebeck, NY at the Interlake RV Park. This is a park in a wooded setting -- quiet, peaceful and tranquil. The breeze whispers through the trees and the star shows in the evening sky are breathtaking. This is an older RV Park that according to a former manager, was recently purchased and renovations are underway. The office and small store are clean with a little bit of everything you'd never need, plus a couple things that would come in handy. There are horseshoe pits and a fish pond. We were assigned our spot and found it large and comfortable, level and clean. All sites are graveled or dirt but all are under canopies of mature trees, shielding everyone from the overhead sun. There are several long-term residents. The park seems well maintained. The buildings are older, but all have a new coat of paint. The recreation hall has a laundromat, a small stage for entertaining, a large indoor picnic table area, board games, a very nice swimming pool and a snack shack. The bathroom/shower combo has been freshly painted, is clean and the showers are clean. On weekends, extra activities including a breakfast buffet Friday-Sunday are offered. One of the only drawbacks is that most sites do not have sewer hookups, but they do offer a free pump out service once a week. There also is a dump station. There are an abundance of cable stations, a slower free WiFi or a faster WiFi that costs. We opted for the free WiFi which is more than adequate for our needs. A nice place for a nice price. Check it out, you won't be disappointed. read more

We have seasonal site here for the first time. Our site is super spacious and up on a hill. Park is very hilly. Laundry area and restrooms are more than adequate for a campground. Overall, Park is very clean and well kept. Staff here are great and friendly! read more

Overall not as good as it was in past seasons. Grounds poorly maintained, unclean facilities, rooms seem like they weren't given the white glove. Found dirty socks behind my bed when I dropped my phone and went looking for it. I looked at the tent sites because I had a friend interested in tent camping but they are all uneven and close together, almost zero privacy. It seemed like the person in charge was a teenager or barely out of high school. I looked up the facebook profile of the supposed general manager and she was in a completely different part of the state during our stay, all of her social media posts were of alcoholic beverages and places she was traveling. Not really sure how you're supposed to be managing a campground if you're everywhere else but at the campground, but it certainly explains why the property has gone downhill compared to previous seasons. read more

Nothing is being maintained since the change in management took place. Staff seems to be down to 2 people, no manager on duty for emergencies, police have been to property multiple times in a short span of time, I've heard that people who live here seasonally and pay for seaonal sites have been double-charged and when they ask the office what is happening they are evicted. Have also heard about water main leaks that were left un-fixed for hours and when they were finally repaired water was shut off to entire sections of the park without notice. Poop on the bathroom floors for days, general feeling of uncleanliness in public spaces. Pool has not been opened most days. Generally feels unsafe/not family friendly/hostile at this point. read more

Roads are falling apart, sites are overgrown, bathrooms are filthy, none of the advertised events actually occur, and on top of that the management this year is rude and almost non-existant. Snack shack rarely open, and when they are open they're out of stock on most items. Wi-fi barely works either. NOW my power was shut down during a heat advisory it was 90 degrees my camper temperature rose to 107 degrees while me and my dog were sleeping and my power was shut off just read the other reviews and you'll see this is truth! and I was rushed to the hospital my dog was taken to the vet all in an attempt to evict me and my family after 9 years of being here with 0 problems! Ryan and Josh were well aware of this situation and did NOTHONG to stop it I called them and begged them to make the management team stop harassing us all but it did not stop it took the police armed guards and a trip to the hospital to stop it all. The management is crazy she accused me of assaulting her and after the police viewed their own video tape she was removed from the grounds by her own people! for hitting me and taking my phone because I was filming one of her crazy rants I was trying to find out Who was responsible for sending me and my dog to the hospital. IF you value your family &pets beware of this place they have NO clue how to run or care for people the grounds are filthy the garbage in filled and overflowing the laundry room overflows and floods the pool is at dangerous chlorine levels because they don't know how to take care of it the kiddie pool is closed the game room and snack bar are closed the grounds are a mess the dog poop holder overflows with bags there are 0 amenity's here go elsewhere please for your own safety I have videos if you would like to see them just ask I will gladly share them all BEWARE and it is dangerous here. ALSO JOSH AND RYAN THE OWNERS WERE MADE AWARE OF WHAT WAS HAPPINING AND CHOSE TO IGNORE IT 100% TRUTH I CALLED THEM BOTH AND LEFT FRANTIC MESSAGES ON THEIR VOICEMAILS AND LETTERS WERE WRITTEN FROM THE PREVIOUS OWNERS TO THEM ASKING THEM TO STOP THIS MADNESS. i ENDED UP GOING TO ANOTHER CAMPGROUND AFTER THEY HIRED ARMED GUARDS AND POLICE WERE CALLED ALL THE TIME DUE TO HOMELESS PEOPLE USING THE BATHHOUSES AS THERIR PERSONAL BATHROOMS SERIOUSLY! Stayed in a suite in main building. Dirty room/shower stall/toilet. Sticky floors. Odd nauseating unidentifiable odor in room - took 2 days to slightly dissipate. A/C with no way to change air flow direction. Management totally unresponsive to emails re: problems with room. Previous owners (a family) were wonderful and everything was always spotless (I had stayed there for years every summer prior to Covid). Too bad Interlake was taken over by a corporation. Great RV Park. Good prices, on beautiful forested rolling hills. Ample sites for RVs & camping. Very nice pool & sack bar area, with laundromat. Fishing & boating pond, but lake overgrown into a swamp of sorts. Only real complaint is that promised WiFi simply doesn't function (perhaps a home internet connection with a domestic router?). Not a big deal, but took work because promised Wifi which never functioned. Was especially grating as little to no cel service in most of the park. That said, it's CAMPING after all, and an immaculately cared for camping ground within 15 minutes of Rhinebeck. Recommended. read more

Very disappointed as a former seasonal. Hope they can survive on just people coming in on a weekly basis. They lost some awesome long time seasonals. New management is manipulative and could care less about the people that go there. Their snack shack is never open their store is always empty. Too bad it was nice when it was family run. read more

We stayed a few nights during summer 2020 and loved it so much we chose to move in for 6 months for summer 2021. Then the family that built and owned it for 50 years it sold in early June and a fast downward spiral of services followed a seemingly intended nasty culture of general unprofessionalism. There were 5 or 6 management changes over the next 10 or 12 weeks, all of the staff were fired, untrained staff and security guards hired, fired, new ones hired... and it seemed the main things they all did was to race their carts at breakneck speeds without ever stopping to do any tasks that the folks like us paid in advance for, and requests for refunds were denied with a bullying vengeance. The internet went down and they claimed that it was the IP that had trouble, and we believed them (even though the cable company said they did not pay their bill) until their phone line was disconnected. We were given a new phone # which went unanswered for months until we gave up. The summer was ruined for us and our neighbors, some of whom had been there for many seasons. For the time being this is a "must avoid" place. read more

I only give it two stars due to the tent camping site we were given. It was rocky, hilly, and filled with exposed roots. Putting up your tent was kinda like a game of tetris. That said, the facilities were clean and the staff was very friendly. I had forgotten a few key items and the store had them and saved the day. Just returned home from the last weekend at Interlake RV Park. Very clean bathrooms and friendly staff. Level sites with plenty of space between camping sites. Appears to have a lot of seasonal sites. Would definitely return next year and would recommend for a quiet clean site with amenities. read more
